Hi guys Great listen, personally I don’t think Norwich will mind playing Leeds or Southampton in the play offs, Leeds won’t be in a great frame of mind after missing out on top 2 and QPR battered them, I think Wagner will rest a few of his best players imo Blues to win 2-0 KRO

I'm sure that Gary Rowett will set the team up to face a full strength Norwich team, which is definitely the right approach. I'm sure in front of a sell out crowd boys can do what they need to do to keep us up. KRO
Stating the obvious, but hopefully we will stay up. However, we should already be planning for the eventuality that we don't. So we should be looking at the players that have got Portsmouth, Derby and AN Other promoted and going after them. Marlon Pack is the Pompey Captain so IMHO we should have a good look at him. Also the management situation needs to be sorted. No disrespect to Tony Mowbray, but the situation needs some clarification. If we do need a new coach then IMHO it shouldn't be Gary Rowett because I don't think that he's done enough. Sporting comebacks never work. The problem with going after players from teams like Derby and Portsmouth is that firstly the clubs might want to keep them and secondly the players will undoubtedly want to play in the Championship. The good news for you is our defence is poor, so you’ll probably score at least one. But we have four great goalscorers - Sargent, Sara, Rowe and Sainz. We lose when the midfield gets choked, and we love counterattacking. Should be fun.

Norwich won’t roll-over and they’re a decent side, we’re bang average…. but have home advantage. This leads me to think it will be 1-1. I’d have more confidence if we had a team of battlers (as in previous relegation fights)… nevertheless, I’ve got my blue-tinted glasses on and mildly hopeful we’ll get the result. Interesting discussion regarding team selection. I agree with you guys that JJ should maybe play cos he’s got a goal in him. Definitely drop Bacuna though. Not convinced with Roberts or Sanderson, but I also agree that Sanderson is slightly more agile, so should start. Got pre-match nerves 48 hours before kick-off. KRO 👍

I think it will finish Birmingham 4 Norwich 3. The winner will be 90 + 6! Norwich need to attack which will give Birmingham more space and it should be an open game. Plymouth and Blackburn have hard games, so Birmingham will survive.

Hello again Matt and Gary. I don't know if you are keeping up with free transfers from other clubs but Albert Adomah of QPR will be a free agent this summer. He is 36 and Ghanaian. He set the record of 525 Championship appearances against Leeds. He wants to play for 2 more years and would be interested in a Midlands club who wants him! Another player you should try and get is Chris Willock. His contract ends this summer and he wants to leave. He would be an excellent addition to your squad. If I had found your UA-cam channel before the Rotherham game I would have advised you NOT to buy Andre Dozzell. He only scored that goal at Middlesbough and thats it. We are also trying to get rid of our striker Lyndon Dykes. I will warn you now - DO NOT BUY HIM. He has only scored 7 goals and usually averages 10 per season. Albert Adomah as he wants to play for a Midlands club would be ideal and Chris Willock, although he might get a lot of offers, are the 2 to try and get.

For the first time in many seasons we will finally be able to look at buying players rather than just looking at the free and loan markets. Andre Dozell is an interesting one. Tony mowbray brought him in in January and he started well for us. However since Tony had to step down for medical reasons Dozzell has featured less and less to a point where he is not even getting on the bench. Tony may want to keep him if he comes back, which we all hope he will, however I think most Blues fans would be happy for him to be sent back. Chris Wilock is a good player and may be someone we could look at however whatever happens there is going to be a huge turnaround in players in the summer as 10 are out of contract plus our five loans will go back. Let's hope we can stay in the Championship as that will allow us to attract better players. KRO
NCFC Fan - I listen to you, but the norwich game is a different kind of pressure to coventry game, as that was a (derby)...and if you would have lost that game birmingham had other chances coming - the pressure was not quite like win or relegate..... As a norwich fan, i think there will be goals both ways......from birmingham's point hopefully they don't park the bus if you take lead as you don't seem to be able to defend a lead - Norwich can't keep them out either - so for both it's simple both go for goals - all the best - Channel Good Listen

If we don't win we are down. We are at home and in front of a sold out St.Andrews@KnightheadPark and I guarantee we will definitely not park the bus. We have been fairly decent at home with the exception of some notably poor performances, but we always get better results against teams that come at us. I think Norwich will do that. He is clearly a good player but he makes us vulnerable when he loses the ball and the opposition counter-attack. KRO
I give Blues maybe a 10% chance of winning the game and 50% chance of drawing it. I give Norwich a 40% chance of winning. Norwich have the incentive of finishing 5th and playing the more favourable game against Southampton in the playoffs. They can guarantee that with a win on Saturday. Their away form on paper does look a little weak, but they have lost a lot of points very late on in away games and only lost others by the odd goal. They are worthy playoff contenders having only lost 3 league games in 2024 and having taken 4pts from their games against closest rivals Ipswich, they have proven they can cope in a hostile atmosphere. Blues always seem to wriggle out of it but the only way that happens this time around is by winning the game and Blackburn losing, as I think Plymouth will beat Hull at home and Sheff Wed only need a point at freefalling Sunderland. Vardy said after the game the other night that Leicester are gunning for the 100pts target this weekend, so you can assume they will be going for it. But Blackburn know a point will do. I would expect them to set up camp on the edge of the box and John Eustace ultimately ending the season with the last laugh I'm afraid.

