I lost any respect left for Nadal this year. Instead of supporting a fellow during the Australia debacle he blamed Novak for "his actions".
Beside I start to think that Nadal is fake as f word. He accused Novak of being obsessed with records when he felt that Djokovic had a slight advantage in slam race. This year after winning AO he started to say:" Of course I want to win most slams." Hypocrite !
Definitely!
Murray also said Djokovic's actions had consequences and he had to assume that Lol And Murray is Djokovic's buddy, so what the fuck are you talking about lol
Used to be a Nadal fan but the way he behaved by bitching against Novak during the AO last year he lost me. Djokovic showed to be a principled man that risked losing his legacy because of that tyrannical and baseless demand to be vaccinated. Brave man with balls of steel.
I 100% agree that Nole might be the best player to ever step on court and a charismatic guy over all. But, don't let that obscure the facts, COVID killed almost 7 milion people and dealt a heavy damage to world economy, so, demanding vaccination to foreigners is not tyrannical nor baseless and Nole was aware that his choice of being a anti-vaxx might have dire consequences to his career.
Oh,.someone seems sure about the COVID "facts" bravo
@@caiogoncalves6103 Yes Clearly, he has balls of steel and you just validated that. Yet you pick up BS stats provided by our owners. And I understand why you believe and peddle that, but not me sorry
@@caiogoncalves6103 Is there really anyone who still believe in WHO's stats? We don't believe China on anything, but in COVID we trust. The fact that Nadal finally won only his 2nd Australian Open 13 YEARS after his first one while Djokovic was banned from playing speaks volumes. Djokovic isn't scared of Nadal even on clay. But Nadal is absolutely TERRIFIED of him outside of clay. He doesn't want the beating he got at the Australian Open in 2019.
The beating Djokovic got the next season in RG 2020 was way worse lol
Nadal winning his 2nd AO after 13 years when Djokovic was banned speaks volumes hmmm... I guess Djokovic winning his 1st RG after 12 tries the only year Nadal had to withdraw from the tournament due to injury..... too.

@@tomasalaxa3489 Djokovic beat Rafa at RG in 2015, the worst season and level of his career and in 2021 in one leg with an injury that kept him 6 months out of the tour. Go ahead and feel very proud of those wins 🤣🤣🤣
He's never beaten Djokovic at AO but he's done it at USO, twice, both in the final. Still hard court 🤩
@@rafagoat575 Did you watch that match? The intensity of the match was one of the highest in history. Please do not make excuses. Again, I want to see their match this year in Milan and next year anywhere. The more the better. Djokovic is ready. What about Rafa and you???
Rafa showed his true colours at Wimbledon 2018 by complaining about the roof after losing a close 5 setter to Novak. The worst part is not that he complained, but rather *why he complained. Nadal didn't want the roof open because he plays better. No. He wanted the roof open so that Djokovic would play worse. That gives us some insight into how his mind works. That's also why I wasn't surprised by his betrayal of Novak at the '22 AO. It should be crystal clear to everyone by now that Nadal needs things done on his terms. He saw Novak's deportation from Australia as a good thing....an opportunity to take the slam lead. Now he just looks like a fool.
Nadal will never be the GOAT.. spineless person
and another mysterious injury at US Open 2018 just before he would have faced Novak
And now his career is over and Djokovic can still win a slam or 2 to take the lead.
Luckily, karma bit Nadal here if we're being honest
Closed roof favors flat hitters like Djokovic and Federer. Don't give me the crap that a good player should play in all conditions. Yes, good player must play in all conditions but that conditions shouldnt favor one player over the other.
Nadal hasn't beaten Djokovic outside of clay in almost a decade, wow. Also, the comparisons of Monfils vs Djokovic against the Nadal & Djokovic (on hard courts) was beyond eye opening!!!
You're comparing a player who's never beaten Djokovic, let alone on hard court , with Nadal who's beaten Djokovic on hard courts 7 times (just one less than Djokovic has beaten Nadal on clay) including 2 slam finals (only player to ever do so), M1000 wins, beat him at Olympics, etc
Beyond eye opening! 🤣🤣🤣

Since Djokovic and Federer have figured out how to beat Rafa, Rafa has had zero answers. Zero.

