I grew up listening to the Little River band I love their music including this song. It's funny how not only Can a song trap me trap memories as if they're frozen and ice waiting to berecalled, yet some of this music still applies today just as much as it did the 1st time around. You were my first love and I had lived a sheltered life. This song reminds me of you. You were with a friend and you were watching me on the dance floor after you had dumped me months before. How I needed to grow up back then. Hope you can forgive me after all this time. I think of you every now and then. I have had a hard time forgiving myself. In spite of everthing I had loved you and burned you 😢. It really wasn't intentional. I was too embarrassed as well. I have had friends tell me it was poetic justice back then. I love how most Italian men are polite (at least that's been my encounter). I used to work on a military base in Northern Nevada many years ago and I worked around quite a few military men and women and I was treated with a great deal of respect from ALL of them, however, the Italian men seem to stand out in my memories. I also believe it's due to the fact that I love the Italian culture, amazing artists and so much of their history. Italy is THE place I would love to visit most before I leave this life behind.
