People should compare this press conference and the press conference after the French of 2011 to Roger Federer's. Novak shows utmost class in both the loss and the win. Federer shows absolutely no class in his press conference.

Da Skillet novak is a Fcking robot compared to the elegant Federer. He is done at 30. Will take rest of season off like Federer. Hahaha dont make me laugh. Like hes got the talent to come back. Well hè is 5 years younger ill give HIM that but I dont think hè Will win another slam tho.

TheEclectic If we are talking press conference of Novak handled himself better. He won. Fed lost a heartbreaker. If you were a Fed fan, you would feel the fraction of what he was feeling. We can counter argue that Novak’s stunt with the crowd and interrupting Fed’s serve was not cool. The server controls the pace.
This was a great match that should be appreciated by fans. This was two legends going toe to toe. Great stuff

The crowd was against him when he was young and played against the champions.
Now when he is the champion, crowd is on the side of young ones.
Not only he had to play against opponents, he played against the crowd his all carrier.

As much as I'm a huge fan of Fed's play style and love to watch him play (much more than Djokovic), one can't help but notice that Djokovic is just stronger mentally and that's why he won. There's no other answer.
If Roger realizes and admits he has a weakness in his mental game then he can work on it and win more slams. Otherwise, he'll probably continue losing in semi finals and finals...

Hate when ppl compare, Roger Federer has done much in his career and it isn't over, Novak Djokovic's star is on the rise and he's winner titles and he has a long way to go before you can compare. You can't compare careers at different moments, there is no point. Novak won b/c he won and that is it, its not the crowds fault for noise, we are talking about a sporting event ppl!!! The same crowd was in Novak's ear as was in Federer's... Great game, can't wait for the finals.

@djoinochi So you're saying that Djokovic took a chance and went to that shot. If he was taking a chance, then that means there is a probability that he may be wrong. He made a risky decision that he has no control over the outcome and he was successful, so isn't that luck?
But i get what you're trying to say lol. IMO, there was some luck involved, because Djokovic had to make a prediction of Federer's serve. However, it takes skills and nerves to take the right risks.

the only difference between federer and djokovic is that one of them is the winner and for the winner it's always easy to say something good. so, don't blame roger for being disappointed and not in a good mood after he lost the last chance for a grand slam title this year. and in the end roger was always kind and respectful to his opponents as well as novak.

@ivansofun Nole, of course. An arrogant man with the ego the size of Asia, Rogi doesn't want Rafa to increase his GS count.

to be honest you should all just place yourself in the players position and understand what is going on. Novak is relaxed of course he just won what else. Roger had 2 match points and still lost, of course that is a massive downer and you ask yourself questions. I am sure none of you talking here would be able to keep your interview as calm as Roger did. and the lucky shot thing, it's part of sports. just enjoy the sport!

@overratednadal at least he congratulated nadal whether he lost or won. and when nadal and the rest of the players ask for medical help, it is always for real?
just admit - djokovic is far above nadal this year.
speaking of rafa, i am great admirer of his, not the fan. for me he is even greater than federer, mainly because of his behaviour on and off the court. he acts like true champion. but at the moment djokovic is at the top of the tennis world. how long will it last, nobody knows..

Some, and let me emphasize SOME, of Roger Federer's fans are still in denial that he's already at the twilight of his career and that he is no longer on top of his game. Hence, they have this tendency to be hard losers like Roger himself. Too bad! Anyways, CONGRATS Nole and good luck on your Finals against Rafa. :))

@CLaU1619 u r just sain that GOAT just throw the semi final match?plz trown ur self trough window. what i meant, after losein 2 match points,if he was so much better then novak, then why he dindt do same thing as novak?get back to the match and won?there is no luck,if u r better than some1u r going to win.this year novak is the best and thats the fact! calling some1 lucky or unlucky in sport is retarded. lets say novak was lucky on that point, but thats just one point, novak won 2 gems after that

Of course - the joker would've smiled the whole day long after such a disappointment in Federers' place, praising his opponent 'til his knees were bleeding and calling the all-or-nothing return never as it was - a lucky shot - because he is the greatest gentleman (not to say diplomat) on earth ...
... do you really believe in what you write here??? Then I recommend you the next psychotherapist to cure your latent self-deception!

@danguba You must have only recently started watching tennis, for Djokovic was always the sore-loser, especially in his close losses to Nadal during the clay-court season of '09. In the semi-finals of Roland Garros 2008, I remember Djokovic saying that Nadal was lucky to win the 3rd set in his post-match conference. And I don't even want to begin with his mother's antics of publicly declaring "the king is dead" after Djokovic beat Federer in the Semis of the 08 Aussie Open.
