  • Real quick I misspoke I meant to say I spray them from head to end of tail, not toe:) Anyway this might be the last clutch of Cayman Brac rock iguanas we produce. It was an ideal I got 15 years ago to just keep the Cyclura Nubila caymanensis (Sister Isle rock iguanas) going into the pet trade. They are a threatened species and need to stay pure. I have been lucky enough to sell 3 pairs, and maybe out of the 3 more will come into this world. My city has made it illegal for me to have more then 10 reptiles and I need 20 or 30 babies a year to help with all my expense's like heating, enclosures and food. I have been lucky enough to have produced over 40 babies so that helps. I could produce more this year, but would have to have dedicated buyer's. Since I believe them to be the smartest reptile species it would be nice to see their intelligence grow. Sophies baby girl will either be spoiled by me or sold for someone else to spoil her, shes a cutie. I always miss my babies, but I cant keep them all, I could only wish.

I'm just glad you found homes for so many of them! I would have loved to adopt one, but I don't have the space or time for both an already full grown Tegu and an iguana. Responsibility trumps temptation.

Artemis and Lucky babies were hatched between August 24 through 27 2022. You will also get a certificate of hatch with the little girl, which is growing fast! Thanks for watching

What kind of worms are they?

Thses are kingworms or super worms. They generally cost 10 or 15 dollars for 100, Remember I just use them for training and when they are young or when they are laying eggs. The Green Iguana Society says to much animal protein can lead to fatty liver. I do believe they eat more animal protein then green iguanas because of what I see them hunt and eat in my outdoor enclosures. I will give you a care sheet when you get your little girl. And remember you can always text me for any concerns you may have.
