Going from zero to 2000 in less than 3 years is crazy Impressive . I feel like that's only possible when you devote your time to studying chess and also playing regularly. I've been playing casually for about 4yrs and I have never reached 1500 on any format 😂. Though my game reviews show I play like a 2000+ player sometimes but I can't seem to cross 1500 on my actual rating.
You're right... Lots of practice and game reviews. One or two errors fixed as you review each game and before you know it... BOOM!!! You hit it. Keep going Man. You can do it.
Thank you very much. Your story inspired me not to lose hope.
@@darenmil I’m glad to hear that. You’ll improve for sure. Keep going💪
Thanks for the genuine video! Greatly motivatiobal and congrats on 2000+
Start dual stream on YT, please!
Hi,
I can tell you've been watching Gotham, Your celebration at hitting 2000 , he would have been proud of !
Yasss!!!!! I hope he's proud of me Lol
damn, didn't expect this video to explode, nicely done, hopefully some of these guys come to twitch/discord
Yes @@zigzy2967 we will keep growing. Slowly but surely
Idk what this variation was, I guess the blunder variation 😅
Super inspiring to watch, and exciting to see you react to breaking 2000..
@@grahamdugan thanks man 🙏
Great video
Wow , your opponent hung his queen, and you hit 2000 rapid!
Have you ever read any chess books ,or is your knowledge via online sources?
If so what books would you recommend ?
Thanks
I've tried reading books but never finished any Lol... But I'm beginning to get back into studying books again. Majority of my knowledge is from online resources. Watching Hikaru is like a daily thing now, I'm also beginning to look at historical games and studying them. Chesscoms lessons have also been helpful
Congrats uche💯
Thanks John
That first game 🤣🤣🤣
Still watching and i know you improved, but that first game brightened up my day. 😃
Lol… I’m glad to hear that Lol
Congrats mate
@@AussieCricketOnTop Thanks man

My pleasure
That's really great progress Uche. Do you have anymore goals to go further in chess? maybe 2200? or 2300? or higher? and if you do, do you have a study plan/routine in mind for that?
Surely I do, my goal is to get to at least 2500 on chess.com and to get a title in chess, at least FM, maybe more Lol
Nice one, Kennedy
Thanks Ivan!

Yes! 1511 classical after one event. I’m sure mmh actual performance is much higher by now but I’ll know by the time I play the next tournament
bro, how many hours you played every day on average?
@@tawseeftaher9109 not every single day, but I’ll say 3 hours on most days. That includes watching Hikaru or Gotham. I watch them almost daily

Very Nice❤❤❤❤🎉
Thank youuu Jim
How do I find thematic puzzles? I am also thematically aloof. Themes are chasing me but I am much faster 😂😂😂
Lmao 😂😂 Under the puzzles section on chess.com, there is 'custom puzzles'. Click on that.
@@uchekennedyYT thanks for answering. I have seen that list before but I don't know what themes apply to my games (for example Jobava, Dutch, Caro) how did you figure out what themes apply to your game. I can see Alekein tactic has the same name as the opening, but what about the rest?
@@assaqwwq Ohhh… they don’t all quite have names like that. You know what, if you catch me live at 8pm EST, I’ll take a 15 minutes and go through which ones you should be doing for whatever openings you play.
@@uchekennedyYT ah that is in the middle of the night. if it gets recorded to twitch, then I will watch it as soon as I wake up :D
Where are you from?
Hey, I am Nigerian, currently living in St. Vincent
@@uchekennedyYT Whoah, nice work if you can get it! Stay out of them hurricanes.
2.5 years is a very good result for an adult. Although I belive it's still a level of a beginner, most people can't achieve since they don't have time or use wrong techniques
