Hi, its good to find a realistic report like this. I have had a lot more fish on copy lures than originals in the last few years simply because I fish areas that are tackle hungry.With originals at perhaps £20 each I wind faster and try to keep them just off the bottom or avoid casting at rocks, but with a £3 or less copy I drag them across the bottom, cast and hit the sides or rocks and abuse them. This puts the lure where the fish are. The fear of loosing an expensive lure was costing me fish.
Glad you thinks so. Glad the copies do work. I need to put more time in with them. Just need the winds to change and I shall persevere with the copies.
Not fishing dark sleepers in high risk of getting snagged situation.Just use different kind of weedless lure in this kind of situation. AliExpress knock offs always disappoint me Life is just to short for this 😄

Other less expensive lures can replicate the same thing. I have some great AliExpress lures but these copies aren’t great.
