- I know, "not another echelon video". I promise it's a little different. I tell my truth. I can't vouch for what those other guntubers told y'all about this gun.

I’m 5’8” and have the threaded version of this. I appendix carry this just fine. I own 5 glocks. The echelon legit destroys all of them in all aspects. It definitely crushed both versions of hellcats. Every optic you complained about the VIS system not accommodating is garbage. You sir, are whiney.
Thank you for your opinion sir.
So this is my favorite pistol straight out the box that I've had in at least 15 years at that price point. I've got 2100 rounds through my Echelon right now with zero malfunctions zero issues with anything. It almost feels like cheating shooting this gun with a DOT on it. The trigger pull is crazy better than any Glock unless you spend 200 on a unreliable Timany trigger. Springfield hit this one out of the park!!
It is a great gun, it isn't the best in my arsenal but I'm looking forward to future offerings. I just hated how Springfield pretty much sent it out to everybody and almost every bodied said it was the best thing out. Kind of like the prodigy. I do love both guns but they weren't a must have.
That’s exactly what it is a must have bro sorry
I bought the echelon because I love the look and instantly fell in love straight out of the box it kills the Glock that I have $1300 in! It’s crazy how good this gun is! Just my honest opinion
I love the look too. I never bought a Glock or Glock clone until last week when I got my zev 0z9c hyper comp.
idk what he talking about it’s a Gucci glock for half the price
Hey Tony, Great run down brother. I was looking to pick one of these up but I keep buying 2011's...lol Keep up the good work!
I appreciate it, I still have a lot of work to do to get the channel and quality where I want it. And I know the feeling, I just bought another gun...lol
Yeah I’ve been on the fence about getting one. I wanted to get one cause I don’t really have a full size 9mm. I’m torn between this and the Walther PDP. Honesty if you had to choose between the two which one would you get
The Walther pdp pro was on my list as well. I went with the echelon because of the modularity. Future grip options excites me. I kind of missed out on the sig hype. Hunt Fish Shoot as a good comparison between the two. ua-cam.com/video/desABeBtdPM/v-deo.htmlsi=gzA0M3bgftHHxAWc
I wanna know how the mags issue now? Have they fixed the QC on echelon mags?
Yes they did. Mags work perfectly no exploding going on over here 😂😂😂. And if you happen to get an older model with the defective mags, Springfield will replace it for free.
I really like my echelon. Went with the Large aggressive grip module early on. 👍👍
Yeah it has really grown on me.
I dont have favorite UA-camrs anymore... just ones that I rock with because I know them...... And this is the EXACT REASON WHY!!!!!!! Thank you sir for making this video. We know the ones that are getting free ammo or firearms........ ALL FACTS>. Now on to the Echelon. I don't have any time on it. They been killing Glock for the last 15 years..... yet Glock (RIP Gaston), is still alive and kicking. At best I've held one at the gunstore. Features are a plus. I like the look, weight, capacity and the mounting system. Great video fam.... had to sub. Keep going my G! I mess with the channel
Thank you sir. I get it, most guns should be good and reliable to serve the purpose of protection and safety but some of these guys say everything is top tier and you need to buy it asap. As for Glock, I've never like the guns themselves but respect what it brought or brings to the industry. I think everyone just wants to use the term "Glock killer" as clickbait.
I love my echelon.
It's grown on me. I love mine as well.
@beardedbully001 it's hard to have only one edc. I have a xdm elite 3.8 10mm a hellcat pro with 17 round magazine. I also have my hand built AR 15.
I totally agree.
Grip is personal preference. Mine is fine with me. Only thing I have done is weapon light and Holosun 507 C. Anything more is a waste of money to me.
we are all allowed to have our own personal opinion. I love a more crisp and shorter trigger. I don't like plastic parts so I try to replace those as soon as possible, hence why I upgraded the guide rod. Also I felt the mag release wasn't pronounced enough so I went with the apex version. But Ive always been a tinker, I almost never leave stuff stock. Glad you are enjoying yours as well.