And yet the media vilifies Djokovic for withdrawing from matches, labeling him as a "quitter." How sad.
I love ppls double standards, retiring during a match is quitting but retiring before even playing is not ? Its just funny hahaha, like if anything going out there and trying shows more courage than retiring before the match even starts
Please show me when Djokovic was labelled a quitter in the last 10 years. He was labelled a quitter early on his career rightly so when he used to pull out of matches with lame excuses and minor physical problems. You Djokovic fans need to stop with this victim mindset
@@R3L1KZ it does happen still. The specialty now is to speak kind of positively about his fitness today, but to subtly remind the audience of his past withdrawals.
Nadal’s fans know that Nadal isn’t the goat. They’re just too emotional to admit it. I’m a physician and I’ve seen some of the injuries Nadal has complained of end other athlete’s careers or at the very least prevent them from being their best again (look at Murray and Thiem). Yet somehow whenever Nadal is injured, he comes back stronger and better than before and this has happened over a dozen times. It just isn’t natural. I will give you credit on this one for pointing it out.
The only athlete in human history who suffered injuries early in his career, continued to abuse his body with the most physical style, and never dropped a level in 20 years despite being injured every year.
The levels of denial are comical.
Nadaltards called that "sheer will and warrior mentality". Everyone else in the world calls it 💉💊😂
@@catspaw7366 I think people, Nadal's fans, are simply brainwashed by the Media. You can still like the person, and be a fan of his tennis if you wish, but it's nice not to be brainwashed and think for ourselves.
I used to be a Nadal fan as I admired the fighting spirit and once you start following someone is hard to keep the objectivity. Same as a football fan accepting dirty play from your team yet cry wolf if the referee misses any foul on your team. Thank God for the virus as that has opened my eyes what kind of a person Nadal was. In 2018 I had the pleasure to see Nole on the Practice court at the AO with Andre/Stepanek Coaching session. That is the clearest fact , as clear as daylight, Claydal fans will never admit though 😂
Since 2011, Nadal's record against Djokovic on clay is 12-8 and of those matchups have been really close. Djoker is the only player who can outlast Nadal on clay while dominating him on other surfaces. Unlike his rivalry with Federer where there is a five year age difference, Djoker is a year younger than Nadal and they have both played each other at the prime of their careers.

Novak has won yet another AO. He literally demolished the competition, to put it mildly.. There's also one unsurprising thing waiting to happen in the future; seeing Rafael healthy as a horse for the next RG.
I agree. He avoided Federer very much on hardcourts. That’s the only reason he has a winning record . Fed was consistently making clay finals and losing to Nadal but Fed was also making a lot of hard court finals but Nadal rarely making the finals so they played more rarely on hardcourt.
Look at him vs Novak and Roger. More than half of Novaks gram slam matches been at the French.

@@jonaschilonga81 Exactly, Wimbledon 2022, Rafa is one match away from playing a Wimbledon final for the first time in more than 10 years. He needs to beat Kyrgios whom he's beaten in his previous three meetings, including one at Wimbledon. But he's not even thinking about that, all he's worried about is the possibility of losing to Djokovic in the final. So he didn't even try, fuck it, he faked an injury in the quarterfinals, serving considerably slow throughout the match (abdominal), something even Fritz pointed out in his press conference, managed to win that match and then withdrew before the semis, just to avoid Djokovic in a potential final.....
....this makes a lot of sense considering the last time Rafa and Djokovic met at Wimbledon in 2018 Djokovic won 10-8 in the 5th in an extremely tight match where Nadal had break points to serve it out LOL

To summarize it for everyone:
GOAT discussions became irrelevant to Federer fans once their deity Federer got surpassed in almost every relevant record out there. Now all they want to talk about is just gentlemanlinessnessness
For Nadaltards, they love to nitpick things here and there like the 1 slam lead, an olympic medal that has no ATP point whatsoever and a team tournament like the Davis Cup. They don't want to mention that Nadal is far behind in total Weeks at #1 (almost 3 and a half years behind Djokovic lol), No ATP Final title. ZERO. BIG O. Djokovic has 5 of them. Nadal cannot even win all the Masters. Djokovic won all 9, the bonus is he won them at least twice. Also Nadal is 2 years behind in YE#1. Did Nadal win 80+ match wins in all four slams? No. Djokovic did, and he did that at the age of only 35. Did Nadal win all four majors at once across three different surfaces? No. Djokovic did. The funny thing is Nadal got his chance to win all four slams this year but he blew his chances by being a rat and coward at this year's Wimbledon 🤣.
Every Nadaltard has one thing in common and that is to nitpick just like their idol 🤣

Every tennis player will have some "stains" in their carrer. The biggest stains you could have are: not winning certain tournaments, inabillity to win against certain opponents and inabillity to close the matches when you are couple of points away. Of course Novak, Nadal and Roger besides this types have other stains in their carrer. But if the player is continously doing the same thing over timespan of his carrer in the most convinient moments, it would be too much to call that coincidence. I think you are on to something.

