  • We closely follow an impressive grizzly in Kananaskis Alberta along Hwy 40. We also go on two scenic hikes. We did some bad Mic work on the video, sounds very unnatural and monotone because we're just too self-conscious, sorry about that. If you like the video please consider subscribing.

    Wow! I can't believe what you did. Don't you know that's not good for the bear? Don't you know you watch a bear from a distance and you don't follow? You just minimize the contact. Following with your car at a close range is a pretty ignorant thing to do.

    • @bohrerbros7555
      @bohrerbros7555  2 роки тому

      I also encountered a grizzly years ago on both Opal hills and Bald hills in Jasper. The trails off the southern end of the Smith Dorrien road have a lot of grizzlies, the trails around the Kananaskis lake vicinity have grizzlies, and the trails along Hwy 40 towards Highwood pass have grizzlies as well. Plus other areas. However, they will post warnings at the trail heads if any grizzlies have been noticed in the area. Just stay vigilant, carry bear spray and know what to do if you encounter a grizzly. That said actual bear attacks are rare. I've encountered a grizzly(ies) about a dozen times while on the trail, I've been bluff charged and approached, but so far never attacked. Keep in mind, that attacks are extremely rare, just stay vigilant. Have a safe trip, take care.

    I ride a racing motorbike and people do that to me a lot, mostly men and people with kids, they harass me, it is easy for me to leave them and keep on my way but that happens to me several times during my commute, "every day" believe me it is not nice to be followed that way, this kind of harassment may not end in anyone getting hurt, but it imprints stress on the harassed. No one needs this, but what if... and we never know.
