My late husband was a third generation wood cutter who contracted for the Forestry Commission in Cumbria. He was absolutely at home in the woods, and a very down to earth bloke. One time he had to do some thinning in an area of woodland he'd never worked in before, which wasn't that unusual, but hated it the minute he entered even though it was broad daylight. He said it felt dark and sad, as though something had happened there. He felt very uncomfortable the whole of the time he worked there, which was a couple of weeks. He was so convinced that there was something not right about the place, he asked one of the area managers if anything had happened there. Apparently someone had done themselves in there some years previously. Bear in mind this was a very remote spot, so a coincidence seems unlikely. He thought that must have been the reason, but whatever it was, he was relieved to finish and move on. He worked for fifty years in the woods, and nothing ever affected him like that again. Spiritual trespass might be a thing. I'd definitely want to know the history of the place.
My dad had a similar experience in the 80s when he was working some land for the council. Said the place gave him instant chills. He soon found out why when he stumbled across the swinging body. Had been there a few days. Awful.

That tree really does look like something out of a horror movie. When the camera revealed it, it triggered that same feeling of creepiness. Had all the psychological cues they'd use in a move too: dense cluster, darker green foliage, dark shade inside even in the day, and everything around it looks open, bright, and airy. Set off that decades old Blair Witch feeling when I saw it; like we were looking into a witch's home (even though it's not nearly big enough).
I just checked the both videos, but the spot he was in at 4:20 seemed to be the same place he sat down before leaving in the previous video. Was in between the thick, slanted tree and the dark, tall bush (the dog kept looking at both trees in the previous video). Not sure if he realized that, but I'm officially creeped out now 😅
Did you ever see that viral.vid of a black figure in the tennessee woods??? About 2012 or something??? Alot of ppl said it was a burnt deceased tree stump....others said it was demonic and conjured...looked alot like the satanic shadow doll
It's not pareidolia. Pareidolia causes the human brain to perceive a familiar or meaningful image within a random or ambiguous visual pattern. It would be pareidolia if someone thought that they saw a face, figure, animal, structure, or object that wasn't actually there (the thing itself, not the elements that create its likeness) within the random visual pattern created by the tree foliage, vegetation, brush, sticks & stems, & sometimes in combination with the shapes of the spaces between & around those things.
I got that feeling as well. But I did watch the first video so it isn't 100% genuine. But there is something creepy with that big tree in the middle. Its a big contrast to everything else there and feels off for some reason.
Just watched the other video. Rule of thumb, always follow the Appalachian mountains rules no matter where you are camping in the world: 1. never leave the marked trail, 2. Do not whistle or sing in the woods (especially at night), 3. Never look too hard in the trees, 4. If you hear your name, no you didn’t, 5. If you hear screaming, no you didn’t. If possible take a weapon with you. You did right by listening to your instincts
@@Zan4833because you freak yourself out! Pareidolia: Pareidolia is the phenomenon in which people see faces or other patterns in ambiguous images, such as Jesus on toast or the man in the moon
On a more serious not, it's good to make as much noise as possible while in the forest. Animals of prey are surprising afraid of humans. I live in Appalachia, Canada btw. But you are correct on the situational awareness part. People who spend time in nature develop a much stronger situational awareness instinct. The forest can be scary at night, even for someone with years of experience, but you eventually learn the noises that come along with it. The problem is that one's senses can become overwhelmed and it can get the best of them.
The fact that the tree looks so visibly different gets me, I would probably observe it for a while from a distance. For science, and hate every second.
Yeah it’s visibly different because it’s a self seeded holly tree in planted but abandoned coppice of hazel so it looks out of place, that is all it is.
I’m reminded of the so-called ‘fairy stroke’ of Celtic folklore, which refers to a sudden attack of fear or panic caused by the proximity of elves or other supernatural beings. In some cases, this panic was associated with a place where elves were believed to be active, such as a "fairy ring" (a circle of mushrooms) or a sacred tree. In this context, the fear or panic people experienced was often so intense and sudden that it was thought to be caused only by supernatural forces. Elves and other "fairy folk" were seen in Irish folklore as powerful beings who could be either benevolent or malevolent, depending on how people behaved towards them.
Was thinking the same thing. I wonder if that tree was a hawthorn / white thorn tree? supposedly where fairies have their portal and if you go near it you can have certain strong senses /feelings either good or bad. Maybe he should go back with an offering aNd leave it tied to the tree to show he meant no harm or disrespect to the face folk