I don't completely disagree. Although I suspect it is more Nadal quitting when slightly injured to avoid playing Federer and Djokovic while not fully healthy when he would play others rather than faking injuries.
But Federer has literally been skipping Roland Garros and often other major clay tournaments for years. It's hard to see that as not Federer deliberately avoiding playing Djokovic and Nadal on clay.

@@mrhatman675h2h. 4:4. In finals 1:0 i think you know for who 😊
Federer went to four French finals. Beat Nadal and Djokovic on clay to stop their record streaks. No doubt owned Roger on clay like everyone else. As Fed got older it wasn't worth the punishment on his body.
Federer only skipped the clay in 2017-2018. He played full schedules until he got hurt in 2016. In 2016 he still played on the clay but was still not 100% healthy. 2016 French Open was the first time he ever missed a slam which ended his record at the time for most consecutive slams. Then 2017-2018, he skipped it to save his body which worked out for him. 2019 he played the clay. 2020 he got hurt again and pandemic. 2021 he still played the clay even with no crowd. Then we never saw him again.
So only 2 healthy seasons he skipped the clay. If Roger was avoiding Nadal, he would've done it in the 2000s. Why wait 16 years into his career. He could've pulled out of the 2019 French Open SF but he didn't. We all knew he'd lose but he still faced him and gave his best effort.

When someone says Rafa is not great on grass, his fans say the same thing: “Rafa beat Federer at Wimbledon”.
1 win does not make you great on a surface. From 2012-17, he never got far enough at Wimbledon to face one of his rivals. Both Federer and Djokovic would have battered him in straight sets any of those years. Federer and Djokovic are much better than him on grass and Djokovic is much better than him on hard court. You could make the argument that peak Rafa is better than peak Federer, but that is a weak argument because no player is at their peak all the time.
@@viksinha5410 It's not just that Rafa beat Federer at Wimbledon, he beat him in his absolute peak when he was invincible on grass for 5 straight years lol unlike Djokovic who started beating Federer on grass when the Swiss was 34+ years old lol

@@rafagoat575 Ok so he and Novak played a very close match in 2018, but what about all the other years that I mentioned? And even in 2019 he got beaten so easily by Federer; as a Federer fan, I have never felt less nervous watching him play against Rafa. Rafa hasn't been in a Wimbledon final since 2011 (which is also, by the way, the last time Federer was in a French Open final) and hasn't won it since 2010. He isn't even top 5 on grass, like Federer isn't even top 5 on clay.
@@viksinha5410 I think Fed is top 5 of his generation on clay, for sure. Probably top 10-15 all time. He’s made 5 finals, winning one. All his losses to Nadal. He has also made 3 sf, losing to Nadal twice and Djokovic once. As Fed fan, I think Djokovic is more willing to change his approach on clay against Nadal than Fed was. This has led to him beating Nadal twice at RG. Nadal beating Fed at Wim 08 is a great achievement, no question, but it was an incredibly narrow win. Fed was also 1-13 on break points in that match. A pattern of non-conversion that plagued him throughout his career. All credit to Nadal becoming a great all court player but I would still give Djokovic and Fed the edge outside of clay. That being said, Nadal could surprise both of them on their preferred surface on any given day especially when 100% healthy.

Nadal will play French Open this year despite his so called 'injuries'. All this while, he has been endlessly talking about pills and painkillers. Fact is he is not the same force as Djokovic except on Clay. And in a year, Djokovic will completely distance himself from all other lesser players.
good prediction bro, Nadal withdrew from french open due to injury my clever friend. making assumptions and consider them facts, seems like a kind of logic you share with the maker of this video.
This video is just brilliant and factual. Nadal knows very well even now that he avoids Novak on purpose and sometimes deliberately. Nadal only stands a chance to beat Novak on clay court. Nadal has not beaten Novak on hard courts in almost a decade (yes a decade or almost 10 years). I can't disagree with this video. It is due to such videos that you can't pick Nadal over Novak when it comes to the GOAT debate. Whenever he wins then he is fine, once he loses or starts losing injuries manifests. No balance in my view.🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Rafa made 6 AO Finals, Novak 6 FO Finals. Rafa made 5 or more GS Finals at every slam and is the youngest in history to win all four slams. Most of the 9 slam finals vs Djokovic were hardcourt, Rafa still leads. More USO too, beat him 2 of 3 hardcourt Finals USO. Rafa has winning record against Federer on hardcourt at slams

@@Raju-bf5ox one Big difference, Novak Never run From Nadal even when he had knew it was hopeless. That is the whole point of this video. Nadal is running away both from Novak and from Roger since 2013.
Very good video and I'm glad you brought this up. One thing that drives me absolutely crazy that nobody talks about is that Federer actually leads Nadal H2H on hard courts and grass courts. When comparing Nadal and Federer, Nadal fanboys always bring up how Nadal leads Federer H2H, but they never take into account that the vast majority of his victories against Federer have been on clay, so it distorts the H2H in Nadal's favour, when Federer actually leads him H2H on two of the three surfaces.
Suspect that Federer also leads indoors as I remember a couple of end of years final spankings, so you can argue 3 out of 4 common conditions Federer leads
Another proof that Drugdal is faking injuries is that, unlike Goatkovic and Federer, he has never left the Top 10 in 17 years. Not a proof of consistency but of dishonesty because you come back more quickly from unexisting injuries. Best youtube channel ever!
Excellent analysis, excellent video!
Thanks for bringing to light what we all know all along.

