How did you find the Soul 7's? I find they carve well on piste and float well in the powder but they are all I have so I don't really have a comparison
Hi, I liked the soul 7’s overall, they were good on piste and in fresh snow. I was lucky that the week I spent in Briancon/Serre Chevalier had both types of conditions. I was skiing them in a 180ish length, but found they skied short where they have a big tip and tail. This slows their overall speed limit on piste, but it’s a compromise for this type of ski. They carve surprising well and feel pretty stable for a wide ski. I’m pretty excited to get my hands on some black ops at some point, as Rossignol make great free ride skis!
@@todaysnewride4466 yeah my ones are 188 but looking at the effective area they are more of a 176 carving in piste. Was surprised how unlike a powder ski they felt on piste! Keep up the skiing and vids!
@@todaysnewride4466 spent a lot of time on the Steinmannbahn chair when we lucked out with november snow a few years back. The lift line down is fun and not excessively challenging. Peace pow and pines 🤙🏼

Hi, I agree. It’s a very good ski and performs well on piste. Have a great trip and thanks, I have a few more to go up from Obergurgl.
