Beats Solo Buds: $80 AirPods Alternatives!

- Following their announcement back in late April, the new Beats Solo Buds earbuds are now available to order ahead of their launch later this week. Priced at $79.99, the Solo Buds offer 18 hours of battery life right in the buds themselves and come in the smallest case ever for a Beats earphone product.
We've had a chance to spend a few days with the Beats Solo Buds, and we've been pretty impressed with what you get for that budget price point. These are true wireless earbuds with a similar design and fit as the more expensive Studio Buds +, but without some of the more advanced features like Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Transparency, hands-free "Hey Siri" support, and auto play/pause ear detection. There's also no official sweat and water resistance rating, although they should still stand up pretty well to everyday usage.

I was able to find the Beats Studio Buds with ANC for $84.99 (only $5 more) new, sealed in box. Not refurbished. They are very good for the price. Shop around...

Great review, but I think you also forgot to mention. just like a lot of other videos that ppl have been posting. That the case doesn’t charged to earbuds. Just like the AirPods do or other beats buds cases. In order for them to be charged, you have to plug it in. The case is not self charge.

Idk what you're doing with your audio setup but it's getting so good that I have to check my Spatial Audio set
probably going to buy the red pair just to add to my collection. wouldn’t mind a bigger case a maybe a 20 dollar increase in price to see a battery to recharge the buds tho
Hi Kyle, do they have find my case feature or earbuds like the pros 2nd ones offer.
No IP rating on ear buds in 2024 is a no go. They are almost a $100.
Even 10 dollars earphones have ip rating

For an $80 earbuds it’s a shame it don’t have NC or transparency mode
Nearly 5 minutes and did not mention the most important thing. This is the only wireless earbuds to have NO BATTERY in the case!

I expected better sound quality out of these given the Beats brand. My Jabra 75t buds were cheaper and have amazing sound with the same battery life.
I already know the fit would not be comfortable. I’ll stick with the Beats Fit Pro or Power Beats for quality & comfort
The people complaining about no battery in the case do not realize always charging your earbuds to max all the time just ruin the battery a lot faster. The average life on AirPods are like 1~2 years because you always put them in a case and charge them up to full. In terms of this argument these earbuds will out last other buds if you know how to charge properly.

Me watching with my 60$ SkullCandy Bluetooth buds 😂 Has Battery in case with noise cancelation. High price brands are not worth it.
No ANC no deal. This is 2024. Shouldn’t have to get a Pro Max Ultra version to get what everyone else offers. Noise cancellation.
Love my Liberty 4 buds with (surprise surprise!) ANC. I can customize the sound with the Soundcore app.
They sound great and cost $63 refurbished including tax.
Just get studio buds instead you fine them on sale
Case transparent...but the buds are not...and lastly no battery for the case!

The case is a storage/carry case. No battery in the case so buds do not recharge from the case. A big corner cut right there! Not worth the price.
Beats solo buds are not a good deal in my opinion,the price is good for airpods as an alternative for apple devices to have the pop up setup screen,find my system,and register in your iCloud system.
For me I will go for the Nothing ear a, it has a transparent design,an app that has an EQ setting, transparency and noise cancellation,etc.
Plus, it's only $19 more expensive than the Beats solo buds.
This product is a joke. The case only charges earbuds if that is connected to a charger via USB. How is it 80 bucks and does not have an IP rating, ANC and a battery inside the case? Other brands have these features (ANC can be an exception) within this price range.
Not recomend, after one week of using this beat solo i feel better to use Nokia 1280 headset. rate 2/10

This thing isn't worth $20-$30, but since it's a 🍏 Beats product, despite its extortionate price, it's going to sell like hot cakes, pff 🤦🏽♂️
