Summer School 2023

A selection of photos from our Summer School 2023.
The 2023 Summer School was on the topic Exploring Fifteenth and Sixteenth Century Dance from Italy. It ran from Friday 14th to Friday 21st July with the option of a weekend course from Friday 14th to Monday 17th July 2023 at Bromsgrove School, Bromsgrove, West Midlands.
The music accompanying the slides is Mercantia. Mercantia is available on the CD “Ballare et Danzare”recorded for the HDS collection "Ballare et Danzare: Dances of 15th Century Italy".
The CD is available as a download or hard copy from the HDS website, as is the accompanying book.

Lovely photos and music! They don't show all the hard work of classes and preparation, but they do show the fun and elegance of the result. I was there for the short course (first weekend only) and learnt a lot from my patient tutor and supportive fellow-students.