I live in and grew up in an extremely rural area of the cascades of Washington state. I was an Eagle Scout, grew up hunting, fishing and practicing wilderness survival skills… I’ve done 40 mile solo hikes… I bring this all up because there are times that even I bail on a trip because it just doesn’t feel right and I’m normally carrying at least my 10mm and at-10.There’s no shame in it and I believe it our evolutionary instincts kicking in. Listen to all those little things you can’t explain, they are just as important as those you can.
@@AJ-ry8uq No, it's evolutionary instinct. Something that has literally kept the species alive for millennia. Your god may make you fearful, but a thousand generations of my ancestors gives me wisdom.
Not gonna lie, nothing seemed amiss this time around. The dog was happy, everything was bright. Last time, though, there was definitely something off, the dog was nervous, everything was silent and then came those noises. Whatever was going on I think has passed through, all that's lingering now is the uneasy feelings you personally have about the place. That's what's probably got you on edge. You came in feeling nervous so of course seeing a couple of dens and an odd tree is going to play with those preconceived emotions. That's just my two cents.
I agree that this might be the case. It makes sense on an instinctual & survival level to have a psychological fear that causes feelings of paranoia & the desire to avoid any area that one has experienced anything that they perceived as dangerous or a potential threat because there's a possible probability that the potential threat could return to the same area in the future. And you obviously don't want to be there if or when it does.
To me, this go around felt *less* severe. It helped that it was daylight. The vibes were lighter, with more sounds of nature. Archie was more at ease. But then it started to get tense again, that rancid feeling of dread creeping in. And I swear to you, I hadn't even glanced at the comments up ti that point. But the second that tree came on screen, my eyes riveted to it. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up. It just felt wrong and bad. And THEN he said oh my god, it's this tree. Something is not right in there, imo

Last year, I cycled from Calais to Spain, with a bivvy-type tent and 4 panniers strapped onto a 40 year old 10-speed Raleigh (which reduced down to 3 usable speeds as I went). When I had to wild camp, I often moved on when something felt 'off'. Perhaps it was a particular geography; the foreign isolation of certain areas; the darkness of thick woods; Around the Somme, it was the heritage of the place, the pitch blackness of the nights, and the feeling I was sleeping alongside the buried fallen. That and the wild boars... One night, en-route south of Bordeaux, down the coastal road, I had to camp by the ocean, in an area that had recently suffered forest fires; charcoal and ash everywhere. I camped in a secluded copse of trees at the end of long sandy/ash track, pushing the narrow bike tyres through it, to the foot of a steep dune separating the copse from the Atlantic. After setting up camp, I went for a swim in the sea to wash, and, from the crashing surf, noticed what looked like a woman walking up and down the crest of the dune in the half-light. I thought it best to get back to camp (clothed) and to my gear. Back at the tent, the night was drawing in, and this figure kept on walking along the dune, stopping to look back at me, disappearing, then repeating the same steps. I was worried that a woman would be walking about what was a pretty isolated area that time of night, and also conscious I had to sleep there myself and so, I decided to investigate, or I'd be fretting all night. It was a bloke as it turns out, long hair, naked, just walking around and lying about the dunes. I asked, as boldly and masculine as I could if he was alright (in English) he said he was just out for a walk. The whole thing felt weird and creepy, especially since we were the only two around as far as I could make out. Far too late to 'move-on' I tried my best to get some sleep, which, as I was dog-tired, happened easier than I thought. In the morning there was no sign of the guy, my stuff was all still there. I packed up, in the rain, as quickly as I could. When I left the copse area and rejoined the sandy track to get back on the tarmac, I noticed two guys, walking towards me and the beach, both stark-bollock-naked, towels casually slung over their shoulders. Turns out I'd inadvertently camped over-night at a nudist beach, frequented by various adventurous types looking for 'friends'. I did my research for future camping rather more thoroughly from then on.
@@deborahsimpson2732 well it's normal as fields and woods/hedges have a synergy, in the soil, with insects, fungus, birds, microorganisms etc... and you got a healthier soil and crops with woods/hedges near fields. but considering what happened here, and that there is woods or trees that exists that are "sacred" or "cursed" for the locals and that you better not damage or disturb... makes you wonder :)

