The blob can not be underestimated. The soldier palmer for the modern age. It is not only the colour also the movement and action of the fritz. That in my opinion is the reason this is soo effective.

this would be a good salmon egg fly for steelhead..the rainbow trout/ steelhead will be just down stream form the salmon, eating the loose eggs that drift downstream
