butter on Christmas is very nice I never buy butter but on Christmas with bread once a year you metabolize it super easy it all burns away I enjoyed butter over Christmas :)
Remember when the EEC as it was, bought our loyalty with cheap butter & anyone remember the huge burgers they gave out for free? We had about 50 of them in the freezer. They were delicious
It'll be more expensive for us. But the butter there, I'd say it was gorgeous. I'd love to be handed one now. It might be rock hard in this weather, but a few knobs of it into steaming spuds.🧚♂️😀
This was the era of Greenshield Stamps. Fill an entire book over weeks & weeks, then exchange it for £1 off your food shopping. The simple good old & days.
2:00 "on sale but how to get rid of it" well for such cheap large amount you can bake with it then properly freeze all you bake so.. you save money that way too with lots of Banaba bread or croissants made with the sale butter in the freezer
I see the high trust society was beginning to fray at the edges even then, with little old ladies "seeing what they could get away with" and having varying amounts of children ... depending on who's asking, like.
Cheap butter.... people going crazy over it, sending Derek Davis to interview people buying said cheap butter..... wow, life was very different back then...cant imagine that happening nowadays.
I remember a neighbour bringing meat around to the neighbour hood , or " the hood" these days, because of the mountain of food going to waste in Europe,,,,, fuc,, life wasn't that great in the early 80s , sure it's when I died ,, I mean got married,,same thing..
Remember butter vouchers? I could trade them for cigs and sweets when I was a kid . Good times
Priceless footage from ' a galaxy far away and long ago '
It's not as long gone as you imagine

The innocence of the folk come through!
It’s natural butter! It’s not trans fats like those found in toxic margarine and vegetable oils.
She has 7 or 8 children? Lol
I'm never quite so happy as when I've got a gob full of butter
