My father gave one of his grandson’s the world. The POS ran my father’s business into the ground. No apology. Lazy and greedy! Thank god my father is still alive and well into his 80’s brought his business back. How anyone could treat someone so loving and generous in such a manner is beyond my ability to understand. My entire family turned on me over a will. They killed my mother and father in law after they were exposed as child abusing freemasons. All because I was the only one in my family who is a decent human being. I lost two houses and over a million in life insurance through destruction and forgery of wills. Police refuse to investigate as the perpetrators are freemasons.

    • @Zarathustran

If your father got it back then he didn't give shit to anyone, and pretending he had just to exploit the grandson who apparently wasn't building anything for himself during that wasted time probably accounts for the lack of an apology LMFAO. Why didn't he pick any of the other grandchildren? And why do you not think picking one wasn't abusive to the others? He picked the brightest most capable one to set up and make a failure of because his own ego was threatened. And your whole family are bought into it because you're terrified it will be one of you otherwise.
Family businesses are inevitably one man shows children and grandchildren who haven't been encouraged to develop their own interests develop an interest in as a way of flattering a dismissive parent or grandparent for approval. If he instructs his executor or your trustee to do anything other than liquidate the company and distribute equal portions to his children after doing whatever generation skipping grandchildren benefits he wants to take advantage of he WANTS you guys fighting over it. Which it sounds like has already begun. Vocal as you are it's probably one of your own children who will weasel his way in there and end up fucking it up worse for the rest of you even with the honest one's share you're talking shit on kept for yourselves.
Seems like he's abusing his children by currying favor and creating havoc among his grandchildren to me. You guys are their parents but the financial dependency or expectation he's created in his children is allowing him to use your own children as instruments of his abuse against you. He's humiliating you because he doesn't care about anyone but himself and planning to make a clean getaway by walking the check on at least someone if not most everyone. Fighting over his estate will make you look greedy and leave a favorably sympathetic legacy bigger than himself in people's minds at all of your expense. Fixed narcissistic religious or political delusions do not meet the standard for delusion debility or dementia to declare the old fucker non compos mentis in most jurisdictions and there's probably a challenge clause in his will anyway but anyone with any sense knows his business is worth more with him in it so if he didn't liquidate as part of his own exit plan it's never occurred to him to get you guys the most value. He gets the most value out of using it against you guys as a way of preventing those of you who might do anything else from outshining him in that way and you've already had a front row seat to what he does to ensure whoever has a prayer of outshining him in his own show doesn't, duh.
Even if you guys can find a reason he's fucked you all up too badly by manufacturing enmity with favoritism to trust one another to unanimously petition to have his will set aside and go with equal shares under the laws of intestacy, huh? He's loving all your kids courting his favor because it doesn't even occur to him that they should have any ambition of their own (or your own) other than to pursue HIS interest. Everything in reference to him, like an infant perceives a world in which everything happens to, for, because of, or as prompted by them. That shit ain't no motherfucking picnic.

Enjoy while you have time. You only live once.

Inheritance. The scourge of families. My narcissist mother tried playing my brother & i against each other. I refused to participate and went no contact with her ( having had a lifetime of her abuse and finally woken up). My greedy brother jumped right in, got her to sign power of attorney in return for looking after her. A few years later she had a stroke and my brother refused totake her in ( as per their agreement) and dumped her in long term nhs care ( to preserve his inheritance). Didn’t do him much good. He contracted a slow killing cancer for which there is no cure. By which time he had alienated all of his children and grandchildren. All through greed.

Of course, it doesn't justify his actions, he will live with that forever. I hope I'm right. He lived with his grandfather since he was 2 years old.. 😢 it can unfortunately be, that he just couldn't care less, and he was totally involved into the murder and cashing up. Exactly like the Swedes and other burning Quran and being scared of the book without ever trying to know what’s written in it. It’s you that’s scared of a book without ever finding out what’s in it. We Muslims are far more enlightened. The very Quran tells us verse after verse to read and explore and verify by using our intellect and to learn. Yet still some barbarian that has only come out of a bush and a forest in last few hundred years would rather want to burn it. These barbarians might have walked out of a jungle but the jungle with all its savagery still resides in them. How low on intellect can a bunch be that can’t grasp the fact that Quran is merely a book, burning it will not make the message go away. ………….Feel like I just wasted five minutes of my life ….
