    Love the Porsche vids but where is the 996?!

    I find the only reason manufacturers locate the oil filter on top of the engine is that they also recommend sucking used oil out from the top instead of draining it from the bottom. But it seems this guy here doesn't even have a dipstick. What are they trying to pull?

    Cool video. Nice tips. But how do you reset the oil change monitor?

    • @fcpeuro
      @fcpeuro  2 роки тому

      HI Roco, we used our in house Autel Maxicheck 808 to reset the monitor. If we get the car back in we would be happy to do a quick tech tip with it.

    5w40 or 0w40 for the 997.2 3.6?

      I do five 5W50 but I live in Southern California where it’s very warm and never gets below freezing so depends where you live

    My 997.2 turbo s takes about 8.5 quarts after letting it drain a couple hours …

    on the oil filter, I bought a torque wrench that only goes to 33.9 nm, and 20 ft lbs, do I need to get another wrench?

    • @km2001
      @km2001 Рік тому

      That's perfect. The oem drain plug is supposed to be tightened at 19ft/lb tq.

      The correct torque is 2.5NM on the oil filter
