We're not against the logging industry, watch the whole video. If you watch the whole video you'll see we did not attack logging or loggers. Also, we're not familiar with logging equipment (i.e. tracks etc.) and how oil can transfer to the environment from the equipment, all we know is that we saw oil and oil like substances in puddles etc...Do not make assumptions without watching the entire v...

    Logging is about as close as you will come to how the original people managed the land. They used fire to remove the understory to promote plants and animals they could use and they girdled trees to bring in light. Similarly, logging leaves temporary cleared areas and selective logging thins the forest. Logging reduces the chance for massive, total fires. The modern conditions in a park are not the natural conditions the natives used to manage the land. The park is an over-stocked fire trap and a wildlife desert because it is no longer managed by man. These forest were managed as gardens by the natives and when the Euro people showed up what they saw was not a natural, untouched forest., but a large, wild garden. This environmentalist should drive his 4x4 Jeep back to his suburban house and donate money to wildlife groups who use pandas and kolas as their poster animals.

      So do I, Lol. I suggest you watch the whole video, which obviously you have not, before you comment. If you watch the whole video before you comment you'll discover I did not attack logging, forest industry or loggers. Some people can't help but make assumptions before they have all of the facts. Take care.

    What I've found here, to the south in Washington the State, is that first folks want to buffer a park. Then they want a buffer of the buffer, and so on. I didn't watch the whole rant. We have pretty strict forest practice rules and guidelines here. As does our federal land. Perhaps you need to lobby your government to strengthen rules and contracts, because loggers do what the contracts state--if monitored properly. The logging outfits I've worked with have finally realized that they have to make things look good. Note the word look. Garbage is picked up, no equipment is allowed to be abandoned, etc. Instead of getting the usual folks, who are not foresters, riled up, why not start by lobbying your rule makers?

    • @bohrerbros7555
      @bohrerbros7555 8 місяців тому

      True, but you should watch the whole video because I do understand what you have just said, and I did not attack logging, or even logging practices, in any way in my video rant. Always hear someone completely out and never make assumptions. Take care.

    If the wolves go, the other animals will over populate and that will eventually weaken our ecosystems.

    • @bohrerbros7555
      @bohrerbros7555 8 місяців тому

      Very true. There's a carrying capacity to a given balanced ecosystem, if herbivores are allowed to over populate they will degrade the ecosystem so the carrying capacity is lowered. Wolves generally go after the easiest prey, the injured, the old, sick, weak and young so the population is kept in balance. Wolves also ensure the strongest individuals survive resulting in a healthy strong gene pool. Man, however, does the opposite going after the strongest most fit individuals resulting in less genetically fit animals. Man is degrading the gene pool through trophy hunting, notice how antlers are becoming smaller and animals are becoming smaller and weaker with time.
