I really like the Shadow Hunter blinds, and the outside storm/blackout window is really handy. Also, they are well insulated, I can hunt in a T-shirt in below zero temps, with the small buddyheater on low, have never had to use the high setting
Those hawk blinds are like 4-5k a piece. Shadow hunters for the money are great blinds. They are not scent proof but the window covers for off season are nice. Rodent free too
lol yeah I dumped one accidentally when offloading it! Just bounced! Also busted a window frame on some big oak branches, and man it really held pretty solid! Just needed to put it back in place and drill 2 new holes and it was back to good. They are super tough!! Thanks
Where does the roost pole go inside them and how about the nest boxes for all those eggs?? JTF should have helped you with a farming decision this important.
Looking at one for my in-laws. Lumber is cheaper as you mentioned, however how often would those platforms need to be replaced? I’m not exactly handy, would the steel frame be the better investment?
Well the steel would be the better long term option but it will cost you about a grand more. The treated wood will last a long time, but I can't say how long. I'd guess at least 15 years. Best of luck! Thanks
I have the 360..... Others have too many blind spots. It was worth the Setup of the Panels. After Being in a 360, the others just have too many blind spots for me.
Yeah the 360 is a good choice, glad you like it! I really liked it but we ended up with the banks for several different reasons. But I did like them 360's.
What made you go with the Banks over the 360 blinds ? Seen them both was shying away from banks thought no overhang might compromise with water running down and compromising the window seals or the floor
Main reasons: Banks is roto molded all one piece, no risk of leaking and future damage. The 360 has lots of seams that need caulk and the windows are not as tight and sealed as the banks. I think we got a little better pricing on the banks by buying in bulk as we each bought 3 for a package deal. Also banks had the 4x4 post receivers in place so we could save a lot on diy wood towers for them. Hope that helps, best of luck!
Sounds like you and Phil need to get together and start a blind business. Y’all might actually build the perfect blind that everybody wants. If you do all I want is one for the idea 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yep I totally agree. Things are made more disposable and the quality control has gone way down. IMO.. we can thank govt's for paying people to stay home, and continuing that to this day so it is hard to get good people to work, and then keep the quality high.. Oh yeah, and everyone wants to make 6 figures no matter what the job.. Sorry, I got off on a rant but I think you know what i mean, lol
so says you.. But you know what they say about opinions... some people have a huge respect for wildlife and that passion is not just deer hunting. It goes way beyond that.
I know zero about deer hinting, and I sat here listening to every word. Love this channel

Kapper Outdoors 2.0 Excavation & Land Management, I really enjoyed watching this, so I hit the like button!
I just got a Cage blind with 8’ tower for $1050.00 brand new.
Hands down the best on the market for the money.
Sounds like a good deal for you! Hey as long as it works for you and does what you want its a win!

Yeah, these things are getting really expensive man. We tried to balance the road in free.Aspect with the cost and longevity
Banks are really tough blinds. I think you’ll be happy with them
lol yeah I dumped one accidentally when offloading it! Just bounced! Also busted a window frame on some big oak branches, and man it really held pretty solid! Just needed to put it back in place and drill 2 new holes and it was back to good. They are super tough!! Thanks
Nice blinds, good that you were able to get a package deal.
10-4 they are and thank you! We saved a lot of cash on this deal! Phase 2 starting soon!
Where does the roost pole go inside them and how about the nest boxes for all those eggs?? JTF should have helped you with a farming decision this important.
Those magnets on the windows that you thought held them open are actually for the blind kits for window shades to stick to
cool. I figured they had some use for them!
Banks blinds are my favorite for sure hands down.
Yeah they are great blinds 100%!
@11:47 $1,528 is their retail price? That's $149 more than what Banks sells it for on their site and it's free shipping. Crazy
Everything is crazy expensive these days! Good deals are hard to come by!

which banks blind did you all get?
Ooh! Do they have that new blind smell?
What about auto chicken door. I heard you wife say they were for chickens also.
I own 6 shadow hunters, they last a long time too.
Roger that thanks
Nice chicken coups..😂😅😊
Stryker blinds having sliding windows. Made in Ohio. They are really nice.
Ive been looking at those where I live in MI. Very nice and has sliding windows like you said
Could easily be converted into a chicken coop. Did they have any in blue or yellow? Those colors are pretty dull. 😉😅😅😅😅🐓🐔
Titans are great
Spent half the video talking about how he must have sliding windows and ends up getting hinged lol
Forest for the trees... lol
It's about the big picture..
Dang, I thought these were classy port-a-potties.
lol you laugh but he told me that a couple just bought a banks for an outdoor outhouse!! Hey, whatever works!!
Sounds like you and Phil need to get together and start a blind business. Y’all might actually build the perfect blind that everybody wants. If you do all I want is one for the idea 🤣🤣🤣🤣
lol nice!
I guess his buddy paid for the blinds!
ha ha I wish! We each bought 3 blinds for the initial purchase for our farms.
Other than Banks, which other blinds are rodent and insect proof?
Good question. Any blinds IMO that are typical wood/fiber square doors and windows without seals are not rodent proof.
Let me guess you financed them?
Cash is king
Quality has gone down in pretty much everything

Shadow hunter for the win. Sorry
are blinds really hunting? Get in deer stand.
Deer stands aren’t hunting walk naked and carry a rock.
Hunting with a rock isn’t really hunting. Hunt naked and bare handed.
@@timothymcglothlin4165 get up or ground hunt open air.
Deer hunting is stupid
so says you.. But you know what they say about opinions... some people have a huge respect for wildlife and that passion is not just deer hunting. It goes way beyond that.
Well, you know what they say…..
Agreed! But, I can’t stop doing it. I need therapy!
