Sup Mark! I am in my 3rd day of the sheds cleanout here at the house. I am relocating all the crap my father filled my workshop with (mainly his giant cardboard box collection and plastic container collection). So far I have freed the RC storage shelf and the floor. Tomorrow I have to free up the tool and parts shelves and the work bench. Then FINALLY, for the first time in 10 years, I will be able to do RC again....
I had a mini shreddy this summer that if I remember correctly was made by pro boat. My buddies kid really loved it and wanted to drive it every time we went to the lake at the RV park. The hobby shop wasn’t getting them in stock. I actually got kinda bored with it (I’m more of an RC car guy) so my buddy bought it off me for his kid. This one looks awesome. Kinda looks like a racing pontoon boat. 😂
It's the human in the boat that made it goofy. Whenever companies add characters/figurines into hobby grade RC products, it makes them feel more "toyish" and less serious. I think the boat by itself looks pretty cool! Same goes for RC cars and planes.
You have to look at these as a large Waverunner that you sit in and drive rather than on and ride. The impeller works the same way, all the driving dynamics are the same, the shape and dimensions are similar, and just like a real Waverunner, you can only turn on throttle.
Mark,, please tell me you not out of the rc loop this bad.lol Blake Wilkey jet boat. The first edition is a self righting shreddy prop boat. I firmly suggest you review it also for the the non boat guys.
The only goofy thing about it is the price tag. They go for 620€ in Germany which is pretty expensive for a slow boat like that. The Recoil 2 goes for 420€ for comparison. Fun boat for sure.
Mark you should check out the proboat horizon harbor tugboat. It's like a crawler of rc boats and comes with arms to grab and push non self righting boats when they flip over. It's pricy and slow but scale and useful. I think it looks cool going around at dusk
It’s pretty cool but is funky looking i don’t have any boats at all and I’d still love too get the Traxxas blast but this boat seems like a pool boat it’s cool but very limited too we’re you want too rip it. Happy boating man. I’m gonna stick to ground vehicles for now.
Are you using the 3rd channel servo for the reverse bucket? You engage that and pull throttle to accelerate not push like you would an rc car for reverse.
The pump system is a little weak in my opinion. I put screws through the housing to hold and align the shaft tube and installed the metal impeller. Now I chew up anything that sucks up,spit it out and keep rippin. It takes me about 15 minutes to remove the pump and grease the shaft with a dewalt drill,not a big job and the shaft holds enough grease for probably a dozen runs or so. Other than that don't hit anything solid wide open or you will be repairing the hull. My trim tabs broke off first run but I used shoe goo to mount them and haven't had an issue since. The lights are also handy when you sink it in a raging river and it's stuck 5 feet under a log jam lol It took me about 45 minutes to recover the boat,still on,running,my buddy drove it back to the beach for me after I got it out😂 great boat,I don't care what anybody says
This is a very fun boat to drive but they didn’t use strong enough plastic. Everything is glued together and is kinda brittle plastic. They put a skid plate on it like it’s a basher but it’s not. They could have a great basher/stunt boat if they make it stronger. As it is, it’s frustrating because you have to be careful with it. Mine flipped in a stream and the light bar broke off, cage broke, trim tab broke. Arrma needs to make this boat
Thought you were a Cleetus fan Mark? He has a ton of videos with boats like this. Usually powered by a supercharged jet ski engine and he uses it to skip across land through the Florida marshes and jump trees that had fallen in the water.
Real boats in real life. Check out Torch Craft Marine. Mine river jet boats powered by turbocharger Sedoo jetski engines. They are all aluminum. Pretty sewat.

The boat is a mini jet boat like the ones Cleetus owns and does some radical river runs up rapids through the canals all round Florida. Maybe a little research before unboxing and recording the reveiw, it is fun where there are weirs rapids natural and man made, I do not have one as there is knowhere local without an hour plus journey to use one, and like my foray into helecopters I would probably sink it as I did with the helicopters I had.
You couldn’t be more wrong! If you knew anything about jet boats you would have a different opinion. This is a really detailed fully functioning replica of a bad ass custom jet boat.

This boat feels insanely fast when in a river with rocks and small falls. It’s absolutely nuts on 4s.

I’ve never been able to capsize mine on my lake. Flat water best because of the water intake.

There's nothing goofy about the way those boats can get around the courses they run.
Most jet boats I see have half windshields and no roof so maybe that's why it's funky looking, needs some cutting..
