>reads description >realizes I haven't made a remix of DFttF >questions my own identity as a remix creator No, for real though, this is awesome! I loved hearing this in the Primal Dialga Megamix, and I'm glad you uploaded it as a separate video, as there are just loads of cool details that warrant repeat plays of this remix! I love how that lead instrument has a bit of a forlorn, yet whimsical sound to it (is it an English Horn?). And those backing strings are just perfect - they remind me a bit of the way Yoko Shimomura (composer for the Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and Mario & Luigi series, as well as many others) uses strings in her music. I'm always partial to when strings are used alongside more electronic, modern elements like you've done here, and the mix of sustained rhythms and quick-moving arpeggios really sound awesome! I just love how this song phases seamlessly through different energy levels and drum beats (or drum-less sections, which are effective in their own right). Oh, and speaking of movement between sections, I LOVE that transition right at 2:21, with what sounds like distorted white noise (but I'm also hearing a really tight drum roll, though I may just be imagining things)... whatever it is, it sounds amazing, and it's probably my single favorite detail of this remix. You certainly have continued to improve, and it's motivating to see your progress as a remixer, and your reflection on the process. And I love that you're always trying new things in your music, and I'm sure you've found quite a few instruments, techniques and approaches that you want to use continuously and refine even further. Keep up the stellar work, Caleb - Time is on your side! 💎
Thanks so much Equalyze! I can't wait to hear a Dialga remix from you as well! It's not an easy track to do which is why I waited to do it as I got better and learned more. The lead you were wondering about is like sorta electric e-flute. And then those riser transitions with the kicks is something I'm really try to get better with to provide build-up. Thanks for listening 😊
I just started listening to your remixes a few days ago, and they're so cool! I hope your channel gets more popularity because you definitely deserve it. I'm also in love with that chord at the end, beautiful work!
As in the remix or the actual original song? If you use the remix, I ask for a link in the corresponding description. If it's the original song, then I am able to remix this song under fair use.
This one's pretty chill. Gives of a nice cool spacey vibe; almost as if it were for Palkia instead of Dialga. Love it tho 💙
Ooh interesting! Glad you like it

a remix of a remix? no way...
I mean I wouldn't particularly say that this is a remix of a remix but it's heavily inspired from a remix lol
Is this copyright free?