I'm probably being fanciful but I felt similar vibes when you neared that tree. Something indefinable. If you are going to take a friend, don't mention the tree vibes. Don't suggest. See if they spontaneously feel it too. It is a foreboding looking tree, dark and impenetrable. But that said, Archie and his reliance on feeling, not thought, was completely unperturbed this time. And of course it's easier to put your fears to one side when it's not just about to get dark! Anyway, the whole episode made for great content. I'm glad you returned. Hope you'll invite us along if you do try to camp there again.
If you are strongly feeling you are not welcome, then maybe leaving it alone is the best route. At any rate, it might be worth doing some local history research
Christ, I could feel the energy coming off that tree THROUGH THE SCREEN! You’re not crazy at all man I got a primal reaction to that thing just watching this video.
Had to stop the video to comment that the minute the camera hit that tree I said out loud at the same time you did “it’s that tree” and instant Goose bumps. 😂
Hubby and I visited a friend in Ireland, he took us out for a drive sightseeing and along the way he pointed out a tree alone by itself in a field and told us that that tree belonged to the fairies and that nobody ever went near it for fear of disturbing them. I laughed at the idea, but he may have been onto something... He said it's unwise to upset the fairies.
Had a weird experience cycling my bike whilst on holiday. We were staying in a log cabin on the shore of a Scottish loch,I was in my teens . I cycled past this big collapsed mountain that basically was made of boulders . Immediately felt something was staring at me from up there . Everything went silent and I felt absolute dread . Got out quick and was too scared to return by the same route . Endured the terror of cycling back via the road on the other side of the loch. Huge forestry commission lorries loaded with logs overtaking me . 1975. Still think about It to this day . Had to do the edit thing because I am in my sixties now and have arthritis so can't type stuff quickly . My old lady head tells me it was Loch Morar but I think it might have been Loch Lomond . Sadly that part of the memory is lost to time . The actual feeling of terror still remains .
Ah yes. The infamously dark colored holly tree. It being the only tree of its kind in those woods is likely why it stood out. The rest of the trees were bright in color and looked lively. The holly tree by nature is a pretty ugly and drab tree until it bears its bright red beries. Then its quite the tree to look at! Interestingly, the holly tree has a lot of mythological and spiritual significance. It has a lot of folklore surrouding it. Specifically with Celtic culture, its beleived to house fairies and ward off evil spirits, and its also known to be a tree of great power to gealic druids. They were said to have used to commonly for making wands because of the power it possses. I personally don't beleive in any of that, but thats all absolutely fascinating considering that tree gave you such strong feelings.
Nope, nope, nope. The moment you went deeper, i got goosebumps up and down my body, and my cat sat up to look at me from their nap like they were startled. Something is wrong in that place.
Aye. It's right when he turns his back on the tree. Watched it once, replayed it a couple times with my eyes closed. Part of the camera panning before is mildly disorienting which sets me off a little before he's got his back to the tree. Any sound engineers out there? Also, curious as to what species of tree that is. Sorry for my lengthy comment. I'm an autist and this stuff is the only thing I find interesting in life. Stuff we have yet to quantify... And having learned all the crap I've learned over my life, I am compelled to pick it apart.
@themarlboromandalorian np, that was my cue too, I work with radios and hear a lot of frequencies. It's amazing what a wavelength can do to a person if pitched correctly. Animals, especially big cats or even domestic ones, can make vibrations with their vocal chords that are a different levels than most other animals. That's why a cats purr can help calm someone down. I don't see why something bigger vocaliziing at a lower frequency can't do the opposite.
You must understand that haunted forests are no joke and this one is it. It means there are demons in that forest. There are few possible sings - 1) weird and uncomfortable feeling, 2) dark even in the middle of the day, 3) cold pockets, 4) no animals or birds, 5) owl sounds in daylight, 6) frightened dog, 7) weird sounds like whispers, voices, laughing, even footsteps and branch cracking. That all comes from demonic realm and they do that intentionally. You just never stay in such places and leave it ASAP.

As a kid I attended a summer day camp on the east coast of the US. During the year the campus was a private school, so most of the time the campers spent there was in developed areas. But every now and then we’d go off into the woods. There were a couple of different wooded sections, but there was this one particular section of woods that no one was supposed to go into. The camp had a yearly scavenger hunt where it wasn’t uncommon for the campers to run wild away from their counselors, but we were not supposed to enter the woods. When I was 9 or 10 a few kids from my group, probably 6 or 7 of us, decided to look in the forbidden section. We were all having fun, searching for the scavenger hunt when we came across an area that sent shivers down my spine and a tree that seemed particularly ominous. Not all of our group felt it, but probably about half of us did. We quickly turned around to rejoin the rest of the group and mentioned it to our counselors who scolded us for going out there unsupervised. I remember being freaked out for the rest of the day, but never really thought about it much after a couple of days. 5 or 6 years later as I was a counselor in training, I was talking to a veteran counselor who had been working at the school and camp for over 25 years who I had grown close to. On a whim I asked him why that one section of woods was off limits, and he told me in hushed tones that it was a bit of a secret the camp director didn’t want people talking about, but one summer about 10 years before I had been in the forbidden area that a young teenaged girl walked into the woods there and h*ng herself. I never got confirmation that I was in the exact same spot or that the tree I had seen was the tree where she passed, but in that moment my heart dropped and I knew in my gut that it was. Two of the kids who had been there with me were still at the camp as counselors in training with me, and when I told them they both went pale and said they felt the same way. Never had an experience exactly like that again, but to this day I’m convinced that the forest can hang onto darkness and that we can definitely feel it.

