I bought a couple models of the Orochi X10s from Japan last year and they are absolutely astonishing!!! Makes it very hard to spend another $100 more for a P5 model.
Would you say they’re on par with the P5s? Because even though they’re priced at $100 less than the P5s in the US market, this is not the case in JDM stores. Even on the Megabass Factory Store, they’re priced at only ~0-2000 yen less than P5s, and sometimes even more than P5s (depending on the model).
Can someone explain to me why it’s cheaper to buy them from Japan and it’s from the states and then the state wants to jack up the price just to give you a warranty and then charge you after a year for more on the rod
Why is it not mentioned that the medusa has a solid/stinger tip. Completely changes a rods action and sensitivity. The solid tip is why people love it for minnow on a jighead aka pinging a minnow. Maby i missed it vut if not talkingvout solid tipon medusa its very much misleading people about what the rod is and or will be best at!
@@LakeProTackle Do you think that the weight really even plays a factor in saying they’re not QUITE on the level of P5s? Because it’s pretty much a P5 blank with the “organic fibers” on top, or weaved in, which is what constitutes the extra weight. If this extra layer didn’t serve a purpose (which it does; the “dampening” effect) then you could say that they’re simply heavier. That being said, would you say there on par with P5s in every other category? (Depending on the intended purpose a certain model, of course).

Is this rod as good as the P5?
I would say it it almost just as good. Slightly heavier but I think it is caused by the more moderate actions on most of the rods.
