Unless I absolutely demanded access to a specific country, then taxes are going to be the most important factor. Both income and capital gains taxes, but also not having restrictive requirements like being required to live there.

As a Mexican citizen, it's easier to get Spanish (EU country) citizenship than solely as a US citizen. Not to mention visa fees to some countries can be cheaper with a Mexican passport than a US one. You can probably get Mexican citizenship without your parents help if you get all the documents lined up.

Is it not important to also consider the country' attitudes and regulations. For example, they refused to evacuate un-vaccinated people when recently the volcano erupted. Not sure which country it was but the Caribbean seems to have the same attitude towards that based on the news available. If the child is BORN AFTER you get your Citizenship, then they are automatically eligible for St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship. If the child was BORN BEFORE you got your citizenship, then they need to be NATURALIZED.