Stating the obvious, but hopefully we will stay up. However, we should already be planning for the eventuality that we don't. So we should be looking at the players that have got Portsmouth, Derby and AN Other promoted and going after them. Marlon Pack is the Pompey Captain so IMHO we should have a good look at him. Also the management situation needs to be sorted. No disrespect to Tony Mowbray, but the situation needs some clarification. If we do need a new coach then IMHO it shouldn't be Gary Rowett because I don't think that he's done enough. Sporting comebacks never work. KRO

Thank you for your comment. I suspect the club have already been preparing for the different scenarios. The problem with going after players from teams like Derby and Portsmouth is that firstly the clubs might want to keep them and secondly the players will undoubtedly want to play in the Championship.

I think everyone will need a bit of luck this weekend and it's so difficult to tell how this will eventually play out. I must admit I do have my eyes on the Leicester / Blackburn game as that is such a difficult game for Rovers.

The good news for you is our defence is poor, so you’ll probably score at least one. But we have four great goalscorers - Sargent, Sara, Rowe and Sainz. We lose when the midfield gets choked, and we love counterattacking. Should be fun.

Norwich won’t roll-over and they’re a decent side, we’re bang average…. but have home advantage. This leads me to think it will be 1-1. I’d have more confidence if we had a team of battlers (as in previous relegation fights)… nevertheless, I’ve got my blue-tinted glasses on and mildly hopeful we’ll get the result. Interesting discussion regarding team selection. I agree with you guys that JJ should maybe play cos he’s got a goal in him. Definitely drop Bacuna though. Not convinced with Roberts or Sanderson, but I also agree that Sanderson is slightly more agile, so should start. Got pre-match nerves 48 hours before kick-off. KRO 👍

I think it will finish Birmingham 4 Norwich 3. The winner will be 90 + 6! Norwich need to attack which will give Birmingham more space and it should be an open game. Plymouth and Blackburn have hard games, so Birmingham will survive.

Hello again Matt and Gary. I don't know if you are keeping up with free transfers from other clubs but Albert Adomah of QPR will be a free agent this summer. He is 36 and Ghanaian. He set the record of 525 Championship appearances against Leeds. He wants to play for 2 more years and would be interested in a Midlands club who wants him! Another player you should try and get is Chris Willock. His contract ends this summer and he wants to leave. He would be an excellent addition to your squad. If I had found your UA-cam channel before the Rotherham game I would have advised you NOT to buy Andre Dozzell. He only scored that goal at Middlesbough and thats it. We are also trying to get rid of our striker Lyndon Dykes. I will warn you now - DO NOT BUY HIM. He has only scored 7 goals and usually averages 10 per season. Albert Adomah as he wants to play for a Midlands club would be ideal and Chris Willock, although he might get a lot of offers, are the 2 to try and get.
Thank you very much for your comment and the heads up about QPR players. For the first time in many seasons we will finally be able to look at buying players rather than just looking at the free and loan markets.
Andre Dozell is an interesting one. Tony mowbray brought him in in January and he started well for us. However since Tony had to step down for medical reasons Dozzell has featured less and less to a point where he is not even getting on the bench. Tony may want to keep him if he comes back, which we all hope he will, however I think most Blues fans would be happy for him to be sent back.
Chris Wilock is a good player and may be someone we could look at however whatever happens there is going to be a huge turnaround in players in the summer as 10 are out of contract plus our five loans will go back. Let's hope we can stay in the Championship as that will allow us to attract better players. KRO
NCFC Fan - I listen to you, but the norwich game is a different kind of pressure to coventry game, as that was a (derby)...and if you would have lost that game birmingham had other chances coming - the pressure was not quite like win or relegate.....
As a norwich fan, i think there will be goals both ways......from birmingham's point hopefully they don't park the bus if you take lead as you don't seem to be able to defend a lead - Norwich can't keep them out either - so for both it's simple both go for goals - all the best - Channel Good Listen

We are at home and in front of a sold out St.Andrews@KnightheadPark and I guarantee we will definitely not park the bus. We have been fairly decent at home with the exception of some notably poor performances, but we always get better results against teams that come at us. I think Norwich will do that.

That's really interesting, if we were favourites to win the game I would think with the other games would lower those odds of relegation slightly. They know what they are doing but that seems strange with Blackburn being at Leicester.

I give Blues maybe a 10% chance of winning the game and 50% chance of drawing it. I give Norwich a 40% chance of winning.
Norwich have the incentive of finishing 5th and playing the more favourable game against Southampton in the playoffs. They can guarantee that with a win on Saturday.
Their away form on paper does look a little weak, but they have lost a lot of points very late on in away games and only lost others by the odd goal. They are worthy playoff contenders having only lost 3 league games in 2024 and having taken 4pts from their games against closest rivals Ipswich, they have proven they can cope in a hostile atmosphere.
Blues always seem to wriggle out of it but the only way that happens this time around is by winning the game and Blackburn losing, as I think Plymouth will beat Hull at home and Sheff Wed only need a point at freefalling Sunderland.
Vardy said after the game the other night that Leicester are gunning for the 100pts target this weekend, so you can assume they will be going for it. But Blackburn know a point will do. I would expect them to set up camp on the edge of the box and John Eustace ultimately ending the season with the last laugh I'm afraid.
Thank you for your comment. There are lots of possible scenarios but none of them make a scrap of difference if Blues don't pick up the three points. Anything less and we will be relegated. If they can do that then I think both Plymouth and Blackburn have tough fixtures so anything can happen.