Excellent view of the facts. Love your clear and factual videos. Thank you
I never liked Nadal and never will. Nadal is so corrupt.
Spectacular Video. Well Done. Please continue making great work
I was a massive Nadal fan but his peak was 2010 us open. His level declined after immediately and Djokovic got immensely better and continues to improve. Since 2011 Nadal has gotten immensely salty and unsportsmanlike as well as becoming a worse player.
Absolutely embarrassing that he played AO when they banned Djokovic that cemented his reputation as someone who will do anything he can to win.
Nadal 2012 AO final was closest he got to beating Djokovic on hard court final GS after 2010. Since then Djokvoic has become much better while Nadal has gotten worse, theres no discussion here.
Great stats and superb presentation.
Love your videos man. Keep it up!
P.s. Novak looks incredible atm. Hopefully he is able to DEFEND his Aussie open title
Nadal is the goat for the moment objectively speaking.
Nadal leads in slams. (22 vs 21)
Djokovic leads in weeks as nr 1.
Nadal leads in h2h in slam-matches.
Djokovic leads in h2h in non-slam-matches.
but i agree with everything else about nadal, he has avoided his rivals on non-clay surfaces

Incredible video! The facts are so glaring. I for one had the feeling he had been avoiding Federer in the last few years but could not dig out the facts like you just did
And they still say “Federer avoided Nadal on clay in 2016-18”
If Nadal faced Federer on grass in any year from 2012-21 (yes I included 2021 because Federer played well for 40-year-old standards) apart from 2013, Federer would batter him. And he did in 2019 while gifting him the second set 😂😂

@@Raju-bf5ox I said he is not good on grass because he has been very inconsistent. As you said, he never reached the final again after 2011, and from then to 2017 he didn’t reach the semifinals. He is much better than most players on grass (most players never won Wimbledon) but he is far behind Federer and Djokovic.

Good video. You gotta do a video more on depth on Nadal's gamesmanship. Like holding up the returner, sore loser, extended grunts, etc.

@@rafagoat575 gracias my loyal peasant for defending me and my constant lies no. I'm still the GOAT though
Dude it is true that obviously Fed and Nole are better than Rafa on hard but the way of interpreting the facts is not correct for me, many times he has decided not to play precisely to save for the clay season, for example, look this year he has decided not to play in Miami, they were neither fed nor Nole, it was simply to dose himself for the clay season, that's why he gets injured a lot less in the clay season. And it seems strange to me to suppose that Rafa retired before his matches when many of them were still a few rounds away from reaching that match, it would not make sense to retire so soon because the other two could lose before that hypothetical meetings. And regarding the last matches in which Rafa has played, he has already been older, he had already lost that speed and resistance that he had years ago to beat both Fed and Nole in grand slam finals, his style has changed and no longer has the ability to beat them playing like that, but I insist that it seems ridiculous to me to think that he is retiring on purpose. It's only my opinion cheers!!
First of all, he still had to face whoever the semifinalist was. It wasn't guaranteed that he would have won to advance to those finals. Another point is that whoever was in the final, most likely going to be one of the top players awaiting the winner of the semi finals. By your reasoning, if he wanted to avoid them, why play the tournament at all? What about the other times he has faced them in the past? It's also no surprise that you are biased and targeting Nadal with your own speculation. You are not objective at all. I remember the tabloids with a bunch of unproven theories. That's who you represent.
In a interview on Rafa's yacht he went crazy to win a ping pong game. The interviewer asked about his intensity..."I always have to Win."
He came close to beating Djokovic in AO 2023. Wait, he lost to someone in the first week. What the hell!
Nadal has played seven matches vs Djokovic at RG in the same half i.e. QF & SF stages, 5:2 Nadal, whereas they have played zero matches at AO and zero matches at USO in the same half i.e. at HC slams.
The reason is pretty simple, Nadal was always in the opposite AO/USO half from Djokovic & Federer 2008-2011, and then Djokovic & Wawrinka since 2013, whereas Djokovic was almost always drawn in Nadal's half at RG when they were not seeds no.1 & 2.
