  • Episode 5 of the documentary series Caribbean Citizenship by Investment, the first-ever documentary on all five citizenship by investment programs (CIPs) in the Caribbean, is now available.
In the series, we visit each country to learn more about the respective citizenship by investment programs and life on the ground on the islands. The fifth episode covers the Saint Lucia CIP, and is the last installment in the series.
The series includes interviews with officials from the respective citizenship by investment units, some of the prime ministers, CBI-real estate developers, as well as ordinary residents, and is intended to both give an introduction to citizenship by investment programs in the Caribbean, as well as to help international audiences learn more about the differences between each country.
The Chinese-language version of the series will be available on our WeChat channel in the coming days.
We hope you'll enjoy this series, as well as share it with your friends, colleagues, and business contacts.

This 5 part series ended anti climatically. We would have liked an end-of-series summary review and candid opinion which island seemed most worthwhile.

DG the CBI programs discuss the benefits of the citizenship for residency etc. n all the countries of CARICOM? Are there any special benefits for foreigners over 60?

Saint Helena is also named after a woman, but it isn't by definition a country, it's a territory.

The problem in those Caribbean Islands is that they want to much money, end of the story Mexico look like is the best at the moment. How about the permanent residence, once people get to stay there after some time they will do some business for living. How Caribbean Islands can grow up if they want only big investors with big money? If I have big money I do not invest in such a small Island to hard in the begining we don't know nothing about they culture and life stile and more important they law. I know people go in vacantion and fall in love with the Caribbean Island so they think they can do a good business there and to the end they lost all the money in a short time. The governments of those Island need to change the law and give time to people to stay there and get use to know what they can do there and what is the better business to get into. People just can't do things and business as a blind the risk is to high, sorry to said that but is what I think.

Never, the worst country ever! Such an dissapointment - terrible banks, no infrastructure, terrible services, Citizenship by investment only apply for 2 terrible properties on the island, everything overpriced, no nice beaches - all good ones are claimed by the 5*resorts, JUST AVOID AT ALL COSTS, BIG RIP OFF, feel like in central Africa
