Very nice. Good flow and ambiance. I especially like the arcade cabinets and how you fit them in without overcrowding everything. Thanks for showing us. I used to keep my boxes for everything but a few months ago I just ran out of space (well, technically I was out of space for a year or two but it was just starting to overflow) so finally decided it was time for the boxes to go. Now I'm trying to decide on a setup that will make it easier for me to swap mini consoles in and out.

Great video man and thanks for allowing us to have a sneaky look! Love the two screens up above, very cool. 😎
I like the R2D2 unit keeping guard of everything, anyone not welcome will be zapped lol.
I'm not big on horror but I do love Hammer Horror, Peter Cushion. That said, Rosemary's Baby is one evil movie lol. Very good though!

Thanks man!!! Yeah, I’ve been a huge horror fan since like 82’ lol. I think I’m up to almost 1700 horror movies in my collection now. I’m addicted to buying every horror I see 😂.

      Wow! That's some collection!
Maybe I can pick your brains... I recall watching a movie in the late 80's on TV, American made. The film starts in some lab with a baby that grows into a 20 year old in a matter of minutes, I'm sure she is mute but highly intelligent. She also has a dog that grew in the same way in the same lab, also highly intelligent, the girl and dog can communicate with each other telepathically... They both go on a killing spree from what I remember.
It was a long time ago I watched it and don't remember the name, it may of been a movie made for TV.
Not to worry if you can't make head nor tales from what I said. I watched in bed, just before going to sleep so my memory might be off.

@@MIK_F40, I could be wrong, but that sounds like the movie called “Embryo”. If that’s the movie, I own it lol. It was actually released in 1976 but was played late nights all through the 80’s👍

@@GameFreak1976 That was "bloody" quick lol. You may of hit the jackpot as I quickly skipped through the movie here on Tube and the dog as I remember it is there!!!! It's just gone 1am in the UK and I shagged but I will try to watch it over the weekend! Thanks Bro, I've been wanting to watch this again for donkey years!!! 🙂👍

@@GameFreak1976Many thanks Game Freak as you were 100% correct! It's crazy what little I remember, I must of been about 15 years old. Wow that doberman is mind blowing impressive even today, some scenes came flooding back! I should of remembered Roddy McDowell playing chess, can't believe I forgot that as I love Planet of the Apes!
Thanks again bud, such a random movie to be asked about I'm sure, and you were right! 😎👍

Very cool! I like your Masters of the universe figures. That NES controller looks comfy. Where did you get that at? I bought two 8 bit do wireless NES controllers and I really like them.

Those are the controls that come with the NES clone console called the Classiq N. Comes with 2 controllers. Awesome console that works great. Only $40 on Amazon. I only bought it for review purposes since my original nes works fine. I didn’t want the clone collecting dust so I built an 8 bit arcade cabinet and used it as the power source👍

What's the point in having so many nearly identical TV's? Wouldn't it be better to have one really good one with a nice sofa in front and a decent sound system? Just curious.
    Freakade is a great piece!

    • @GameFreak1976
      @GameFreak1976  7 днів тому

@@Markinator83, I have 14 different consoles hooked up. My wife and my youngest son (20 yrs old), come in and play at times. We all have different tastes in games so it wouldn’t work having everything hooked to one tv. Plus, this was the design I had in mind when building this room. I actually want 2 more TV’s hung for more options. The more gaming I see on multiple screens, the better.

Keep in mind, speaker magnets in say the Freakade may cause damage to a CRT if they are too close to each other for a long period of time.

80s/90s arcade machines had external speakers, crt tvs have built in speakers so it's not an issue just has to be shielded and distanced like they were back in the day.