Seems like that spring kit isn’t consistent. That’s a lot of variance between pulls
actually it was the position I pulled from. I didn't stay consistent.
in my opinion it is the best polymer frame pistol straight out of the box. I have Glocks I have sigs I have smith and Wessons and this has been my favorite straight out of the box
Is it better than the Walther PDP Pro? It has grown on me. Second polymer frame gun only to my zev hyper comp.
A trigger snob WITHOUT A CANIK IS CRAZY
Canix is on my short list. But I haven't found a gun yet I didn't change the trigger on.
@@beardedbully001 no need for trigger with canik...trust me
@@beardedbully001caniks have the lightest trigger that isn’t in the high end market out of the box, it’s 4lbs out of the box, with absolutely no creep. I can bet you cash when you get one, you won’t change the trigger.
@@rowdyghost4713 I plan on getting the canik TTI combat
@@beardedbully001 that comes with caniks upgraded trigger, which is even lighter than the regular caniks. I believe that is 3.5-3 lb trigger pull out of the box. Basically imo the best striker fired trigger you can get imo. I feel like that will give you that 2011 feel that you like.
What trigger you recommend for echelon
Honestly can't recommend one now. I did use the powder river precision trigger kit but you have to mis-match springs with the stock ones to get the best feel. Tyrannt CNC is supposed to drop their trigger soon.
@@beardedbully001 thanks man 🤞🏽🙏

Are you using your phone to record? I ask cause I’m considering doing it
You could depending on the phone. I'm using the dji osmo pocket 3. As long as you can record in 4k, 2k or 1080 P. Your angle is good and lighting is good. You can do it, especially way better than me. I lack space traveling in my RV.
Do you edc the Oracle compact
Nope don't have a holster for it. Might be getting rid of it soon.
Yeah the hype was crazy.
Man, they did a great job of marketing it and shipping it to stores. You could literally get one the day it launched. Blew my mind.
I respect the companies that want real feedback and then fix the issues and then SEND IT BACK to the UA-camr to test and review again and the UA-camr is honest about it as well. I follow a couple guys and then you got your shills and then the guys that do reviews and mention the good and intentionally leave out the cons. It’s just a pros list
So true. If you watch some UA-camrs every gun they review is amazing. I want see companies improve even if its just little things like milling their optics cuts a little lower.
The Title 😂😂😂😂
😂
I love my echelon over my Glock 17 gen 5.
Never owed a glock, but my Zev hypercomp, is my favorite gun and should be at that price over my echelon.
I have one and never had an issue period
No issues on my end either. It has grown to be one of my favorite guns. wish they had a compact version.
All companies have issues
So true.
Living in California I can’t get echolon 😢
😢 I thought they had a 10 rd mag for this or is it because it's not on that stupid list?
@@beardedbully001the pistol is not on the list in California, in not California compliance
Yeah that sucks. Hopefully they will add it soon, its a great gun. Especially for the price. @@raspur

I wish that was the case. None of my local gunshots had this firearm as the time of purchase.
No guess you didn't read my whole comment. I said you had the right to your opinion. If you look past the opening push for the gun people are still saying it is a great gun. Only people that seem to be mad that they weren't part of the opening push want to shit on the other opinion. I glad to hear though that some guns out the box are some that you like.
I literally just started my channel so of course I missed any ability to receive or be denied receiving a gun for review. Plus I didn't buy this gun initially because of what happened with the prodigy. All the gun tubers got great guns praised it to high heaven and then us regular people started buying them and having problems. I was lucky to only have a few malfunctions and I'm handy enough to fix those minor issues myself.
Man I wish I could work on gun past the basics. Lol I wish you much success with your channel will be looking for more videos. I would added should your targets and shooting if possible.