A battery going dead before it should is often a sign of a spiritual presence. Some people say "they use it to charge themselves up so they have more power and can do other things." I'm leery of that explanation. I think it's just one of the methods they use to say "You're not alone here." Continue to trust your gut in situations like that though. Some people think they can trust spirits at their word, who they are, where they're from, etc., when they do EVP and other spirit communication stuff. But really, you can't. If it feels scary, it's because it is scary. Trust that it's probably a negative spiritual entity, demonic, malevolent, whatever and generally avoid it. It won't benefit you at all if you try to communicate with these things, only for them to attach to you, turn your life upside down, that sort of thing.
You can interpret anything into everything if you try hard enough. The most likely solution is often the simplest. There's something wrong with the battery itself, potentially it discharges itself too quickly by warming up (had that happen before)
I've researched missing 411 David pauladis. There so many stories about missing people in national parks and always in weird circumstances. First recorded was in yosemite 1939. I find it all so intriguing.
I need you to understand something okay. The only reason it looks like people disappear at national parks more often. Is because of shear weigh of numbers. Hundreds of thousands, maybe millions, of people visit national parks each year. Statistical people are gonna go missing. My other point is so many people don't know how close they are to a mental health episode. Your 1 or 2 bad days of hiking and cup of coffee away from deciding to walk across the entire country. Or that your being chased.
Is it just the lighting in the video or is the creepy tree significantly darker than ALL the other trees? When I first saw it, I thought it was an overgrown house. The word “dwelling” springs to mind but not in the noun sense - not like “a home”. More like the verb - something is “dwelling” there. Humans have senses we don’t even realize we’re using but that have been inborn in us for eons, helping us experience the world around us. Even if that understanding is as vague as “This place is giving me the creeps and I am not hanging around”. I think we dismiss these things as we leave childhood, to our detriment.
Usually the comments take the piss but we all feeling it through the camera. I also felt that spot was off right before you said it. We are watching it through a screen and feeling uneasy. I would try ans speak to locals about the history of that patch of forest. Also strange only that spot has that dense dark foliage.
It looks like a holly tree, and that is how they look and how they grow, but I too felt the creeps and zeroed in on the spot from afar. I believe holly wood is of ritual significance and people make wands out of it and stuff. I think he stumbled on some nasty ritual site.
It’s called Gravel Wood for a reason - historic energy lingering no doubt. Always listen to your instincts that’s what they’re there for. 100% did right thing!
I went back too your previous video to see if the tree was in it - and I think it was! Inside the forest you sit in front of a tree that is much denser/darker than the other trees, and is very similar in shape. Spooky. Stay safe out there
Just watched your two videos. Not wanting to dismiss the possibility of bad spirits, but what you may have experienced is infrasound, or low frequency sound < 20 Hz. That wood, and perhaps that specific tree, converts the wind (even light breeze) into sound waves that a person cannot hear but can feel, creating feelings of dread, unease, discomfort, etc. It is a real phenomenon, although difficult to definitively prove.
That tree mate - gave me the creeps. I could feel it through the video. All I could hear was a voice in my head saying ‘stay TF away from that tree mate’.

Plenty of people have already commented to follow your gut-- trust your dog-- and when those two things correspond, there's your sign. For anyone to say otherwise is asinine. Archie's face (previous video @ 7:33) when those suspect owl sounds morphed into a voice says everything. I've never seen a more obvious "WTF" expression on a dog! Speaking of suspect owl sounds: I've seen some comments regarding the likelihood of sasquatch activity both in that specific wooded area and the entire UK. There is no shortage of first-hand accounts taking place in the UK, and that doesn't include the people who never tell a soul for fear of ridicule. Some folks like to speak about the supposed necessary components of a sasquatch habitat as if they were talking about Grizzly bears or beavers or something. Sasquatch is not that, and sasquatch are everywhere. One of the all time favorite hobbies of the sasquatch is people-watching, and that only happens near people. Some are definitely in remote areas, but some are in cities, and a great deal of them are in suburban areas, outskirts of small towns, farming communities, etc. I've personally seen them a number of times, the most recent being in a small wooded lot behind a Domino's pizza, close enough they could spit on the delivery vehicles if they wanted. This Domino's is smack-dab in the center of a town (in middle TN) of just over 13k people, between a government building and a carwash. These are people-- of the strange and mysterious variety, that we know basically nothing about. What I DO know is they are everywhere and if more people knew what to look for they'd discover what or who is right under their nose.

