There is something there I think it's important in order to understand the character... Vasco is not famous for its pitch voice but for what he's saying and the way it does ... Going to his concerts is like going to the theater the difference is that he's real, he doesn't impersonate no one else but him ... He's talking to its audience like your best friend is talking to you, the gesture, the colloquiale sentences and in that moment that your friend has been real with you, maybe after a drink or a few ... He is not singing on the traditional way, he's talking, yelling, laughing, saying jokes and so on, all of this over music, a music played by extremely talented people

For a person who is not Italian it is impossible to understand Vasco's greatness, because they do not know him and have not lived 40 constant years of Vasco's culture and music... Vasco is absolutely unique and pure. He at 101% embodies the motto "sex drugs and rock'n'roll", he is one of the greatest rockers of all time. Even if Vasco has not much following abroad, as a music lover, I can say that Vasco is the essence of rock and embodies it conceptually, spiritually and physically as the greatest foreign rockers of the past and better than many others, he is a great legend. Then you, rightly, do not know him well, but he is really a crazy character from all points of view: funny, goliardic, histrionic, crazy, exaggerated, strange, nice, one of a kind, in his way of thinking, in interviews that releases, his philosophy of life, how he interprets and enjoys / lives rock music. Vasco is the essence of rock, he is rock in the head, in the heart, in the marrow and in the soul, in his way of speaking, in his way of gesturing. His immense personality. His funny way is a bit awkward especially in gesturing with his arms (as if swaying like a drunk) or in walking awkwardly with a swollen belly, his sloppy and wobbly way of posing and moving, his physicality destroyed by the fault of half a century of rock, drugs and excesses of all kinds ... 🤣 (Ozzy Osbourne is a bit of an Italian). Vasco is rock even in his hoarse and trembling voice... He is eternal and inimitable!!! I struggle to find characters like Vasco even abroad, he has a crazy rock charisma and aesthetic. Vasco Rossi in Italy is beyond music: he is something sacred, a culture, a religion, a God, he is a divinity. In Italy Vasco's fans are a tribe, a legion of millions of Italians who follow him everywhere en masse since 1977. Vasco is a way of life.
If I think of bands with the same continuity, power and constancy, hardly anyone comes to mind, I think of Queen, Oasis, muse, Guns n 'Roses, 90s grunge bands, it occurs to me that they are only for a short time these bands, full stadiums for a few years or a few decades. Many of these bands have actually had short cycles, starting and ending in a few years or as little as 1 or 2 decades. Vasco...on the other hand, has been going on like a jackhammer incessantly since 1977, with inimitable constancy of charisma, success and audience following in live shows, and has only gone on with great successes and ALWAYS with concerts in crowded arenas or in immense lawns. Something never seen in Europe. Vasco's concerts can only be conceived in large stadiums or in infinite grasslands. Because every Vasco live concert is a historical event, like a concert at Wembley in London or like a small Woodstock ... every Vasco live is a meeting place for thousands, thousands and hundreds of thousands of people. I don't remember any other European band (or American on tour in Europe) capable of making so much public at every concert and above all of filling stadiums and prairies for so MANY CONSECUTIVE DECADES, without ever a decline. VASCO ALSO HAS MANY ITALIAN-EUROPEAN and WORLD RECORDS. VASCO ALSO HAS THE EUROPEAN AND WORLD RECORD OF MAXIMUM AUDIENCE IN A CONCERT: - "The event, hosted at the Enzo Ferrari park, holds the world record for the concert with the highest number of paying spectators, with 225,173 tickets issued, of which 5,000 are free". (Beating Tina Turner, a-Ha and Paul McCartney). In Vasco's music the repertoire is infinite: rock, hard rock, Rick metal, poprock, pop ... everything. Hard songs, but also ballads, melodic songs and poems. Vasco wrote among the most beautiful and poetic texts of Italian music. Vasco's way of writing texts is very particular: the texts can sometimes be "rough", allusive, "vulgar", harsh and offensive, but always with an ironic and good-natured side. the problems are serious and important most of the time. Other times they can be sweet and poetic texts (of the good Italian tradition, which always pays great attention to the quality and refinement of the texts). Other Vasco songs are very ironic, goliardic, full of funny allusions, puns, really weird stories etc. Vasco's texts are usually very long. And if you notice how he sings ... he looks like he's talking. This is no joke, all Vasco Rossi's musicians are exceptional, among the best to be found in Italy, Europe / world etc. Whether it's backing vocals, bassists, guitarists, drummers and most of all keyboard players, they all have an exceptional quality and enviable experience. They are refined, technicians, all extremely trained musicians, of immense personality on stage, capable of playing anything, any genre, they have exceptional skills of improvisation, great hold and charisma to face very long and exhausting live concerts. They have been doing it for 45 years at this technical and charismatic level. They are monumental, mammoth and superior quality live concerts... a level that is difficult to find .. Vasco Rossi has written among the most beautiful, eternal, magical, poetic, iconic, cult, generational, exciting, moving and powerful Italian (and not only) songs
I saw Vasco live for the first time 23 years ago, I was 16 and I went with my father who is a big fan of Vasco. He is incredibile because at his concerts you can see people of very different ages singing his songs with all the passione they have.
