This movie is one of those cases that despite the changes they made from the book to the movie is still was throughly able to enjoy the movie and not be bothered by the changes because it felt like the book. The captured their characters.

hm. a little bit open end. maybe to make this suggar sweet story not to sweet. but i do not like imaginary storys have no happy endings. life is hard enough. it was a bit not logic they did not stay in touch
in the 5 years.
but in the end they repeated the first words. about: i have only one hour. but this one hour 5 years ago did lead them to LOVE. her words at the airplan. so i guess, and i am optimistic, they will make this one hour bigger and keep contact this time.
it seams she have got a chance to stay in USA because of her study visa. and so, also a chance to come back to her beloved new york. where she found love. and a special one. and the feelings did not change in this 5 years. so a hint the love will last.