It's interesting because the place you were at in 4:20 this video, seems to be the exact same spot you felt creeped out and sat down in the previous video at 6:00. In school a kid that I knew, Glen, organised a camping trip so his Dad took him and a bunch of their friends out camping in the Aussie bush. One of the boys invited was Frank, whose family moved to our small country town from Ghana, Africa a few years earlier. I forget the details but basically they had to pack up and come home in the middle of the night because while he went off to take a leak, Frank ran back to the camp screaming and crying because he saw a man that was "all white" just staring at him. I remembered at the time how aboriginals used to wear ochre paint and feathers and stuff all over their bodies for ceremonies. No one in our area was doing that traditional stuff any more so if it was an aboriginal then it had to be a ghost. Still makes my blood run cold to think about.

Honestly, I'm over 35 and I get weird vibes from certain spots in my own home. I can't blame you for getting weird vibes from a tree in the woods. Especially if you're out there by yourself, more or less. I'm a believer-leaning skeptical about ghosts and all that, but even if it's just that there's people out there sometimes, people can be dangerous and scary as much as (if not more) than anything else. I know quite a few Witches personally and I've seen a few things that'll make your neck hairs stand on end. Respect the fact your body is telling you something is not right and leave that place. My bet is it is a gathering place for witches, maybe even a coven's grounds, possibly even going as far back as Cunning folk. Either way it's best to pay attention to what your body is telling you and to respect that there are just some places you should not go. Apart from that great video, I like how you analyse the situation.
Not my intention honestly, regardless of how these two videos have blown up. I’m not going to look to make horror style stuff, just document my camps. That said, I’m returning here tonight to close the saga with a camp :)
Hi Thomas. I live in Washington state,Bigfoot country. I once lived in the English countryside too and enjoyed many walks in the woods there. I can’t imagine Bigfoot living in those woods because it’s not dense enough much less enough food. We have had well over 800 sightings and some places a human cannot even reach. I'm hoping to go back now that we have an rv, and look closer and be more aware. Thank you for commenting, I've always wanted to see your country btw ❤️

Cheers Thomas. Dogs make excellent biological sensors, your dog wasn't bothered by the 'bigfoot nest' so I think it's just a den made by teenagers to drink cider in and have a kiss & a cuddle. I'm not into camping so I may not sub and stick around (I did hit like) however you're good on video and if you were to consider camping in some of Britain's paranormal hot-spots then I'd certainly stick around. Yes, there are many on UA-cam doing the paranormal camping videos but they're not all good and there's enough high-strangeness to go around. I dare you to camp in Broxa Forest or Cannock Chase. Good luck with your future endeavors.
He put it there on purpose. He pinned his own reply saying that he put an “easter egg” in the video and to keep an eye out for it. That white ghost was it.
As soon as I saw that tree my spine was like, yep, that's the center of the heebies. Must be an old old soul, maybe a guardian, not fond of unwelcome visitors
I'm pretty sure that's an overgrown male holly bush. Usually, they are trees of protection so it may have been planted there to protect or warn off something. It's odd that it seems to be the only one in the area you walked.
I replayed that part too, maybe that was the Easter egg that was mentioned. Archie just came running from that spot, he would of sensed something if something was around. Was a creepy tree though

Hi Thomas, I watched all the videos involving this woods, and others of yours 😁 when I started my channel I was a bit apprehensive because You Tube had tons of videos with thumbnails saying “there is someone outside my tent” or, “I had to leave” what I noticed was this ‘trend’ to attract viewers 🙄 one even added in fake footsteps noises of dry leaves when they were in a damp woods!! I didn’t get too spooked by the first one, but as soon as I saw that tree (before you said anything), I got actual chills and thought “I hope he doesn’t go near that tree, there’s something wrong about that.” And a moment later you made the comment on how creeped out it made you feel. Halfway through the vid so idk if you figure out what exactly it is, but there is honestly something not right about that spot. I feel it in my bones/lizard brain.
The second that tree first became visible in your video, even before you noticed it yourself, I immediately got a major creepy vibe. Something is definitely off with that place.
Something happened their a long time ago that's why that specific area is overgrown with bush surrounded by grass fields. The height of the trees are an indication of cover-up and how long ago ..... I'm talking ancient. I have strong intuition that's instant and has never failed me. What happened is difficult to pin, but I definitely know you're not welcome there. Unless you're up for attachments.

