I ride my Yamaha Wabash RT as often as I can. The MSRP is $4200. I paid $1700. Yamaha also giving me a free battery. Both these factors enhance the joy of using my Yamaha e-bike.
Yamaha does have a great deal on the Wabash right now! I am tempted to get one, but the weight of the bike is holding me back! I worry it would be too heavy to carry up and down two flights of stairs or to lift on to a hitch rack.
Amazing they're blowing these things out so cheap! How much are they losing on each one? But they weigh 40+ lbs so who wants one at MSRP? Bianchi E-Impulso Allroads are much lighter and being heavily discounted (just bought another one) as Mahle's X30 replaces X35. I love the used one I bought two years ago so buying another (to keep at another location as these things are a PITA to ship/transport) was a no-brainer. EU rules limit them to 25 kph but I use the assist only when going uphill so it's enough for me...the rest of the time I pedal as a normal (but a bit heavy) bike
@@TysRides I agree! I’m just concerned about how it would function for the multi uses I am looking for. It’s missing good hard mounting options and I’d like to use the bike to commute, grocery, and bike pack. Salsa beats it in being able to add racks. But salsa range is pretty short for if I’m trying to bike pack. What do you think? It would mostly be used as a joy commuter since I already have a salsa vaya that I love
I think you said you don’t like the looks of a mid drive motor but from my study of e-bikes it’s the best type just so you know ❤ I have a 2023 Specialized Turbo Vado 4.0 Super Light 🎉
I'm sold on MAHLE hub motors! Feels like a real bicycle when the assist isn't being used. The mid-motors I tried felt like my pedaling efforts were being wasted turning a bunch of stuff inside the motor rather than 100% being used to turn the rear wheel like with MAHLE.
Pinarello. It's for people who daily drive a Porsche and think it's an inexpensive car. For us common folk, it just looks like it's trying too hard. I'd take a Salsa or a Niner over a Pinarello. But I'm just a poor dude.
I am literally between this and the gt egrade for a commuter. I can’t make the decision yet and might just wait for the weather to pick back up in the north east. 😂

8k subscribers, nice!
I'm ballin Steve. Spread the word. Got to get to 10k!
Curious to learn more about the salsa confluence and grizl. Wish I could find a floor model of either
@benjaminmartin8646 everything about the Grizl is cool. I like the look of the bike and they have good paint schemes.

Yea, absolutely they are the best and I've heard give most realistic ride feel. I don't mind the looks of some of them.

@Poolside_Chat ha! I almost said in the video, "Pinarello, you doin too much and you're extra".
This is ridiculous! The Topstone Lefy is by far the best looking bike on the planet!!!!
@zacharyelgin6194 that bike looks like shit.
Just can't get over the look of that one-legged front end, sorry!
