Rosie perez always authentic always doing the right thing. A women of greatness. No sell out. A puerto rican icon. Keep shining rosie. Yes, yo soy boricua paque tu lo sepa. Thank you for staying true to la preciosa island
Rosie definitely carries this iconic status, but…do we all really rightfully and deservingly acknowledges how great she is as an actor?! She’s extraordinary! And she gets better and better! So let’s remind ourselves more and more often of how Great this tiny Lady is!☝🏼👏🏼
Rosie, Rosie… Not “Borincuas,” Boricuas. Second, the U.S. did not come to liberate the island. The U.S. invaded the island to finally remove Spain from the New World.
Rosie Perez, a proud Boricua icon, made two historical errors. She stated that Spanish colonization began in the early 1400s, but Christopher Columbus didn't arrive until 1493. Additionally, she claimed 20 million Puerto Rican women were sterilized, a staggering exaggeration. Considering the female population from 1947-1956 was approximately 1.3 million, estimates suggest around 500,000 women, or one-third of the female population, were sterilized by 1957. Although significantly lower than Perez's figure, half a million women forcibly sterilized remains a devastating and painful chapter in Puerto Rican history, highlighting the dark legacy of eugenics and population control policies imposed on the island.
She is so lovely, one thing I want to throw in the faces of those in PR (not everybody) but for those who always talk 👉💩, about that those who did not borne in PR, are not Puerto Ricans!!! I want them to listen to her telling the story of Borikén, Christopher Columbus, and all the details, well explained, something that I'm sure those who talks 👉💩 don't even know this story🙄, Bella mi BORICUA!!!, you go girl!😘🙏🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷

Two seconds after Rosie started talking, I knew she was going to have to eventually say, "But I love America, its the greatest nation on the planet", and that would get applause. Gotta soothe that fragile American ego after telling hard ignored truths about it.

What country, Puerto Rico 🇵🇷? Both Jennifer Lopez, Rosie Pérez and even Mark Anthony were born in New York! They hardly speak Spanish which is what we speak in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷!
Rosie; In the early 1900, the U. S. Imposed the citizenship to those born on P R. With the clause that if they refused , they were allowed to seek political asylum. There weren't many or any embassies in P.R.. Therefore, They were allowed to seek asylum, a great number travel to N.Y. to find embassies. As usual, the applicants with degrees, carrers, skills and special talents received asylum in many Spanish speaking countries However;😂 many of those not "adopted" became the new labor force for U.S. The irony is that, P.R. was drained of it's professional and skills, and many of the "refugees" became the labor and carne de canon. 🎉 love you.
