I used to work at Fox Factory and there are large pictures of the full size race truck all over that place. They brought in the "pre-runner" version once, it was super cool!
This thing is awesome, the UDR is easily my favorite Traxxas vehicle! Funny though, I've driven many but havent pulled the trigger because of the handling. Just too much to spend on a vehicle I know I wouldn't ultimately be happy with.
@@JohnDoe-ig6pcFair enough, lol! I'm trying to say I love the looks and scale performance of the truck but for the money I wouldn't buy one. Mostly, because I don't like how it is on high grip surfaces and its tendency to roll over. I think I would get bored with having to take it easy.
I have the FOX Edition & LOVE it but I also just bought the LAST RIGID Edition (Red/Black) a few weeks ago FACTORY SEALED for $595!!! 😁 Traxxas discontinued the RIGID ONE, so you CAN'T buy it anymore! Thx for your video Mark one the awesome UDR! 👍
I love the ideas of the underglow lights for the 4tec. Just wish they made one set and you could change the colors on it. I don't feel like it would cost them much more to produce either with how readily available led strips are these days.
You have to turn it with the throttle, just like a real Trophy Truck. Make the rear end slide around the corner. Or get the optional rear differential. Best Traxxas truck in my opinion.
Kevin Talbot upgraded the sway bars and it helped tremendously on turns…didn’t roll nearly as much. I just got a UDR also…..doing a few upgrades and gonna run it! Sweet video
Officially off the Wants List and moved to the Needs List. Scratch that, THE NEEDS LIST. Merry Christmas to me!! WOW!!! Like you I'm not a brasher. I like to drive them like you did on the track. The slow mo really shows it working well. IMO it needs a little heavier oil and spring to get the most from it. On my way to the Hobby store now!!
hope they come out with some underglow for other cars, theres some for the mini maxx so Im holding out hope for the xmaxx and maxx to get some! I already run some cheap amazon underglow on some of them and its pretty sweet!

I need all these people buying them to fall out of love with them fast so I can scoop them up cheap 😂 I’ve built most of mine or bought them used cheap for the most part. Couple brand new sliders along the way too. I’m at 27 udr’s with 3 more planned 😂
I don't care how much you Traxxas lovers want to boast this truck, the fact you can't turn it without rolling it is ridiculously unrealistic. The way pro drivers pitch around the rear end of a desert truck on ALL surfaces, including pavement, makes this kind of a joke.
that dude at the end can drive an rc car!!
🚘😎🍻
🔥🔥🔥😅
Jared Wiggins #19 in the world ;)
The rare Kevin has appeared! Lol
Agreed! Very enjoyable video! Fingers crossed Kev I've got my eye on a couple of your RC's 🤞

I personally think that the udr is one of the best 💯💙
Dude definitely if you drive the UDR scale it’s the ultimate Rc Experience 🚘💯
So powerful, it handles amazing
One of the best RC UA-camrs.
Thank you sir!

They break every time, I think I have successfully gone through a battery pack twice without mine breaking.
Ricky Bobby was sick at the end.
Love this truck. Insane rc. Suspension is so flush and awesome. Just a pain to wrench on. Great Video, good Job Traxxas 👍👍👍
Omg the pro driver at the end made it look easy to drive around that track. Mad Respect

I picked up a original Traxxas OBA system and duct taped the drivers to the body of my Udr, BEST MOD IVE EVER DONE !!!
Didn't you already have a Fox UDR? I have the blue one. I think they discontinued the red Rigid one.
Love that RC - UDR is under rated 🎉

Kevin who ??
@ never heard of Kevin Talbot? Huge RC UA-cam channel….lol
If I get a UDR can I do a lot of upgrades to it?
Awesome 👌 truck, mark excited see u get vigilante, and losi super baja Rey 2.0
Orange, purple and green lights would look great. I personally would go with purple though.
Would say it needs a diff for the tighter turns and a slightly heavier shock oil to slow the shock compression.
yes a diff for sure, i dont know why its locked when all it seems to do it make it roll over easy
@@harlyquinThe real truck that it's modeled after doesn't have a diff in the rear.
@@bazis98 not everything needs to be identical like it dosent have inflatable tyres either
Love the mustang!!!!
Thanks for the shoutout Mark!
Billy, you still making and selling those stands? I was looking for one. Thanks.
That Pro can drive really well huge difference 😂 Sorry Mark 😂🎉
ouch... hahaha
Nice driving their Wiggins

I heard the pain in your voice when you flipped in the parking lot 😂 I can relate 🥲
Excellent video ❤
Just picked one up for my boys for Christmas🎄 years of waiting to get one ,just right timing with the sale👍🏻👍🏻 great vid👊🏼
When I had a UDR, I ran it on 6s. It spent as much time on its lid as on its wheels. Fantastic looks, and suspension though.
Great video again as always... Do you think or expect traxxas to release an Ultimate Stampede?
Awesome videos for sure
Really nice car cool video brother
Another instant click MSM classic
I just ordered one too Mark👍👍
So sick! Do you plan on attending SIC in a month?

Love the udr. Now try it with a Mojave 6s
There awesome the Udrs but that’s to much to work on lol have a good Christmas man.
Oh man Mark I need that stand for my UDR plus my fav car to play with the suspension is rediculous ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Mark what's up with the podcast man ? not doing it ? can only find the pilot episode
i have too many irons in the fire... its coming back ;)
@ totally understandable man. Cant wait for it to come back tho
I got one on sale! New favorite!
I like the rigid one. Fox is cool I just like the black and red Hahaha
I love this car super dope dude wish i had the cash to get one but ill prolly never get it nice vid mark
i love watching your videos
thank you!
Do the 2 tires on the back work?
Yes. They are real spares, and it even has a real spare center driveshaft on the back as well.
Yeah, righr
I miss my blue UDR... 😢 but I always get distracted by shiny things 😅

Mark is going to look back at this in 2027 and go ahh.
Always wanted a UDR but here in aus they're well over 1k 😫. No Traxxas warranty either or sales 😥. Maybe someday 🤷🤞
Should i get a Maxx Slash or UDR ?????
UDR for sure!

hahaha... its my inner sneakerhead coming out. Sneakers are colorways.
@MarkSantaMaria legit man...
love em so much I have 2 of them lol
I wished they tried harder on the max slash ☹️
if the locked rear diff makes it roll easy then why does it have a locked rear diff?
Debating on this or XMAXX since both of them or on sale !!!! I have a Super Baja Rey and a XRT already DECISIONS!!!!!
Keep in mind the UDR isnt really a basher with its details, so depends what you want, scale racer or basher
Sledge
xmaxx if you want to get rough with it.
Says none in stock 😢
I've wanted one of these. But after the first time it rolls, I would go back to my mojave
I litterally went about 30 ft before i flipped mine... haha
Mojave on 6s rips but the scale effect of the UDR is where it’s at.
🎉🎉🎉🎉
My favorite tv car I wish mine didn’t burnt down daamn j’me one day I will be able to repair it
