    Hi
Hope you have a nice time
my name is hosein from iran
I have a question about suspension systems on this car
Is that right that this car had height-adjustable suspension system like cars like citroen xantia,XM,xantia activa,or not?
Thanks if someone here see my comment and help me

No, those cars have hydropneumatic suspension. The 2CV has a swing arm suspension with coil springs

I take it that lowering the ride height simply means flatter cornering?

Yes! Slightly less, otherwise you'll need our stiffer springs .

@@bell1095 I don't work for Burton; do own several old cars (including a 2CV), and build/restore them in the states for others as a side hobby/job.
Tell you this so you have an understanding that I don't say this lightly; there's virtually no way to retrofit this car (early or later) to modern ABS. Most systems have a pre-programmed weight and weight distribution (and are not user adjustable, by normal humans without an incredible amount of programming and physics knowledge), there aren't many disc/drum vehicles similar to the 2CV in size, weight, tire (tyre) size, grip, etc. They just don't exist anymore.
Add to that the challenge of setting wheel speed sensors to the very unique rear axle, and the weight/power needs of a distribution block/ABS pump underhood, and..
It's not impossible, just not going to be easy or remotely profitable to do it. ABS isn't often retrofitted outside of a specific company (I've fitted GM stuff to GMs, for example; often to identical vehicles that got ABS a few years later) but I'd doubt any such corporate sibling exists for the 2CV (Ami/Mehari/etc never had it)
Good news? She stops well, and threshold brakes very predictably, if you have things adjusted right, it's one thing the car is quite good at...
Now off to do an alignment with a piece of string and some tape... Only a Citroen!
