I love ALL of the new Belle Tress Blondes!! The City Collection is fantastic🤗 It should be the law of the land that all wigs have Velcro adjusters!!! Santa Barbara looks beautiful on you!! The layering is perfect❤❤❤❤ Great comparison video😁
Watching this video again - so stunning I can’t wait to get mine - I suspect when it gets old and tired you could do beach waves - and that would be stunning too
I received my Santa Barbara in Milkshake R oh my gosh!! I love it. So fun. The color is gorgeous. I wouldn’t mind if it was more thicker but I love it. Thank you Taz for reviewing it.
thank you for modeling and explaining this style and color. I so wish there were platinum blondes without roots in this style. Thanks for all your efforts.
Great review! I'm surprised! I didn't expect Milkshake Blonde R to be so bright! Loving the caramel-y lowlights. Edit to say I didn't realize that 12 was the base. Whoa. It's so bright I thought that 23 was the base color with all that highlighting. The 12 looks warm but I don't think 12 is actually that warm of a color. Overall it looks neutral to cool. Also the cut is amazing. I didn't get a sense of what those layers can do in the stock photos. Thanks for reviewing to show us!
Hi Michelle! I was so shocked that Milkshake Blonde R was so different from the color swatch, I thought it may be mislabeled! I had to check it against the other pieces I ordered in that color and they were all the same. Thanks so much for the remarks!! XOXO
Wow you look beautiful in this wig!! I have alopecia, and up until now I've been able to "cover the spots", but it has come to a point where now is the time for me to wear a wig, and this particular style is exactly the way my bio hair was styled. Just beautiful! I love your videos!!
Sassy little style! Love it❤❤❤ Would you agree Milkshake-R is the coolest color you’ve reviewed in this collection? Many gorgeous blondes to choose from
Ive never been a die hard shag lover, but this is so beautiful, as are SOmany in the City Collection. I usually dont care for warm blondes but the first one truly is neutral. I actually love both of them! Im going to have an excessively long "drool list" with the new releases and the City collection
Really love BT colors and soft fibers. This new collection is so cute. I am apprehensive about buying BT wigs as the last two I purchased are already very damaged after a couple weeks of wear. Did follow usual care tips of using detangling spray to comb the wigs out at night and every other wear added conditioning spray. Tried using heat with wig thermal protectant spray. First wash I used bamboo deep conditioner which helped, but the ends were still so dry. I had same issue with Rachel Welch Pretty Please wig, the ends are so bad I will need to trim them a little so the wig doesn't get so matted. I've only worn Pretty Please a few times, but had to do a lot of restoration to get rid of cold set issues when I received it. I won't purchase wigs in the summer here in the hot desert region, I believe that is the reason for extreme cold set issue I had with Pretty Please. Could it be the dry desert climate isn't good on these heat friendly fibers, anyone know?
Taz, you do such a great job with your reviews & a wonderful service to help all of us! Thank you. Do you think Belle Tress will ever soften the heavy & dark colored root area? It almost ruins so many of their styles because they make it so dominant. My opinion anyway.
Lovely wig and shades. So glad you are reviewing all these new BT blondes! Does the beige linen R have any yellow in it? It may be the lighting. Yellow shades dont look good on me. The butterbeer blonde was too ashy for my skin tone so do you think the Milkshake blonde would be very similar? Thanks ❤ x
Hello! Yes, Milkshake is nearly the same as Butterbeer. There is a hint of warmth in the beige linen, some people see any warmth as "yellow". Hope this helps! XOXO
Thank you so much for sharing this review. I bought Santa Barbara and got her in the mail last week. How did you get it to stay away from the face?? I have worked on mine and it still flops down in the face 🥴
Hi Taz, I commented the other day and you replied, but I have another question please. I'm looking for a hair comb suitable to use to style my wigs, and I cant find the Lulu Kellogg ones on Etsy as I'm based in UK. I wondered how many prongs does your lulu Kellogg comb have? I may need to look for something similar which wont damage the fibres. Thanks 🙏❤
11:59 I love the colors from the City Collection. There certainly is a fabulous variety of beautiful blondes! I appreciate the upgraded caps, too! The new Café Collection is coming too, giving us more variety! The only negative is the color palette for some ( not me, I hope). I will try one in Cool Champagne and Burnt Biscuit to determine if the colors are close to my favorites in JR & RW, Palm Springs Blonde, and Shaded Biscuit. It's very pricey, so I gotta go S-L-O-W! That's a major issue on Lux, as it is more expensive than other prestige brands. For me, I wonder if now is the time to consider human hair blends or remy human hair (?) Back to the City Collection. I can't stand too much hair in my face, so I am probably going for Laguna Beach! I am awaiting your as always great review of her, Taz, to be sure.😊❤🎉
I'm very hung up on Jackson, I have to admit. There is almost no other wig that has that kind of shaping. But I do love this one, and this one approaches that sweet spot for me. Thank you for showing this beautiful wig.
Hi Taz, I hope you're doing well? I was wondering if you've also worn Santa Barbara or any other longer style from the new City Collection by Belle Tress (longer than just for the review) and if you've noticed anything about the new fibers? I also have Santa Barbara and loved it first, but the fibers are behaving really strangely after just a couple of hours and don't look good any more. They clump together, look greasy and stick out. I didn't put any product in at all, and keep combing her all day. When I filmed my review, I didn't notice it, but after wearing her for a couple of hours, I'm really disappointed and don't know whether it's just mine or whether this is something that affects all the new styles? I'd love to hear about your experience. Hugs, Sarah 💕
Hi there, Sarah! That is strange! I've worn my Santa Barbara a ton... no issues yet! Ive also worn Los Angeles and Newport with no issues, but they are above the shoulder. I can keep you posted and report any changes. All my blessings 🤩🤩🤩
@@TAZSWIGCLOSET Thank you so much for your quick reply, Taz! 🤩 Yes, I also think it's strange, since nobody else said anything about that issue. So I suppose it's just with the one I received. I heard they use some new oil they treat the fibers with, so they tangle less, and maybe they used a little too much on mine? She's just taking a long warm bath now.😁 I'll condition her afterwards and wear her again tomorrow, to see if anything changes. I'll keep you posted, too, if you like! Hugs 🤗🥰
This is what I wish Rene Of Paris would do with Laine - instead of the machine wefted top!!!! That monofilament parting space makes an enormous difference
This style comes in lots of colors.. an unrooted blonde would be the Cake Batter Blonde which is Beige Linen Blonde without the root. Links in description XOXO
There are several news styles in the BT City Line that I really love, but I am being honest, IMHO, they have regressed with their color selection. The Cafe Collection has so many more dynamic color choices, and not one of their City Line colors appeal to me. It's very disappointing. Hopefully, they will expand their color choices in the City Line, as I will not be ordering any of the new styles with the current, limited color choices. Thanks, as always, for your great content and reviews.
You seem to gravitate toward the rooted wigs. I guess it might be generational (I’m 73) but it was almost a sin to show roots. I still think roots look awful.
Thank you for your videos! You are delightful and each wig looks great on you. Lots of good advice/information on your videos.
Thank you so much for the kind comments! Blessings! 🥰🥰🥰
Great Wig Style, Love both Colors
Gorgeous on you 😙🤗💖💝🐈🐈🐈