Some Italians are very strange. They can' t forgive the people that reach success and popularity. That's the only reason for their hatred against Vasco. The same thing is happening to Maneskin: a storm of haters that spread shit against them. You are very personable and communicative, see you soon my friend, I hope you' ll post some new Vasco videos.

You're cute when you try reading italian 😁 Anyway, some people hate Vasco because in Italy we have this strange attitude to divide ourselves between two parts...like Guelfi and Ghibellini, Coppi and Bartali, Vasco and Ligabue and so on... We usually fight almost about everything ... Anyway thank you for reacting to Vasco's music. As an Italian born in 1972 my ears have always been listening to his music. If you want to listen to something else you can find 'Un senso' the original video in an Italian Theatre is really moving. Great music and lyrics.

@@likures3033 Måneskin videos are going viral nowadays and sometimes reactors from other countries say "oh! Italian Rock... is that a thing?" And here come suggestions about Vasco and other talented rockers from Italy... Greetings! 👋🇮🇹🖖
Vasco Rossi is a purely Italian phenomenon, and he is much loved, he does not excel for singing skills or for being a show man, but expresses that sense of Italian rock and rebellion of the 80s / 90s / 00s, perhaps even if it is not an exact comparison an italian jim morrison, with an incredible band and lyrics that have made the history of italian music. PS The drummer is american he played with alice cooper
i know that one guitar is american, (Stef Burns) that actually or, better to say before the singer ear disease, played with Huey Lewis, funny thing is that i remember an old interview with Vasco Rossi and on his back was a Huey lewis poster..
I once saw a Vasco concert in a football field in Sabaudia, a small seaside town on the south of Rome. It was in August 13 1985. It was his first tour after being arrested and put in jail for 22 days in 1983 for possession of 26 grams of cocaine. The trial finally clears him of the charge of drug dealing but sentences him to two years and eight months on probation for possession of drugs. Then he was released on bail on April 12, 1984. On that 1985 concert, he sang only the first half of the concert always hanging on the mic stand. On the second half, he never came back on stage. Many call this Vasco's dark period, for me it's just the way he wanted to live his life, like the title of one of his famous songs "Vita Spericolata" (reckless life).
His first albums are from the late 70's and were kind of psychedelic, I think that's the reason why most of the then adults didn't like him: they just didn't understand. He then proceeded to approach a much classic rock sound (btw his original guitarists were MAURIZIO SOLLIERI and MASSIMO RIVA, not metal but definitely the best italian players you could find back in the days..Sollieri is the mind behind all of Vasco's music). In the 90's he started to get closer to a more mainstream sound...and that's why most old fans started to hate him (including me! But doesn't that always happen with rock bands? I can think of at least 4, right now). Now, knowing that he's decided to go back to his harder roots (thanks to your videos!!) I might decide to go to see his gigs again! PS: he was my first concert ever, I was 14 and it was 1991. PPS nice videos!!!
The electric guitarist of the concert if i' m not mistaken e Stef Burn and American played with Y&T (great live Lp) e Alice Cooper. American Drummer Matt Laugh also played for Alice Cooper , Slash' Snakepit. The Others are italians. Sorry i don' t know if i Wrote well i didn 't study English.
Vasco lives in U.S.A. a great part of the year (maybe in los angeles) beacuse of his enormous popularity in Italy he can't have privacy but in the U.S.A. he can be almost a common people (rich people 😁).
