@@KennyQuestShow The low seat height plus the mid-controls definitely allow for more confidence for shorter inseam riders like yours truly. I sat on a number of bikes before settling on the Iron. Perfect fit for a 27” inseam.

Nice review. You earned a new subscriber. I currently ride a ninja 400. This is my next bike. Thought I wanted to be a fast boi but I ride more like I should be on a cruiser
Thank you for subscribing! I think you’ll like the difference in torque between the two. Plus you can do the fast Boi life at anytime by dropping in a cam kit from s&s or hammer performance brands!
Build quality? I beg to differ. My 2021 Iron 883 came with the front rocket box leaking oil through the metal.... they changed gaskets and nothing... then admitted to HD overdriving something or it being attributed to "metal porosity" .. anyways the weather is nice but I cant ride cause my dealership has my bike waiting for a replacement.
Man, that’s a terrible situation that your experiencing. This demonstrates HD bikes aren’t immune to failures and someone’s good experience can be another’s nightmare. I hope you’re under warranty and the dealer support is there to remedy the situation. Update me, if you will, on how this plays out. Good luck.
Its not as common but in my shopping around on FB market place and craiglist I found a few 15 to 20 year old sportsters with no mods and some practically stock with just a windshield and saddle bags.
My 2006 1200L is 99% stock. It has slip on mufflers, a small backrest, and bolt on saddlebags. Everything else, including the seat, bars, pegs, even the air cleaner is still completely stock, and will remain that way.
You couldn't give me an EFI bike unless I could turn right around and sell it to some idiot that didn't know any better. The Harley Davidson Sportster (minus ABS) is a great motorcycle, EXCEPT for the EFI, which is GARBAGE. I bought my first Harley in 2008. It is (yes I still have it) a 2006 1200L. Last year for the carbureted Sportsters. I have never had any problems with it, but even carbureted Sportsters have one HUGE problem. The clutch. There are actually 2 separate problems. One is a spring plate in the clutch that is put together with BRASS rivets. These things will disintegrate and do serious damage to the clutch and possibly to the transmission as well. The other problem is the clutch release bearing. It also tends to disintegrate. Fortunately I found out about these issues before it was to0 late. There are aftermarket fixes for both issues. Plan on spending about $300 on parts and specialty tools, assuming you can do it yourself. H-D still uses these crappy parts, but they will last over 10K miles, giving you time to deal with them before they fail. IF you want to deal with the hassles of EFI, then I suggest you buy a new Sportster right now, because 2021 is the LAST year for the Sportster. H-D is going full blown Japanese after that. It is possible to correct some of the issues with H-D EFI (accepting the fact that ALL EFI is and always will be basically GARBAGE) but plan on spending around $1000 to do it. Also be aware that doing so will void your warranty, so I don't suggest buying any extended warranties if you plan to fix the EFI (which is ABSOLUTELY necessary if you intend to install an aftermarket exhaust) and there isn't much point in buying a Harley unless you intend to put an aftermarket exhaust on it.
Thank you for sharing your experience with the sportster. I plan on upgrading the clutch assembly before 10k and at the same time I do some engine upgrades.
Agreed. But those in a tough spot need transportation to get to work and in the rural areas there isn’t public transportation. She financed $2k paid cash for the rest.
Great review! I’d add that the Iron is ideal if you have a short inseam.
Good call! I feel short or long it’s adaptable to most riders in a mid or the optional forward control position. Thank you for commenting!

@@artshahnazarianesq.6774 The short seat height instilled confidence for me at 6-0. I’ll be sure to emphasize this on my 500 mile review video.

I have one ! Love it 🤟🙌 add Forward controls if you're tall
And mileage is also good...
I have learned that since I made that episode, when I do my long term review video I plan on mentioning that fact! Thanks for watching!

You said "stock" which is very rare for anyone that owns a Harley Davidson for any length of time.

Agreed! The Harley Tax (intake, exhaust, tune), aka Stage I, is the one and only unfortunate part of owning a Harley.
Nice 👍
Buying one next week in this color
Awesome! I love mine.

If you have a sub 500 credit score, DO NOT finance a bike. You gotta bigger fish to fry right now.

It’s a great way to build your credit…. It’s like $180 a month lol it’s a joke of a payment
I like Harleys. This seems like propaganda.
I was new to the bike and the UA-cam game, so the presentation may be a bit much for some, but I still ride and love my 883
Nicely done Kenny, we'll put and we'll said. We'll done!
Thank you very much!