Taz, hands down, you’re the BEST for modeling wigs!! I absolutely love this style on you. 💖
Thank you for the kind remarks! I adore this style too! 🥰🥰🥰
@@TAZSWIGCLOSET You’re welcome!! I love to wear wigs for fun and accessorizing. Please show more low density styles in the length of this wig.

I received my Santa Barbara in Milkshake R oh my gosh!! I love it. So fun. The color is gorgeous. I wouldn’t mind if it was more thicker but I love it. Thank you Taz for reviewing it.

Both look beautiful Taz! 😍

Fabulous style I was surprised how bright the milkshake blonde is 🩷
Me too! I thought it was mislabeled until I saw a few other pieces! 🥰🥰🥰
Looks fabulous on you, milk shake on you is even more gorgeous

Very cute! I'm getting Rachel from Friends vibes!!

Bravo to belle tress. Velcro adjusters! Yay! I hated those bra strap things. Uncomfortable!
That's a beautiful wig. I love the style

Beautiful Taz…I keep going back and forth between this one and Malibu…have you reviewed that one yet?
Hi Kathleen! I will be reviewing Malibu very soon! I’m struck by how precise and flattering the layering is on these new styles! Hugs! 🥰🥰🥰

Looks like an upgraded Jackson by Noriko! Beautiful on you!

Loved the style, and the platinum is gorgeous. BTW: The phrase, "Petite headed people" sounds so much nicer than "Big headed people" like me. LOL
Ha! Maybe I should call my large headed friends, “big brained people”..lol! Hugs! 🥰😍😘

Would you agree Milkshake-R is the coolest color you’ve reviewed in this collection? Many gorgeous blondes to choose from
Yes, Milkshake Blonde R & Crushed Almond R seem very close in terms of its "cool-ness" XOXO

Temperature definitely has an impact on fibers! Synthetic hair fiber is vulnerable to heat. Heat can change a form of the style quickly. XOXO
The Beige Linen Santa Barbara is Christie Brinkley hair. 😊
Yes, so flattering! 🥰🥰🥰

This Milkshake Blonde with a lighter root would be the perfect color!( maybe an 18 root)
Thanks for the comments! XOXO

Yes, its a mid length shag just like Jackson, but with more bells and whistles! XOXO
I love the style and Belle Tress. I could see this becoming my everyday wig. For me, the roots are too dark.
