The fact that Rya respected Danny and cared enough about it and saw him as a person rather than a patient and fought hard enough for him to get treatment and didn't give up on him shows that she cared about Danny more than his own mom. Not to mention, it shows that society's treatment of those with mental health can improve as long as you respect and care rather than condemn. Be more like Rya. Don't give up on those who are lost!