Vasco started as a quite normal songwriter, then for years he went for a more rock/hard rock sound with his band called Steve Rogers band, then he also changed band. In recent concerts he went to a more metal like sound, but he also has lots of ballads, love songs. He made songs very popular here in Italy. He tends to use less words possible and even simple lyrics, but to suggest things and build meaningful songs.
IN ITALIA PER NOI ITALIANI È UNA LEGGENDA SIAMO CRESCIUTI ASCOLTANDO VASCOOOOO🤟🤟🤟 🇮🇹🇮🇹 CONSIGLIO DI GUARDARE IL CONCERTO DI MODENA PARK PURA CARICA!!! FROM ITALY 🇮🇹🇮🇹🤟🤟
this song originally on studio had a very pop rock sound with 80s synthesizers, Vasco has gone through various stages in his career but it can be said that in the 80s / 90s he always made a good classic rock. however he has always surrounded himself with the best musicians here in Italy, many of them also Americans. for the live shows of that tour he decided to give at all the songs a metal imprint and rearrange all the songs. the drummer Is will hunt, also drummer of evanescence, who for a few years played with Vasco on tour
This old guy rocks, but you'd be surprised by the lyrics of some of his slower songs. He's a poet. It disappoints me that so many Italian songs cannot be fully appreciated worldwide because of the language barrier. You guys miss so much, Italian is such a beautiful language.
i think you would enjoy the band "melancholia", they have 2 songs out for now, both in english (they auditioned to xfactor with the song leon and than re recorded it for their yt channel, i think the live performarce and original arrangement are better)
Only One more thing about Vasco. He is an important part of Italian culture of the twentieth Century. A song that I would recommend for a guitarist is 'Gli angeli'. A masterpiece, and the original video was directed by Roman Polansky in 1996. Sad and powerful at the same time. Vasco has written really sad and meaningful lyrics, but also funny and ironic ones. He is chameleonic ..
I think that you have to listen some other live versions of his songs, like this medley: ua-cam.com/video/DPMoxdf5myo/v-deo.html, or 'siamo solo noi',that has won the award for the best rock italian song: ua-cam.com/video/7kpf3bsntAk/v-deo.html. I think the guitarist is Stef Burns and the drummer is Will Hunt, but he worked also with Deen Castronovo and other great drummers. And as guitarist check Andrea Braido he worked also with Vasco and his a monster in guitar.
This is top of Italian rock royalty... Vasco is a deity, and as such he can afford the best musicians. You should check out the original version of this song, you'd be surprised to hear how different it sounds. But that's why he's been at the top of his game for over 40 years.
This is the song that everyone knows word by word, fans and not, and that has always closed all his concerts. It describes with simple words the innocence of a little girl he saw taking the bus. ua-cam.com/video/VMU4eipoDDA/v-deo.html (LIVE 1990 low q) Albachiara (Clear dawn) You breathe slowly so you won’t make noise You fall asleep at night e wake up with the sun You’re pure as the dawn, you’re fresh as air You blush if someone looks at you You’re fantastic when you’re absorbed with your problems, with your thoughts... You dress up listlessly and never put on something that might get someone’s attention, or a detail just to make yourself seen And with your clean face you walk down the street, eating an apple, with your school books You like to study, you don’t have to be ashamed And when you look with those big eyes, maybe too sincere, it can be seen what you think, what you dream of And sometimes you have strange thoughts With one hand, with one hand you touch yourself You, alone inside the room, and all the world outside.

I recommend "rewind" live in modena park, a classic of vasco's concerts😂
I love you man, i like how you analyze the songs not only with your ears, you put in it your experience as musician. Thank you and Rock On!!
Thank you brother!!!
I’m going to stress you until you’ll react “Vasco Rossi Gli Angeli Live 1996” 😂😂
I saw Vasco live for the first time 23 years ago, I was 16 and I went with my father who is a big fan of Vasco. He is incredibile because at his concerts you can see people of very different ages singing his songs with all the passione they have.
Great video! Learning more about Italian rock along with you :)
The drummer in that concert and in that year was Will Hunt (the Evanescence’s drummer)…and he’s sound was vary heavy!!!!!!
You deserve 10,000 likes for the effort you put into reading "deviazioni" 😆🤙🤙🤙 You didn't get one. Thanks for your reactions, always passionate and sincere. Kisses from Italy.
