Can you do a video showing how the camera works?
I purchased this display as well. Question???
Are you having issues with calls? Every person I talk to says they hear an echo when they speak until I turn off the CarPlay connection? Any simple workarounds other then disabling the connection?
Friendly help from California. I have the 9” version and had similar issue. Basically there is too much audio lag in original setup hansshow recommended which is phone to hanssow console to tesla Bluetooth. You see, we have multiple Bluetooth hops. Each hop causes audio lag. Hence why when you push play in CarPlay. Using app, you hear music 1.5 seconds later. This delay causes the other caller’s spoken words to be heard by themselves about 1 second later.
The solution which works for Apple phones and might for android auto is to go to tesla infotainment Bluetooth menu and connect to your phone. Mark your phone as priority device so your preference is remembered. I also went to phone’s accessibility settings and set an option to ensure incoming calls are handled by Bluetooth device. Before doing that I would have to occasionally click on phone’s incoming call menu and switch it from hanshow bluetooth or CarPlay to tesla Bluetooth.
After doing this occasionally sound will come from hanshow hardware’s speaker. You will need to go to tesla. Bluetooth audio source menu and push play and this forces audio again to be through cars speakers. Note, via this setup Siri voice will always come through hanshow hardware speaker. If I am not expecting many calls I switch my Bluetooth source to be hansshow which causes Siri and Apple nav to come from car speaker again.
This may sound horrid but after a bit it all makes sense and works well.
The issue has been mentioned to hansshow for months now. I doubt they have a fix since the console is not integrated tightly in to car infotainment like in cars where CarPlay and android auto are built in and have no extra Bluetooth hops.
Where u connected the electricity for the screen?
The unit draws it's power from the autopilot computer connection.
Mines a 2023, AMD no gray connector?
For AMD there is a blue plug against the side wall.
