E' sicuramente un grande cantante, solo che a differenza di 20 anni fa, ora ci sono altri falsettisti/controtenori altrettanto bravi, per cui, come dire, non è più unico come venti anni fa ... tuttavia resta nella rosa degli eletti. Nei cast che si presentano per presentare le opere barocche a leggere il suo nome come "Primo Uomo" si vede già che c'è un altissimo livello, ma si è molto curiosi per magari i "secondi uomini" interpretati da "sconosciuti o meno conosciuti". Grazie particolare per "Agitato da fiere tempeste" dal Riccardo Primo, che riscatto rispetto la versione degli anni 90....

If only we could have heard the castratri, the great castratri ! I know, in my heart, they did not sound like these counter-tenors who don't even have trills. Franco Fagioli is the exception.
@Roop1962 :: Unlike hummingbird tongues, the people who live in the 17th and 18th centuries left detailed descriptions of the greatest voices of the castratri. Who not only vocally performed but played instruments and improvised as they performed.