😂😂😂I tried I tried
You're cute when you try reading italian 😁 Anyway, some people hate Vasco because in Italy we have this strange attitude to divide ourselves between two parts...like Guelfi and Ghibellini, Coppi and Bartali, Vasco and Ligabue and so on... We usually fight almost about everything ... Anyway thank you for reacting to Vasco's music. As an Italian born in 1972 my ears have always been listening to his music. If you want to listen to something else you can find 'Un senso' the original video in an Italian Theatre is really moving. Great music and lyrics.
Vasco Rossi fills the stadium, but also outside, around the stadium there is a party ... Vasco's gadget markets .. Many people try to listen to the concert envying those who managed to enter the stadium
The drummer is Will Hunt and he comes from Evanescence.
Even the other musicians have an amazing background.
Vasco rossi is the greatest italian rockstar,i love it
Finally you go back to listening to Vasco! Seeing the reactions for an artist who has united so many generations is always a pleasure.
You kill me with your Italian 😂😂😂but you are always my favorite! So proud that Vasco reposted your reaction!
Please watch “Gli Angeli” live 1996... the guitar solo is amazing.
The original song is so different. Very good video men. From Italy with lot metal. 🤘🏻
it's quite funny that americans and others people outside italy know vasco rossi thanks to maneskins ...
Thanks to Maneskin!? How come? I've heard of him right now, thanks to Mad Ang.
@@likures3033 Måneskin videos are going viral nowadays and sometimes reactors from other countries say "oh! Italian Rock... is that a thing?"
And here come suggestions about Vasco and other talented rockers from Italy...
Greetings! 👋🇮🇹🖖
Little guide to pronounce Italian vowels: A like in fAr; E like in elEphant; I like in mEEt or hIt; O like in rOw; U like in gOOd.
Even easier: open google translate and type in the words then click on the speaker symbol and a voice reads out loud the correct pronunciation! :)
He s the KING !!! Number1 in Italy... Great lyrics, Always.
Vasco means a lot for US. First of all he Is our giovinezza ...the Memory of when We were joung.
Let's begin to follow Vasco! Is the rock king in Italy 😎😉
VASCO the best! thanks Angelo!
During that tour the drummer was (yes, HE WAS) Will Hunt, from Evanescence!
I love that you like Vasco! And his amazing musicians 🤟🏻
Vasco 🔥💗🔥
In the late '80 Vasco refused to play as opening act for the Rolling Stones's Steel wheels tour. He's this kind of guy in Italy!
I love your appreciation of various bands....so great :)
You absolutly need to hear "asilo republic " about Vasco, pure rock
Vasco started as a quite normal songwriter, then for years he went for a more rock/hard rock sound with his band called Steve Rogers band, then he also changed band. In recent concerts he went to a more metal like sound, but he also has lots of ballads, love songs. He made songs very popular here in Italy. He tends to use less words possible and even simple lyrics, but to suggest things and build meaningful songs.
Vasco is the first our true Love. Our boss
♥️♥️♥️vascooooo
Mad Ang ! The drummer was "Will Hunt"
Vasco king
Vasco just posted, on his Instagram page, your video! Congrats man!
IN ITALIA PER NOI ITALIANI È UNA LEGGENDA SIAMO CRESCIUTI ASCOLTANDO VASCOOOOO🤟🤟🤟 🇮🇹🇮🇹 CONSIGLIO DI GUARDARE IL CONCERTO DI MODENA PARK PURA CARICA!!! FROM ITALY 🇮🇹🇮🇹🤟🤟
this song originally on studio had a very pop rock sound with 80s synthesizers, Vasco has gone through various stages in his career but it can be said that in the 80s / 90s he always made a good classic rock. however he has always surrounded himself with the best musicians here in Italy, many of them also Americans. for the live shows of that tour he decided to give at all the songs a metal imprint and rearrange all the songs. the drummer Is will hunt, also drummer of evanescence, who for a few years played with Vasco on tour
vasco for ever
This old guy rocks, but you'd be surprised by the lyrics of some of his slower songs. He's a poet. It disappoints me that so many Italian songs cannot be fully appreciated worldwide because of the language barrier. You guys miss so much, Italian is such a beautiful language.
