We were one of his initial customers who pushed him to start providing meals us as college students way back in 1992. We used stay in Cox Town and used come daily for dinner. Bobby's Grandmother and mother used cook the food and Bobby used serve it with lots of respect. There used single table with four chairs. Bobby really worked hard and reached where he is today. I remeber it used be 5 rs for dal , 5 rs for Subzi and 1 rupee for roti. God Bless him abundantly
I used to visit the Gurudwara on Sunday with my punjabi colleagues(sunday was a working day for us) and then go to this dhaba Or another one also which was next to it.... Was told that it has closed down when I visited that place last year
It's sad to see people struggle with their business but still moving ahead with faith in God... Sir you are doing great job by giving insight to people.. Thank you 🙏
18 years back, I used to go to this dhaaba near gurudwar. The entire family was taking part. It was amazing..I was actually searching. Thanks for tracking the place. I will visit soon with family.🙏🙏🙏. I wish they come out of this situation and do well.
Yes Badsha Bhai you are absolutely right. Bobby Bhai seems to be generous and outspoken. In his speech we can understand how much of affection. Really nice. God will bless him defenately

I was searching for a Punjabi dhaba from last 1 year, after watching your video I drove 52 km to experience the taste. As you suggested we ordered the food with normal spicy and enjoyed our food . Thank you @Kripal ji and Booby ji... Planning to visit one more time for the paratha and lassi...
Happy you enjoyed your Bobby Da Dhaba experience, Biswajit, am told it got pretty crowded post our video and involved a fair bit of wait for some. The parathas and lassis are certainly worth a trip.
God! It brings amazing memories. I did my graduation in Bangalore (Dentistry), and only during my internship I found the dhabha, back in 1996-97. It was behind the Gurudwara , and was the best home cooked food. I last visited Bangalore in 2001, and I’m sure it has changed a lot. I hope to visit it next year if everything goes well. Thank you for sharing this video. 🥰💝
We used visit this place very frequently back in 2009-2012 since our office was located in Richmond road. On a Friday night we had to book a slot and wait outside in the parking lot atleast 30-45 minutes. It was next to Gurudwar, Ulsoor road. Must say, the restaurant was in a very bad condition, but the taste of parata's sabzi's and the large glass of butter milk was the best, I could still feel it on my palate. Glad you covered it. I remember there was a another non-veg restaurant close to this and they had the best Nati Koli biryani and the speciality is they used to serve every item in a mud pot (madike). Fun times!!
Went nostalgic for some time. Have been visiting " Bobby da dhaba for ages now". The punch line when they were in ulsoor was " adha ghanta lagega Maraj"
A trip to memory lane, so many lunches i had in Bobby's dhaba. That lassi glass would set me full and only can have half paratha and rajma. That time lassi glass was silver glass. All glory Bobby ji, seva chale 1000 years.

The egg burji (yes, that was only non-veg we used to get) and paratha accompanied by lassi, followed by a very cold sumptuous bowl of kheer (at times 3) will always linger on and on and on! Long live bobbyji and ur lengendary food. 🙏 And thanks a lot for bringing this back, Mr Kripal. 🥰

Whole nation is grateful to Punjab, the granary of India for feeding millions with love and this is real wholesome food cooked in great civilizational traditions with humility, served with smile and thats why its important to remember that a nation which eats well is a happy nation. This is a remarkable video during current depressing situation. It could cheer up lots of people. Long live Punjab and its glorious food heritage. Our best wishes to Shri Bobbyji. You have really understood the spiritual dimensions of food.
