Hello, i buyed the same Deck in a Thriftstore for ten Bucks. My one had the same Problem with the Rubberwheel but when i putted on the Belt of the tapecounter, the autostop didnt engage. This functioned beaucose the autostop sensor is located next to the tapecounter and works with a propeller that turns when a tape is playing. This propeller is next to the sensor wich detects if a tape is playing. If the tape is done playing, the propeller stops turning, the sensor detects this and the autostop engages, i think you rubberwheel wasnt the problem, but mayby it was both. Anyways, thanks for your detailed repair video. It was very helpful! Thanks and greetings from switzerland😁😁😁
Thank you for your signal. This is a very good device and I think this mechanism is also good. Most problems are caused by aging of the belt and idler. Proper greasing is important for the autostop function. But the point is that you were able to fix it. And you bought it at a very good price. Congratulations.
Dear Sirs, thanks for informative video. I have CT 200. Same problem, belts has melted. Where can i buy these belts? Anybody knows? Any help is most appreciated. Thank you Sindre
@@sheenayorkie I usually buy on AliExpress. Unfortunately, it is very expensive elsewhere and not of better quality. It is worth buying on Aliexpes where the exact parameters of the belt are described. A belt with a minimum width of 5 mm is of acceptable quality.
@@josemanuel-ux2xn Hello. Unfortunately, these parts are no longer available. That's why I make most of these idlers rubber wheels from high quality water fitting sealing rubber. It is very cheap and can be purchased at any hardware store.