We all love Vasco from the bottom of our hearts 💕, haters are just jealous.
i think you would enjoy the band "melancholia", they have 2 songs out for now, both in english (they auditioned to xfactor with the song leon and than re recorded it for their yt channel, i think the live performarce and original arrangement are better)
VASCO ROSSI is crazy from 40 years! love him!
We love who VASCO loves bro
Let's go 🔥🇮🇹🤟🏻🔥 (goosebumps)
The guitarist is American. Stef Burns, pseudonym of Stephan Birnbaum (Oakland, June 26, 1959), is crazy
In this tour, the drummer was Will Hunt from Evanescence 💣🤟🏻
listen to Vasco Rossi:
-portatemi dio
-stupendo
-asilo republic
-blasco rossi
I think that you have to listen some other live versions of his songs, like this medley: ua-cam.com/video/DPMoxdf5myo/v-deo.html, or 'siamo solo noi',that has won the award for the best rock italian song: ua-cam.com/video/7kpf3bsntAk/v-deo.html. 'Stupendo' is another masterpiece, search the lyrics considering that this song has been written by Massimo Riva (his guitarist and friend) some months before his death ua-cam.com/video/9v2Z1dtOOSU/v-deo.html
I assure you that you have never heard anything like it among the voices.
Diana Ankudinova's voice goes straight to the soul.
Among the reactionaries, Diana has long earned the title of queen of goosebumps.
Fallen in love with her humanity, her soul, her voice, her personality, her talent, humor, intelligence, courage, ... ❤️
Recommend making reactions to Wicked Game, Its Man's Man's Man's World and other
Diana Ankudinova 😊👍👍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💥💥💥🎉💫💯
*Diana* *Ankudinova* , this is the case when the genre, style, musical direction in which she sings is not important, but only her unique, inimitable voice and how she presents us with the song itself is important!
I always say that Vasco has one of the best band in the world. Listening to them live is like going to the other planet. You should see one Vasco's gigs mate!
Hi from italy !!!! Meraviglioso ❤
Hey mad, you always say you wouldnt be able to see Vasco because he doesnt come to usa or because of money but if you look at the minute 5:29 in the crowd you can see some american flags, and they werent the only one. It was in naples here
Hello, thank you for the video. I would like to see your reaction to the performances of Diana Ankudinova. This is a young singer, she has covers of famous songs, as well as her own songs.
Vasco has a laurea ad honorim...for what he write...is incredible..now Capisci ??
Seguo, un abbraccio dall'Italia 🤟
oh boy! la band è iniziata con andrea braido alla chitarra! and that was also a golden era for vasco! 👋🏽😉
i met stef burns in 2016, i was 14 years old, now i’m 19 and my life changed from that day!
Awesome show :)
W Rock and Metal
I think the guitarist is Stef Burns and the drummer is Will Hunt, but he worked also with Deen Castronovo and other great drummers. And as guitarist check Andrea Braido he worked also with Vasco and his a monster in guitar.
This is top of Italian rock royalty... Vasco is a deity, and as such he can afford the best musicians.
You should check out the original version of this song, you'd be surprised to hear how different it sounds. But that's why he's been at the top of his game for over 40 years.
Alla chitarra 🎸 il grande SOLIERI 🇮🇹
Vasco always had outstanding top class foolish musicians next to him and every body is and was ispired by him.
This is the song that everyone knows word by word, fans and not, and that has always closed all his concerts. It describes with simple words the innocence of a little girl he saw taking the bus.

Albachiara (Clear dawn)
You breathe slowly so you won’t make noise
You fall asleep at night e wake up with the sun
You’re pure as the dawn, you’re fresh as air
You blush if someone looks at you
You’re fantastic when you’re absorbed with your problems, with your thoughts...
You dress up listlessly and never put on something that might get someone’s attention, or a detail just to make yourself seen
And with your clean face you walk down the street, eating an apple, with your school books
You like to study, you don’t have to be ashamed
And when you look with those big eyes, maybe too sincere, it can be seen what you think, what you dream of
And sometimes you have strange thoughts
With one hand, with one hand you touch yourself
You, alone inside the room, and all the world outside.
Not only the music but also the lyrics!
Blasco (Vasco ) is the Blasco
🇮🇹👌🇮🇹👌🇮🇹👌🇮🇹👌
If you like the drummer Will Hunt, just try to hear “C’è chi dice no” from the same tour live kom 2015, you will be amazed!
