Slaves were by far one of the best sets at Reading this year! Me and my mates managed to get right near the front but ended up losing our littlest member of our group due to the instantaneous mosh pits that were unreal! We are all planning to see them again in december and cant wait!

I’m 58, 59 next month and this band have that incredible energy I felt going to the Lyceum in London when I was 18 and watching bands like Theatre of Hate, Peter and the Test tube babies, SLF, Meteor’s, you don’t know where this comes from, it’s just happens, it’s fucking magical.
Discovered Slaves at this years Radio 1 Big Weekend. My favourite discovery of the weekend. Bill Hicks would have loved these guys. Haven't seen a band play from the heart like these guys in a long time.
