Nat Bartsch writes about the piece:
Bart Tricky Matilda Frankie (or Frank for short) was my family's black cat. Frank's full name was chosen by my son Wil, named after the characters in Alison Lester's children's book Trickys' Bad Day.
Coincidentally, Frank joined our family at a time where there were many bad days: he was a pandemic pet. After many months waiting for our appointment at the Lost Cat's Home, my 4yo son and I brought Frank home just before Christmas 2021.
Frank was mischevious, extremely bossy, sometimes charming and always handsome. Sadly, aged 1year old, he died very suddenly of suspected poisoning.
The loss of Frank was very sad, not just because he was so young, but because his death occurred during separation from my husband.
This piece is a memorial lullaby for Frank, but also a processing of griet. As I move into a new and better future, it's a moment to farewell the old, and those missed moments with my children (both human and furry).

Really well played Roy! Sensitive and beautiful
This is an interesting musical composition with nice harmonies and rhythmic patterns.
