Shimomura has the composition credit but that's all, because the track is based on music that Shimomura did previously. So I just got into Kingdom Hearts in July and lemme tell you, and I specifically saved Ansem for last so we can all gang up on him cause I was still salty on how many times He kicked my ass in KH1.
I went for Young Xehanort first because of all the shit he did to me in DDD and this game, so I imagined myself pointing my keyblade at him and saying "You're first". Xemnas was next, and I made sure to smack him all around for what he did to Lea/Axel, Xion, and Roxas. I enjoyed that the most. Ansem was last, and I thoroughly enjoyed that as well, especially since despite playing re:coded first, I loved fighting him in Kingdom Hearts and saw ending him last as a fitting way to "close the book" on this saga.

This fight with all 13 pro codes on ReMind's release day was an absolute nightmare. If the game didn't checkpoint after each Xehanort's K.O., I would've considered it impossible.

There’s a lot of good soundtracks from Kingdom hearts and a lot of awesome boss compositions. But this one just screams out that pure hate and evil that Xehanort truly represents. It’s a song that literally screams “I’m going to engulf you all in darkness. And I’m going to take all worlds with you!”
I enjoyed the part where I summoned a massive merry go round against these very serious antagonists, and Disney'd all over them. That is how the battle canonically took place.