I can agree with you on what you said about Springfield. Not being a gun that is good for a beginner. The gun itself is for what I gather and what I saw and what I've seen. The gun is good for a beginner specially that comes out box shooting flat and it has serrations on top of the slides alongside of the slides that you can grab makes it easier for you to use it. The red dot and makes it where you can use. Just about any red dot that you need just coming out to upgrade. I'm telling my red dot sigit's. You also can change the grips with small handing hand medium for $600. This is a gun. That is good for a beginner, especially when you need something that you can carry for us every day and if you ammosexual It's right up your alley because A 21 round clip and a 17 round clip shoot and you've got somebody's trying to really handle. You really mess with you, you gotta go to work. And you should know you won't have run out of bullets.
First let me say thank you for watching the video and responding. Second I understand we all can't agree on everything. I will have to rebut a few things you pointed out. First on research: it's a polymer striker fired gun from Springfield Armory that uses the vis optic system and is modular with its' cog system. Besides it being made in Croatia and rebranded in the US there isn't much researching outside of actual feel and use to do. Second I agree that the vis system is amazing and better than anything else out there but for people who are in the springfield eco system it could have been a slight disappointment. For me, I bought the prodigy, as you know or may not know springfield didn't have alternative optic plates available so everyone was forced to utilized the doctor footprint if they wanted a red dot. Eventually springfield caught up and most of us got another optic plate for rmr and/or DDp footprints. That left us with an optic just lying around and some of us like me wanted to utilize that optic on the echelon only to find out it isn't compatible without the purchase of another optic plate. This wouldn't have been an issue if springfield didn't specifically push that optic footprint on us because they made the hex dragonfly that utilized it. Third, as for shooting flat, with the right technic on a 9mm full-size gun almost anybody with a little bit of strength and control can shoot their firearms pretty flat. I agree the gun is great, I just don't like the roll out from springfield by putting it in almost every guntubers hands, if you follow the tech industry you totally understand how I feel and though that sells products today it will but a strain on the gun industry and force companies to always try to come out with something new even though it isn't revolutionary. But do you feel this gun is a Glock killer or is better then canix or the Walther pdp pro?
I have to agree I love the 1911 . I have the Echelon the hellcat pro . I also have the sig M18 and the sig 365X and several Glocks . I really don’t think the Echelon is any better or worse than Glock Sig or Smith
I appreciate the comment. The echelon has grown on me. It's now one of my favorite guns. Can't wait for aftermarket grip modules.
Good gun but def not a glock killer
totally agree
@@beardedbully001 I did my own tricking out to my glock 45. Added radiant ramjet and after burner, did my own stipple job and installed timney trigger. I can shoot my $1700 glock build as good as a $5k staccato now
That's one thing I love about guns and vehicles, you can upgrade a cheaper model and make it as good as something twice or three times as much.
People are going to like what they like and have their own take on guns. Sounds like you went in from the jump on a negative vibe. You are crazy in my opinion if you dont think this is one of the best guns in its category. You seem like a hard to please guy cause you are like let me add all this bullshit to all my gunsbjust to like them. You do you. Just don't missblead the average guy that doesn't want to throw 1000 dollars in a good wrong in saying this is not a good gun. This is not the gun for you. I dont think you would like a Atlas out the box.
I guess you didn’t watch the video. I said it was a great gun, was just over hyped by guntubers. You say that but I loved the prodigy out the box. I actually just got a Zev oz9 hypercomp and love that, no need to swap anything on it. So I guess if I’m not saying what you want to hear it’s automatically negative. But still appreciate the view and comment. Have a blessed one 🙏
Springfield put that bag up & paid for free promotion. It's a cool gun. But it's not a G17 MOS killa what alot want it to be. It's another tool... #dressed2kill 🥷🏽🪖🙏🏾💪🏾💪🏾🥂👑💣💣💣💣💣🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🚀
Very true. Took a page from the tech industry and let the UA-camrs do the promotion for them.
