There are always improvements to be made on the builds, i think at least you can have an idea of what to expect of some weapons with this mod, which one is missing a highlight?
Hey, would you mind trying it out on the Fulmin Prime? I got the mod and haven’t been able to test it myself just yet 😅 I was hoping that the semi auto would go crazy with internal bleeding ^-^
I did a bunch of tests with it, and my favorite i found was the burston incarnon with primary acuity and primary crux modded base damage , heat, and status damage. The huge status chance and crit chance from the new mod and arcane made the heat procs really strong.
For Pistol Acuity, I’ve been using the Onos main fire and it’s been hitting for millions. The Merciless Gunfight mod allows you to always have your 5th evolution active without requiring kills first which is massive (+200% base damage). And the Incarnon mode has a guaranteed Heat proc, so Acuity makes this proc insanely high 🔥
I been running the same with that new magnetic cri dmg mod(for eximus and priming), blast, and elementalist. I hit things for upwards of 500m no faction mod.
Just to note on some weapons the Acuity mods are either bugged or not working as intended on some weapons. Instead of adding the crit chance to your other crit mods it instead multiplies your crit chance. Easily getting you to red crits on a few weapons. If you want a list its on the acuity wiki page or you can look at biting frost wiki page and its the same thing with that.
Indeed mate, the last ones on the list are those, considered "bugged" and also ppl are saying that for the rest of the weapons the mod is only giving half of the listed CC
Small improvement on the kuva chakkhurr could be semi rifle cannonade and critical delay replacing serration and point strike(its very small but its "optimal" i guess)
I feel the new headshot bonus mods are great on weapons that are not affected by multishot very much and better suited for builds that can slow down the enemy so their "heads" are not moving around so much. Gloom and/or throwing around freezes/slows or lifting targets like Caliban and Vauban can are great ways. I'm not too sure about Banshee. Cannot forget about Ivara's stealth giving headshot bonus too. These mods and the new aura mod really help old weapons out alot. I wouldn't use it on weapons that are much stronger with multishot though like probably Torid.
Combined with Worthy Comradery, this makes kitguns with Pax Seeker really spicy again. There's some evil multidip shenanigans with Seeker too. A lot of projectile weapons will apply the multiplier to Comradery too, so it's actually +262% final crit, which is juicy.
@@TheFarGaurd Gaze for pinpoint headshots, smg is also fine too as its a bullet hose. Others are a bit harder to land since they are either AoE or their projectiles have travel time.
@@TheFarGaurd both Gaze variants are fantastic. Other than that, primary Sporelacer and Catchmoon are shotguns and ineligible, and primary Vermisplicer has difficulty with locking on to heads. Tombfinger might work, but I've never tested it and there are two separate builds for the primary. That leaves the Rattleguts variants, as the other commenter mentioned. Other than the Gazes, secondary Vermisplicer is extremely powerful as well but it needs Scourge to function as a headshot weapon. Didn't have much luck with Tombfinger and Catchmoon but I think that's because Cannonade and Acuity don't combo well; fire rate is an easy pick and Cannonade doesn't compensate losing it well enough.
I found it to work well with dera, chakkhurr, and perigale I thought it would be great on the nataruk, but i got substantially lower damage with it compared to gal chamber. I was testing it with a viral/hunters munitions build and a riven which gives me +tox/+cold/+fire rate/-puncture Had longbow sharpshot which was procing, so i wasnt missing the weak points. I think it comes down to needing multishot to proc HM but primary acuity is a pleasant surprise Now for some weapons +multishot is a bad roll, and -ms is a harmless neg. What a shake up for rivens
Never had a problem using songs from games before, i mean if the song was made for the game, now if has like a previous source then you might get in trouble
I think Acuity mods are rather niche. It doesn't proc on Banshee's Sonar and Helios's Detect Vulnerability, only for Cyte-09's Seek & Neutralize. Also it doesn't work against Tridolons, and most Starchart enemies don't have weakpoint aside from headshot, so its best mostly against Techrot and Scaldra (especially the tank bossfight).
Yeap, if i'm not wrong headshot damage and weakspots work different and some "weakspots" use the headshot damage calculations depending on the abilities and stuff

I did it and consistently get crazy Red Crits lol. With ashes augment that also gives grit chance.

I've been running them with Worthy Comradery on Banshee, and I look at it more like a fun little bonus if Sonar rolls on an enemy weak point.

What are the units you test on in the simulacrum? I use the drekar manic bombards
strongest weapon I found with this mod is Dera Incarnon + that Crux arcane.
Tenet/Kuva builds is unfortunately just a waste of forma.
agree, Incarnon is popular now cause of perks which can give more idea builds on it...Tenet/Kuva are like free elemental bonus just to save mod slot

acuity mods drop from the new enemies in 1999 missions, primary drops pretty often in scaldra missions and pistol acuity doesnt drop as often afaik
