I love seeing comments like these. Because to us Finns, the war was about ideology, not race. Unlike with the nazis. They were all about race, they just blatantly hated slavs. We as finns, we hated the ideology and the government behind it. That's it. I have love for the russian people! They've been through a lot and they're good people, nothing against them.
@@Mr.Truxton the nazi hated bolsheviks actually hitler disguted the communist
@@cyrosubod2317 Well yes, but he was a socialist too, so Nazism wasn't actually that far from communism. Nazism was basically just more racist communism. His main problem with the slavs was that he just legitimately thought them inferior. Untermenchen, subhuman. We finns didn't believe in any of their racial crap. For instance, we always treated jewish people rather well, we even had jewish soldiers.

Damn that there are many anti-finnish voices on the internet today who are very similar to Tiltu and Äikiä. They should listen to this song.
I do belive the second of those two is supposed to be Äitiä not Äikiä.
As Äiti = Mother. the song is saying that they should have listened to Tiltu and their Mother.
Also Tiltu is prob referring to a person called Aino Kallio who was spouting propaganda on the radio to Finnish soldiers.
@@JustMaxim37 Armas Äikiä was a communist and a traitor who took part in the soviet-controlled puppet government of Finland that was supposed take power after soviet conquest of Finland in the winter war. Tiltu was a soviet propagandist who many finns made fun of because of her out of touch approach to demoralizing finnish soldiers during the continuation war. The soviet propaganda was in general so out of touch with how common people saw the war that the finnish authorities did not even bother to prevent soldiers listening to it because they knew it to have the opposite effect than intended.
This song makes a reference to how blatant and ridiculous the soviet propagnda was perceived as.
