Cosmoline on a mower deck: Review

In this video I put a can of cosmoline on a Kubota G1800 mower deck to determine how well it would protect the metal.

I did two coats on my 60" Kubota deck about a year and a half ago. I found there to be less buildup than and uncoated deck and the buildup that did occur came off much easier. It also prevents the deck from rusting out in the areas where there is buildup. I plan to touch up as needed every two years.
