@@MahoneyOutdoors Any thought to putting a large tarp over the canvas material, when not using it, to extend the life of the canvas through the winter and sunny months? I bought one and want to keep the stand up for animal and other wildlife viewing when not hunting.
Pretty impressed overall. Biggest thing is keeping the windows opened/closed in a way that doesn't allow the animals to spot you. I kept some windows open and some closed while hunting. Did very well in the elements.
Canvas is still holding up. Only thing is that it's faded in color. We were going to put some kind of sealant on it but never did. Otherwise everything is still in great working order!
Faded a little on the fabric, but we left it out through end of June. So partially our fault I think. We never sprayed any kind of sealant on there either which we plan to do before this season.
I found this blind about a month ago. Really interested in this blind. I'm 55 and I think I'm done with ladder stands. This seems like a very logical and economical next step. I would really like a fiberglass one, but where I hunt I don't think it would be wise to spend that kinda money on a blind. Plus I bet this one is a whole lot easier to move if need be. I'm planning on buying one in the spring. How has the canvas held up for this hunting season? Do you think you can get some years out of them?
Canvas held up very well. We left it out through June and it did experience some fading on the fabric. Partially our fault. Would have liked to have gotten the blind part taken down by April but we wanted to try turkey hunting out of it.
@@MahoneyOutdoors Thanks for the reply/update. I still haven't pulled the trigger on this blind but it definitely on my to do list. Life happened and my hunting expenditures got put on hold. So, it looks like it will be one more season hunting from a ladder stand. Were you able to harvest anything from this blind? It still looks like the most bang for your buck, pun intended, for an elevated blind.
Just learned about this blind, and this is a great video review of the blind. Canvas durability is my only concern. We need 3-4 of these for our property. How has the canvas been holding up? Thank you.
I bought mine this year and was super excited until I realized I could not draw my bow out the front three windows.....!! I had to rotate the blind 90 degrees so I could shoot out of the blind long ways and it essentially turned it into a one man blind. That’s disappointing. I wish the base was 5’ in depth instead of 4’. But the blind is super solid and well built
I can’t pull my bow and I only have a 26.5” draw I don’t even have that long of a pull lol and my bow was shoved into the window and my elbow was on the back wall. It’s extremely roomy tho for one person now that I turned the set up 😂
@@themilkdud8515 I didn't have that issue with drawing the bow for the front windows but I do agree, a 5 foot platform would make it a really solid option.
@@MahoneyOutdoorshow do you not have that problem? Are you sticking the bow out the window then drawing back? Everything I’ve read is you can’t shoot out the middle window without your elbow hitting the back wall
@FullDrawOutdoors I haven't had the issue personally but I stand towards the front wall when I draw. It would definitely help to be 5 feet wide on the base. Other update I have is we left the canvas on from September 2022 through June 2023 and you can definitely see that it faded a bit. That was our fault for not getting it down sooner. But the material is still super tough. Didn't get brittle or anything. I think it's definitely still a great value at 850 bucks the last time I checked the price
Hopefully not too much of a pain to get that corrected... I'll be curious to see how you like it with the swivel seats. I was just going to get a couple of old office chairs to put in there
A request, something that I've been curious about is how well this blind does hiding who is inside of it... would it be possible to get a video from outside the blind, with windows down like you were hunting with someone inside? I feel like this blind lets in a lot of light to be seen through.
I got 1 for 2023 hunt and I love it when you are on the inside you can not be seen on the inside You have to be looking very hard. But when I go i've always have on a black hoodie And the windows behind me or on the side of me. I don't have them all the way open. But we just ordered 2 more for the next hunting season 2024 has plenty of room.
Can we see a video of how it held up over the past year.? That would be great.
Hi, is it rain and waterproof? How does it act with wind? Thank you
Looks nice but I’m wondering how it handles 7 inches of snow on top and the cold weather
We didn't have much snow over the winter so I can't really say on that unfortunately

alotta daylight around floor edges not sealed that well ?
take canvas off, after season. maybe wrap with tarp if you want critters to get use to big object
Which model is this? I see a Q230 ($899) & a Q606 ($1,399) at my local Cabela’s.
Any follow up how it held up over winter
How did the canvas hold up?
do you have an update? Im really considering one of these. I think in the off season I would pull the canvass and the floor.

Now that you’ve had this thing for a couple years, how is the canvas holding up? And I’m serious.

Video was very informative 👍 any info on how it holds up through the winter season?

Can the outer fabric be painted camo? Ideas?
Hadn't thought about that. Not sure if that would affect the integrity of the canvas long term or not. Maybe millenium has a version with camp canvas
How is it holding up with the weather? Wanting to buy one wanna make sure it last

@@wallylamar6941 Yep totally understand that. Yes we shot numerous deer out of it as well as a turkey this past Spring.

Wonder if I could shoot a crossbow out of it... also wondering if you can just take the canvas off after season and store it? Is it easy to remove.
Where in mid Missouri are you from, I'm in Columbia, I'd love to come see it
