People need to really look into this closely before commiting! The store might make $$$$$$ but again at the end of the day HOW MUCH $$ do you take home?
in my area, there are 2 stores that do over $1,000,000 in reported gross store revenues, I get the data from a subscribed database. I willpost here what the top grossing UPS stores are in the entire USA as soon as I pull it, if anyone is interested.
There are over 13 UPS Store franchises that are doing OVER 2.5 million a year, in the whole US, the 3 biggest grossing (Over $8 millions) locations are in Punta Gorda, FL - Atlanta, GA and Milan, IA
My understanding is that UPS corporate has the right to poach business customers from its franchise locations. Because they have all the shipping data, they contact frequent shippers directly and offer to serve them with a UPS driver instead of going to the UPS store. In essence, the franchisor steals the best shipping customers from its own franchisees.
@@SonnySinghGlobal We pulled the transactions from different sources including a data provider that report on small business and franchise sales. They include what the SDE and EBITDA was for each transaction. Are you seeing something different on your end?
UPS Stores might not make it in the long run. Mailbox rentals that were $100 to $200 a year have suddenly jumped to $300 to $450 a year. If that's how they plan to keep the doors open, forget it. No one is going to pay that.
@@Vettedbiz Yes, I have used UPS stores for several years. I used to renew for three or four years at a time, now they only offer three month, six month, and one year rentals. A medium box I use went from $98 to $130 to $220 to $380 this year. This will be the last year.

Wow, great insights! Any idea if that is in the FDD or the operations manuel?
it has been like that from the beginning!
This is correct.
What are the stores that generated the multiples you spoke about towards the end? Thank you
The data has been anonymized but I should have the state atleast
@@Vettedbiz I don’t follow

@@Vettedbiz makes sense, but where are these listed? The video covers ups but not the better franchise mentioned at the end.
Great insights!

really have you been watching the news lately
I debated adding in the strike information. I don't think it will have a long term impact on the franchise business
@@Vettedbizgood call, they gave workers a raise and strike was called off
@@Kelvin_-qs3uz Thank God for the workers, owners and us (the consumers)

$130k x 3= $390k not $490k
Thanks for catching my mistake.
$390k
