I initially started flipping pretty close to when you did, and the arctic was my first metal bali as well. I barely missed getting an og4 when they were very current to the times 😆then I ended up with a blurple and cotton candy arctic. Looking forward to more glidr products eventually in the future too
I am glad they didn’t change the blade design. Maybe changing the cut outs in the tanto slightly but not much but I couldn’t ever imagine a glidr product with a bowie blade shape
@@BladeBias I actually lost sleep over this comment of mine. I was thinking a bite handle indicator would actually be really great of a change to the glidr tanto. Of course this was after flipping the haztac jigsaw which I found that bite handle indicator will hit against the back of your fingers on sloppy wrist passes. It lets you know effectively for a trainer. Not for the Chaplin area tho. But yeah an indicator should be added to the glidr just something simple.
Would the changes to the tang profile make it harder for drops to mess up the pivots? From the pictures on Glidr's website, it looks like the tang area now sticks up a little past the sides of the pivots. I remember Brandon dropped his antarctic on the pivot area which caused it to bind, so maybe Glidr's rationale behind the tang change was to try and prevent that kind of stuff from happening by putting a little more steel there to protect the pivots. Idk tho, honestly I think the new tang looks fine, but there's my take on it.
Someone sent me a picture at a different angle and it seems like that's absolutely one of the changes made, which is a weird thing to omit in the email they sent out considering it was so needed
literally been waiting ages to buy a new green arctic, on top of that the green arctic is also sentimental to me so the hurt is real 😭 the seafoam looks pretty good at least, I'll likely be getting that colour. As for the changes, I'd say I'm mostly in support of the new changes as while they may not be changes worth upgrading from old glidrs for, they're definitely net-good quality-of-life changes for people buying new. Also glidr 2 HD seems a lil worthy of note, 7075 alu for sub-150 and if you pair it with pin spacers it'd make a great package for ~150
I'll also add that I'm *mostly* in favour of the changes personally, I didn't actually think of the potential squishiness change and I do think the OG surface grip is unique to the arctic, but I also remember that I always had issues with dirt getting stuck in the grooves so tbh this is a quality I'm willing to sacrifice lmao
I missed that they were getting rid of the green, i assume that means the watermelon colorway is also going away so I'm very glad I got one in December
I have been waiting on a drop since early December and I cannot wait to get my hands on an arctic. I'm conflicted between getting a seafoam colored arctic and a Jupiter colored arctic. Maybe I'll get both who knows.
@Julian2014 Also tealberry is a sick color scheme, that would be my third choice. It was crazy how fast they sold out too, within less than 4 hours they were completely out of stock
@@Cdubyajr Nicee yeah I was on the site the second it went live and got it. Like a minute later it went out of stock lol crazy. But nice man, have fun with them got super lucky being able to get two at once! My second choice would’ve been the seafoam but thought u should try a different color handle this time around.
I'm glad I bought a lime green v1 Antarctic on their first drop and before they discontinued it, mine still has little play and no tap glidrs tolerances are great.
A horrible decision, really. Green is by far the best color they do and it is one of the only colors fairly unique to their company... not very many other knife makers have that green or that awesome watermelon combo
you look like vector from despicable me
I mean no disrespect btw
If I had a nickel for every time I've heard this throughout the course of my life, I'd be able to do youtube full time
Best complement ever
Nahhhhhhh 💀💀💀😭😭😭
@@BladeBias can we get an OH YEAHHHH?

I meant changing the cutouts, glidr is known for their tantos

Arctic HD looks amazing

Finally! Been waiting for this video!
Here it is
I have been waiting on a drop since early December and I cannot wait to get my hands on an arctic. I'm conflicted between getting a seafoam colored arctic and a Jupiter colored arctic. Maybe I'll get both who knows.
which one did you end up getting? I got the tealberry
@Julian2014 I ended up realizing I wouldn't get another opportunity in months, so I just commit and got both lagoon and Jupiter
@Julian2014 Also tealberry is a sick color scheme, that would be my third choice. It was crazy how fast they sold out too, within less than 4 hours they were completely out of stock

I didn't like the green on the Arctic and Antarctic. My fav is cotton candy.
Sad to hear that
I'm glad I bought a lime green v1 Antarctic on their first drop and before they discontinued it, mine still has little play and no tap glidrs tolerances are great.
I would be incredibly upset if I liked their green. I find the post as a full upgrade because the new colors are awesome and Arctic 2.
The seafoam is 🔥🔥🔥

I wish they’d put out an olive/od green
I'd still miss their lime green
Guess I should be glad I got my Antarctic in watermelon. I got half a green one lol.
very sad times
hell yeah scaled and icy on the shelf
Great album
Umm what is the name of each all your looping tricks looks kinda flashy ngl
They're all just looping combos, no specific name as far as I'm aware
Just copped a fire and ice arctic 2
I beat my green artic too. Sorry man, that sucks.
Brandon jas to pick up the ruby colour
I am thinking of getting a glidr product. Should I get the artic or antarctic.
antarctic
Do your research and pick from your preference, they're both pretty different
Guys should i get the glidr antarctic or machinewise prysma
Prysma
was the word you were thinking of “temporary”?
I don't think so
Who is camaroEE and where's Ethan

You play Pokémon violet
Yeah, I've made a video about it on this channel
Green glidr gaaang🎉

My forearms are good too though
