There may have been some so called cusines called authentic menue here and there in now Kolkata, but I am sure the Awadhi tastes have always been floating on top and will be in top forever. Her history is as beautiful as she is. She looks a bit like Suchitra Sen( any one see that?) and potato actually came from Latin America. Must have been expensive. Which restaurant she runs? Need to order once I go home.😊😊😊 And Kolkata/ Awadhi biryani is the best..😅

Loved the program and hope to taste Manzilat’s cooking someday. Awadhi cuisine came to Kolkata with Nawab Wajid Ali Shah. This fact is actually very well known. There are many a book on this including references to moti dana biriyani. May be Manzilat can recreate the magic of the famed dish.
Respect🙌...i loved this episode Kunal ji. Thank you so much for showing this. If I ever come to Kolkata, I would love to go to Manzilat, would definitely meet you Fatima ji😊
Dear Kunal Ji, Thanks so much. You must try Tunday Kebabs from "Lucknowee" at Jogeshwari bang opposite Ghaswala Dairy. You must try out the Special Mutton Biryani offered by Singarawal from Thakur Village. Guaranteeing you will love both 😊

We learnt at school about the oild history of Kolkata and how different personalities influenced it over centuries, including the last Nawab of Oudh .....
What a lovely vlog....my native place and complements are so rich. Always loved kolkata biryani.... especially that of Amenia... Esplanade, Rezalla of Sabir and Bhuna with Parantha of Rahmania❤❤❤