Not sure if he realized that, but I'm officially creeped out now 😅
Pareidolia!
Why never look too hard into the trees?
@@Zan4833because you freak yourself out! Pareidolia:
Pareidolia is the phenomenon in which people see faces or other patterns in ambiguous images, such as Jesus on toast or the man in the moon
@@Zan4833this happens a lot during twilight hours as everything looks grey. Creepiest part of the day in the woods.
This is fantastic advice you’ve been there haven’t you?
The fact that the tree looks so visibly different gets me, I would probably observe it for a while from a distance. For science, and hate every second.
Yeah I agree, that tree gotta hold at least some strange significance. It’s even got an eerie appearance to be honest.
Yeah that’s what I was thinking too. It’s like it’s engulfed in vines a mesh, but either way it looks alien to the forest it’s in.

So I’m not the only one getting “Get out of my yard” Fae vibes

God this was annoying to read.

@sapphyre8646 I did not think of that that actually makes a lot of sense.
That large tree looked bushier with darker leaves. The first thing I thought was maybe a dead body decayed under it, fertilizing it.

Well said.
You can interpret anything into everything if you try hard enough. The most likely solution is often the simplest. There's something wrong with the battery itself, potentially it discharges itself too quickly by warming up (had that happen before)
Maybe it’s a ‘thin place’ we have them all over Ireland - be careful! People have slipped through and end up as one of the ‘missing 411’s’
Might be a better place 🤷🏼♂️
I've researched missing 411 David pauladis. There so many stories about missing people in national parks and always in weird circumstances. First recorded was in yosemite 1939. I find it all so intriguing.
'Thin place' is the best description I've heard for it.
@@dewey70I go missing in one that shi best be named a thicc place
Yes, it is darker. That's because it's a holly tree, and they have dark green leaves. Wake up!
@JulianJLW you seem to be indifferent to all our animal senses, they are myriad
@@junebrilly5302even better, he's using his intellect instead of blindly following instinct like most animals
@athmaid sad that you feel that way, lacking any connection to sentient animal intelligence other than human
SO much fun! Thanks for the little scare!
I think he stumbled on some nasty ritual site.
listening to a high quality sound system on the last video will explain it
lol the little ghost while your talking about not turning this into a ghost channel is funny
The tree seems to be the darkest thing there, everything else seems to be pretty bright, it's primordial.goes way back in time...
That tree seems to absorb all the light around it. It looms darker than the entire surrounding forest. Very strange
Yes. It's a holly tree, which has dark leaves. No mystery there.
@JulianJLW OK Boomer still unsettling though
It’s called Gravel Wood for a reason - historic energy lingering no doubt. Always listen to your instincts that’s what they’re there for. 100% did right thing!
"Gravel" wood.
Where is it?
All I could hear was a voice in my head saying ‘stay TF away from that tree mate’.
may i ask what creepy tree are you talking about?
nvm i found the creepy tree
It's a holly tree. They often look like that. Nothing unusual. You need to get out more.
@@JulianJLW "Holly" wood. The Druids used to make their wands out of the Holly Berry plant or Holly tree is I remember the story correctly for "Spell Casting." Casting spells through movies.
@monitor1725 no wonder hollywood is so cursed lol
It will be interesting to see what it feels like if you and a mate go back and do an overnighter. Creepy that you still had chills. Thanks for sharing. :) :)
You should get a couple trail cams and set them up around that tree
Absolutely agree!! 💯
sasquatch is not even real , it was probably a farmer or something he heard
Sasquatch 😂 get real
Feral people.....not sasquatch
@@curiositypiqued6573 I wasn't talking about feral people. I was talking about Sasquatch (Sabe, Bigfoot, Forrest People, the Tall Ones, etc.) They are in fact people, but not feral.
It's interesting because the place you were at in 4:20 this video, seems to be the exact same spot you felt creeped out and sat down in the previous video at 6:00. You can see the thick tree trunk and tall dark bush in the previous video too. The dog seemed to keep looking between that tree with the thick trunk and the dark looming shrub. Might be worth checking out the history of the land or asking local farmers in the area. And thanks for creeping me out this late in the evening 😅
I can't imagine the dread you must have felt when you stood near that tree. Just seeing that tree in this video made me feel like I'm staring at the bottom of a ravine, I can't explain why.
I went back to the previous video to see if the tree made an appearance and it was on camera right when you said it felt a little blair witch so that timing was on point.
Before you even brought it up, I was feeling something weird about that tree. You mentioned bringing your friends. If you do, don't tell them anything and see if they bring anything up.
9:27 the little ghostie scared the shite out of me!🤣😂🤣😂
I know one place i call Wendigo woods. Deep in a forest gorge the trees suddenly go dense and dark, you can never hear birds in there. Always have the feeling of being watched in there.
Where is it???
watching all the way from New Zealand, keep up the awesome work!
That tree looks more like a hiding spot for something. 😮
Or IT IS something in disguise....like the missing 411 stories/lore of national parks etc and the "predators" that supposedly are glimmer people like in interdimensional like in predator junhle wawa in the film
