Jon’s voice is so unique that makes it pop, rock, emotional, it may not be in any genre. The songs are made to be sung by Jon, any other voice hardly fit in. I think the important thing when you cover BJ songs is choice right songs or twist them own way. In this video, Blake, Melinda, and Lakisha did it right.

Chris was pretty decent, but I don't think the song was the best pace for him. Obviously, Bon Jovi and other bands similar have a very distinct sound, and Jon has a very distinct and unique voice. I also love the way both Jon Bon Jovi & David Bryan interacted with the contestants during the workshop phase of the show! They both gave these kids excellent pointers & also made sure that they had encouragement as well!
