The Charles Bronsan Tony Stark unmasked head on this 20th Anniversary Iron Man looks great! I’m not a massive fan of the horned style Helmet, but he’s a good figure, I wonder if a Thor is coming at some point?

I love this Ironman figure because it does give me some Steve Ditko vibes and while I don't have it, I do like the 80 years, AI, Stealth, Silver Centurion, and Modular Ironman more, Still, great review Dan. I do love the nostalgia from this figure.

You know, what's funny is, this Iron Man actually has more new parts in it than both Cap and Hulk combined. He reuses accessories but more parts of him are new while the other two are straight up repaints with new heads. And yet people act like Iron Man is the least worth of the three.

The more I see this Iron Man the more tempted I am to buy it. Still though, the 80th Anniversary Iron Man is still the king as far as I’m concerned. The flat yellow and red are how WE (the reader) saw Iron Man in the comics, but I stand by the belief that this color scheme was a result of the limited printing technology available at the time. Stan Lee was already calling Iron Man “the golden avenger” as early as 1965, so I truly believe that Marvel would have given Iron Man these metallic red and gold colors if the technology at the time had allowed them to.

That's just what I think as well. Still this is good too. Though I still prefer the metallic red and gold

Dan the Man just watched your guest appearance on one of my favorite channels Analog Toys. Didn't know you were a fan of Action Man...Im a huge fan of Gi Joe's cousin across the pond . 1:6 Hasbro is a thing of the past so like you my focus is on 1:12 scale Legends Joes and Black Series! The retro Ironman is dope more streamlined sculpting that the previous release...great review!

Thanks for the review. For the moment I'm passing on this version of Iron Man as I "customized" the A.I. version by painting the arc reactor yellow and the face slits black. I do like this Tony head, but I won't buy it just for that. The only other variants of Iron Man that I'm interested in buying at this point are the classic first appearance, either in gray or gold for Avengers #1, and a new comic-based Hulkbuster.

Fun fact: the iron man figure that is from the 20th anniversary marvel legends wave is the model armor 2 with a pointy mask and a strange nipple he has until the model armor 4 fixed that by removing his pointy mask and his iron nips being placed elsewhere on his armor my guy.

As I said on 'Prime's review - a shame they crafted a new upper torso but put the twinned chest ports in the wrong place - they should be in line with the base of the arc reactor... Also, his underoos should be "trunks", and not "briefs". A nice addition to the Hall of Armour, but it could have been so much better... :)

The un-helmeted head gives Tony a bit of a Deathwish.
Great looking figure. Personally I prefer gold instead of yellow on my Iron Men.
For the price he should include more accessories and hinges in all the hands.

You’ve got Iron Man’s smoke effect on the wrong way, lmao!
The physics doesn’t make sense to have the smoke going forward and not backwards in motion.

I've got Captain and This one but man being honest is not worthy the price they are charging for these figures. Instead of this cardboard card 🙄 they should have gone for a proper diorama, as I still having mine original toybiz , Hasbro is very cheap and yet making prices go higher.