Love the wee ghost👻😂
That's what I thought too 😂
Dude, I can't explain it but, before you said anything, that dark tree or group of trees have me the same chill in my lower back but, more than that, my eyes keep watering every time you point the camera that way. I've spent so much time in odd places and felt some really 'off' vibes but this takes the cake. I don't know what it is but you wouldn't catch me in there without a buddy and a tool.
Your channel was randomly recommended got to say love the content . Nice to see an honest guy doing the stuff he loves keep up the content
@9:27 almost got me bro lol I'm glad i read the comments first 😅😂
you just scared the hell out of me and gave me some horrendous goosebumps in what i assume was the easter egg moment...ffs didnt need that lol
Beautiful springer spaniel
9:26 YOU ARSE LMAO Golly you got me to jump a lil 🤣
Oh but fr that tree is off, just a pillar of shroud/darkness that probably sparked many a tale of how darkness oozes from that when night falls.
Every time I’m watching a video on UA-cam I instantly switch to yours when you upload mate loving it keep it up 💪
Hah that's so nice, thank you!!
Well like someone pointed out, If you feel like something is off, Why Stay? You won't enjoy yourself and you'll just continue to get spooked!
Trust your Gut, Trust Your Dog!
Trust your gut, trust your dog, don't go back if it feels like you shouldn't be there.
Bro was like “I’m never going back! It freaked me the fuck out!”
Then he saw the numbers.
Bro, if you ever get that feeling you gotta trust it.
Laughed out loud at the spooky music
I know quite a few Witches personally and I've seen a few things that'll make your neck hairs stand on end. Respect the fact your body is telling you something is not right and leave that place. My bet is it is a gathering place for witches, maybe even a coven's grounds, possibly even going as far back as Cunning folk. Either way it's best to pay attention to what your body is telling you and to respect that there are just some places you should not go. Apart from that great video, I like how you analyse the situation.
I was just commenting on your last video, but I now understand what kind of stuff you do. Good luck to you and cheers
Bigfoot is a master at hiding and no one has ever found any dens or caves they may hide /live in. They are very intelligent and so far quite harmless…..so far. I enjoyed your video and check out Bigfoot in Washington state.
I respect your comment pls know, and I agree. But I have to wonder if he was in part of their territory even though it wasn't a dense area with water etc. Seems there's more forest beyond that point, just a suggestion. I'm sure you've seen other videos where they're out in plain sight doing things, walking through etc. Just wondering what you're opinion is, sharing my thoughts. I wish I could see one before I leave this world, I know they're there and I believe ❤
@@Kellz58 Hi 👋 thanks for your comment. Living in England, once upon a time, I walked in the forests there a lot but they were very small and you couldn’t get lost in one if you tried. From the knowledge I’m learning about Bigfoot they really desire those massive dense forests. Places where humans have likely never set foot in and we have so many areas like that here. I believe they see us before we see them and are curious creatures only. Unless you live in a forest or you home is backed up to a forest you might see or hear one. I hope you get to see one someday but I think I might have a ❤️attack!!!
@@Kellz58There’s a commonality in terrain and wildlife in places where Sasquatches frequent and where there’s a long history of encounters. England just doesn’t have what they need and I’ve never heard of encounters there.
If you want an encounter I recommend some camping in the Mark Twain National Forest, Daniel Boone National Forest, or any wilderness in the PNW👍
@missblackwood I'm in a lush state, and I have had a few experiences unexplained myself. We have camped over the yrs, but my healths declined. I am certain however they're where I've been. It's only been recently they've made it more clear to me they are, and the state parks were quieter when they happened. So I'm not completely sure, but almost. I'm hoping to go back now that we have an rv, and look closer and be more aware. Thank you for commenting, I've always wanted to see your country btw ❤️
@@Kellz58An RV is fantastic. You definitely don’t need to “rough it” to have an experience! Oddly enough campgrounds are a great place to be. Hope you have many more adventures!
I love in the first like 15 seconds Archie just runs RIGHT to your camera setup on the ground before you pull him away hahah!
Lol am I the only one who put it on high def to watch it? Pretty sure there was ghostiies at every turn. Welldone. Very entertaining 🎉
At 9:25 a white ghost 👻 appears behind you. Wow
Yes I saw that too!
Holy shyte! Good eye
Was almost believable until this, all fake now for views
He put it there on purpose. He pinned his own reply saying that he put an “easter egg” in the video and to keep an eye out for it. That white ghost was it.
Just foliage??? I can't see anything its possibly just brighter vegetation and leaves etc
Did you know a white ghost appeared on your left shoulder? I had to rewind the video and watch it again to make sure I wasn't 👀 seeing things!
@user-bz3mp7jm1y @ 9:26 / 9:27.
👻
I replayed that part too, maybe that was the Easter egg that was mentioned. Archie just came running from that spot, he would of sensed something if something was around. Was a creepy tree though

Omg, I went back and saw it, so clear.

Hey man I just found your channel
I’ve recently been watching Bigfoot videos and the shelters totally look like Bigfoot shelters
Stay safe out there mate
Lol the ghost was a nice touch
So interesting. I felt something before you even mentioned that tree and I'm not sure why
I love that tree. But I would definitely go out of my way to be on my best behavior, sincere, and courteous. And wary, too.
We are in the States. We saw your first video and that you lost your job and loved your dog so we subscribed. Can’t wait to see what you get into next. Wishing you the best Tom btw we live around nothing but farms here in Northern Michigan and I can personally say that I have never heard a cow sound anything like that. We also have pig farms, horses and some sheep and the only things that I could think of that may sound like that are people calling in their livestock or maybe a Bigfoot 😂. Stay safe Mr Tom and we are looking forward to more adventures with you and your dog.
Someone else definitely thought it would be fun to camp there.
Done that a few times my self, made TPs, lean-tos, fire pits. I really shoumd go back to those places and see of any of tje sticks are still standing 10+ years later.
4:59 nothing to fear here just random metal squeaking sound in the middle of an empty forest 💀
4:28 there are so many witch trees here
Hi Thomas, I watched all the videos involving this woods, and others of yours 😁 when I started my channel I was a bit apprehensive because You Tube had tons of videos with thumbnails saying “there is someone outside my tent” or, “I had to leave” what I noticed was this ‘trend’ to attract viewers 🙄 one even added in fake footsteps noises of dry leaves when they were in a damp woods!! But you.. you are definitely experiencing these gut feelings. I was in a woods doing a review on one of my new tents, this woods and village had history. I’ve been to these woods several times, there was zilch issues apart from my full battery Go Pro shutting down 🤷♂️ I pick up on a lot of things like you.
4:57- 5:02
While your scanning right, i see 3 + shadows, move, and duck behind trees!
The best one seen right at 4:59, on the right side of svreen, watch it in slow motion, you can LITERALLY SEE ALL THE SHADOWS CROUCH OR TURN AND DIP BEHIND TREES!!
7:23 watch just over your right shoulder, A "ghost" stops, looks at you, then puts it's head down and keeps walking, dissappearing....I've seen many ghosts behind you as you walk away here, but you can see this black woman looking shadow near your shoulder....see
9:26 hahaha that was funny
I didn’t get too spooked by the first one, but as soon as I saw that tree (before you said anything), I got actual chills and thought “I hope he doesn’t go near that tree, there’s something wrong about that.” And a moment later you made the comment on how creeped out it made you feel. Halfway through the vid so idk if you figure out what exactly it is, but there is honestly something not right about that spot. I feel it in my bones/lizard brain.
The second that tree first became visible in your video, even before you noticed it yourself, I immediately got a major creepy vibe. Something is definitely off with that place.
yes like big time, when I feel it thru the camera and monitor... I got real deep strong chills
We have such areas all over the place here in Germany. You're reading too much into it
@athmaid ok, I'll remember not to read too much into things for next time. Wouldn't want to piss you off ..... you know.
